Backmulde Gaststätte - Heidelberg

This hotel was actually very nice and clean. Location could not be better - Old Town. It is located on a quiet street so there is not issue with noise. Plus the breakfast were excellent which i Germany is typical.In summary - a highly recommended hotel.

Backmulde is a small guest house with plain, but very clean rooms. Beds and bathrooms are fine, though the desks are too small to do serious work. Singles are tiny, doubles, which cost only a bit more, are a generous size. Breakfast is excellent and the hotel restaurant outstanding. The old market square is only two blocks away, the river and bus stop […] half a block. Despite the central location, the rooms face onto interior courtyards (one of which has an old castle tower in the middle!) so the rooms are very quiet.The one problem during my stay was barely functional wireless internet access--they were having trouble with their router; but the helpful staff did what they could to fix it. This hotel is right off the main street of Heidelberg, very good service, love the breakfast. The only thing that bother me is the amount of dust under our bed. Looks like it hasn't been swept for awhile. We would stay there again.

Wir haben eine Nacht in der Backmulde verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Es ist sehr angenehm und familiär dort. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, besonders das Obstangebot.

Das Hotel liegt am Rand der Fußgängerzone der Heidelberger Altstadt, sehr ruhige Lage, PKW Zufahrt nicht ganz einfach zu finden, Parken im Innenhof möglich, freundliche und wohnlich eingerichtete Zimmer, Service einwandfrei, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit ganz frischem Obst

Bra läge för turister. Svårt att komma till med bil, men en bra parkering är inte så långt borta som man tror. Bra relation pris - prestanda.

Mycket charmigt hotell med perfekt läge. Frukosten hade allt vi kunde önska. Mycket mysigt trebäddsrum med smakfull inredning. Vi uppskattade mycket att hotellet hade egen ( liten) parkering eftersom det annars är mycket svårt att hitta en parkeringsplats i Heidelberg . Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell..

Mycket trevligt hotell med bra läge i Gamla stan i Heidelberg. Lite trångt med parkeringen bara, och lite svårt att hitta dit med bilen. Vår GPS visade in oss på avstängda gator...Men det kan ju uppdateras givetvis. Och vår Volvo V70 fick ju trots allt plats.

If you want to stay at a hotel in the old city, this is a good place. Otherwise choose another hotel. Difficult to find if you travel by car the first time. Internet didn't work. The staff is very serviceminded!
