Old Riga Hotel Vecriga - Riga

All good, had a nice stay. Did miss a buffet breakfast though. The breakfast was brought up to the room and so it had to be booked the night before.

After 5 previous visits to Riga, (which shows how much we like the old town) we decided to try a different hotel (as we had always used the same one before). We checked it to what seemed a pleasant, clean and tidy hotel as indicated with my ratings. We were only there for 2 evenings, but unpacked our few belongings before venturing out into the town. […] We returned early evening to freshen up for the evening, only to be told there had been a mistake with our booking and that we would have to check out in the morning as they had double booked. They said they had booked us into a suitable hotel around the corner. As you can imagine this changed our so far pleasant experience. They had booked us into the other hotel on the 5th Dec it was now 31st Dec, so not only were we not informed early Dec, they didn't even tell us at time of checking in. I went to check out the other hotel and found it to be even better than this one. So name of hotel I strongly recommend is the Old City Boutique Hotel.... I returned and demanded that they check us in there immediately for the 2 nights and save us the hassle of having to get up early to check out and possibly then have to wait to check in etc, let alone waste time when we should be enjoying our trip. Give them their due they accommodated us immediately with our request. Now in their defense. They said they didn't have our contact details as we had booked via hotels.com who in turn had used the Expedia database. I made the booking with Hotels .com so at the end of the day I see it as their duty to have informed me. But Expedia would of had my details, and hotel could have also asked for them to contact us. Plus for the hotel to have overlooked this minor detail when we checked in also seems crazy. It was alls well that ends well, but could have been very different. Make up you own mind. Gave one for hotel service, as what else could I give after not letting us know this information. But the way they handled the problem was first class Devamı

The hotel is very nice like a family hotel , the staff is very polite and the hotel is in the middle of the old touwn wath makes it very easy to walk there.

Veldig bra. Gåavstand til de aller fleste severdigheter.Hyggelig betjening. Eneste drawback var at badet var veldig enkelt.

bra hotell,med en fin beliggenhet. stille og rolig strøk som passet oss veldig bra. gangavstand til kjpesenter,markeder og butikker. det eneste vi klager på er frokosten.. lite pålegg,ikke melk og kun små bagetter som brød.

Et bra gammelt hotell med sjel i rolige og meget sentrale omgivelser. Enkel frokost. Et helt OK alterativ for et weekend opphold. Positivt at det ligge4r i hjertet av Gamle Riga som er en serverdighet og et must å se. Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold. Hyggelig betjening.

Et helt fantastisk hotell til en billig penge. Hotellet lå i gangavstand til det meste som en ville se i gamle byen. Frokosten var grei nok kunne med fordel vært litt grovt brød og ikke bare loff. Vi spiste middag på hotellet to kvelder for makan til nydelig mat den var bare helt fantastisk, vi gir restaurangen terningkast seks. Veldig hyggelig og blide […] personale . Vi kommer gjerne igjen. オールドシテイの散歩に疲れたらちょっとホテルで一息したり近くには美味しいレストランがあるのですがこのホテルのレストランがまたおいしいのです。朝食のサーブの人もすぐ好みを覚えていて、良かったです。

Vi bodde på detta hotel i 3 nätter, och tyckte det var kanon, jättebra läge i gamla stan, nära till tåg och busstation, nära till restauranger och uteliv om så vill. Jättetrevlig personal, och mysig innergård för att käka frukost. Rekomenderas.

We love great food and that is what we found, we ate an amazing four course dinner and could not be happier with the service and food that where provided. If you are staying here don't go out to eat, stay at the hotel and enjoy!

Olimme tilanneet ystävättäreni kanssa erilliset vuoteet, mutta saavuttuamme meille osoitettiin huone parisängyllä ja ilmoitettiin ettei koko hotellissa ole kuin 2 huonetta erillisillä sängyillä. Aamupala ei toiminut samalla kaavalla kuin normaalisti hotelleissa seisovasta pöydästä vaan pöydässä oli kaavake millä tilattiin rasti ruutuun systeemillä mitä […] halusi syödä ja aamiainen tuotiin pöytään-erikoista mielestämme.Lisäksi aamiainen ei ollut kovin hääppöinen. Huone oli kuuma ja villakoiria sängyn ja kaappien alla. Atmosfääri oli kyllä mukava ja kylppärissä oli amme plussana. Hotellin sijainti oli todella hyvä,keskellä vanhaa kaupunkia.
