good breakfast and social hour. Quiet location

Great location; sort off the beaten path and quiet. Our accommodations were perfect; our room with a kitchen, separate seating area and decor throughout was very pleasing. We will DEFINITELY stay in this hotel in the future! Thank you!

Brand new hotel with great amenities; pool,excellent breakfast,parking,etc.. Staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms were extremely well appointed studios! All in a very convenient location- University area 15 min., shopping nearby.

I usually expect Residence Inns to fall into the extended stay category and not be competitive with the general hotel options. But in this case we were amazed that a short weekend stay at this Marriott Residence Inn was not only affordable but very competitive with the other major chain hotels in the area. What you get for the money is nothing short […] of fantastic. The room was very clean, comfortable and had a FULL kitchen as well as a small sofa and armchair. Bed was newer and reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was nothing extraordinary in design, but spotless and plenty of towels. No hassles on check in and friendly service the only other time I had cause to speak to them. Breakfast was the usual hot and cold spread, and even though the hotel was crowded, we had no problems getting whatever we wanted to eat. The only negative during our stay was finding a parking spot at 10 PM Saturday night before a Steelers game... We lucked out and took the last one. Location is about 15 minutes east of downtown (as long as the stupid bottleneck Squirrel Hill Tunnel isn't backed up). The location is not one where you go out and walk to anything, except the Sheetz. But if you are coming from the east and want fairly easy access to downtown, I recommend it as long as some traffic doesn't bother you. All in all, I had no significant complaints about the hotel. Truly one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever had - it was clean, comfortable and resembled a very nice studio apartment. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

We recently spent a week at the Residence Inn and were very pleased with everything. The suite we had was perfect for our needs...it was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was always pleasant and willing to help. The breakfast buffet was varied and a nice way to start our day.

This is a new property so it's in very good condition. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Shopping, restaurants and grocery store within minutes or even walking distance. It felt like a small efficiency apartment instead of a hotel room. I was more comfortable here than I've been in swankier hotels at double the price. Would definitely recommend this […] property. We stayed at this hotel a few weeks back and my stay was wonderful. The free breakfast was delicious...I got to make my own waffles :) But the bagels and ceral and oatmeal and eggs and pancakes etc etc etc was so fresh and delicious. SO highly recommended. There is a mall right outside the hotel, so if you forgot something you can walk accross the street […] and get it. It was quiet, SUPER clean, beautifully decorated.
