Las Almenas - Granada

We loved the location of this hotel and the lovely staff. The lady and gentleman on reception appeared to be the managers and were extremely helpful. We were given an upgrade on arrival as our double room was apparently 'very small' (we never saw it) and so were given a gorgeous room at the front of the hotel with a massive outdoor terrace. Unfortunately […] we didn't use it as it was raining. The room was spotlessly clean. The parking place we had reserved was unavailable so we were directed to the nearby 24hour car park and the hotel paid the difference in cost, which was fine with us! As it was our first time in Granada we got completely lost finding the hotel and ended up in the city centre, reading signs that said 'unauthorised vehicles not allowed'. We very alarmed by this! If you get caught you get fined! However, if you're staying in a hotel in town then they cover the fine through your hire company so all we needed to do was give the hire company a copy of the hotel receipt. We loved Granada and the many tapas bars offering free tapas! Bar Sevilla was excellent; bit pricier than offer places but we loved it and went back there the next day. We also loved Mas Que Vinos and tried to go back there but it was packed out on Sunday lunchtime so we went to Bar Sevilla instead. We'll definitely be back at Las Almenas! Devamı

Jose really makes this place special, very welcoming and happy to help any time. Rooms clean quiet and comfortable, very elegant design with lovely onside cafe. Close to Shopping, restaurants, and cathedral. Short taxi ride or 40minute walk up to the alhambra. Lovely little hotel. Friendliness of staff was fantastic. Beautiful rooms. Reasonably close to everything. No parking which is common for Spain.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous, the owner is very helpful, giving useful information about Granada. The hotel is worth far more stars, however probably doesn't qualify as it is small and friendly. The rooms are sumptous and very clean. The hotle is ideally situated for exploring Granada and although on a busy street it is very quiet inside. Pros: Lovely hotel with central location, close to all major attractions. Very clean, with helpful stuff. Cons: No internet in our room "due to a faulty cable". Breakfast and parking not included in the price so if you are driving you have to fork out another Euro 15 to get a parking. Due to location, very hard to find a parking spot on the street […] . This hotel was well situated for exploring Granada on foot. Room clean and comfortable and staff very pleasant. Only had drink in adjoining bar/cafe but barman created very tasty tapas of tomato and anchovies - delicious.

Booked after seeing Hotel Las Almenas highly rated on Trip Advisor - and it most definitely lived up to the reviews and our expectations! Spotlessly clean, very close to city centre, reasonably priced and impeccable service from Josef Snr and his son Josef Jnr on reception. Josef Snr, who speaks English, French, German and Portuguese (at least!) was […] so helpful, including getting us car parking in a secure underground space very close to hotel for about 16 euros (day rate); he was also able to tell us how to get our tickets for the Alhambra after we forgot to bring our online booking number. Deliciously cool beer and very tasty tapas was available from the hotel bar - so welcome after a long and hot drive! A charming host, a charming place to stay and excellent value for money! Conveniently located in the city centre, short walk to main square and cathedral, reasonable walk to Alhambra (although quite hilly). Room was fantastic; service of the hotel owner was superb. A great breakfast in the adjoining tapas bar. Overall good value for money a must stay when in Granada!

We just stayed for one night. Fancy rooms like in a 5-Star Hotel. State of the art Air-condition which is really necessary in always hot Granada.. Shower like in a HighEnd Spa with 354 different functions ;) Quiet. Very confortable bed. close to center and amenities like Telepizza and Tapas Bar next door, and grocery shop 1min walk. parking for the […] night was 14€ if e remember right, but we parked 1 street down and was ok too. Older gentleman that worked the front desk was very kind and helpful.

Great location, rooms are big, modern & comfortable. Close to everything. Best of all the old guy (might be the owner) was the best, he organized shows to see, car hire. He was so friendly and helpful.

The owner is very warm and nice. We had few concerns; There was no breakfast, no computer and no space in parking lot. All the mentioned above forced us to spend more money outside the hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel, excellent price, clean, modern rooms, very well located, very friendly and helpful staff, couldn't ask for more.

Hôtel bien placé dans la ville, accueil très aimable. Décoration un peu vieillotte pour le style mais très propre. Le moins : pas de petit déjeûner servi à l'hôtel, chambre sur la rue un peu bruyante du fait de la circulation. Le parking public, à 5mn de l'hôtel, coûte 18 € par 24 heures.

Værelse OK. Vi havde bestilt billet til Alhambra, så receptionens langsomme service ved check-ind var ret irriterende! Der var ingen morgenmadsservering og døren fra receptionen til nabobaren var spærret, så man måtte gå ud og ind igen - i 2 graders varme! Desuden var der meget larm fra legende børn til vort værelse fra den indre gård, som var indrettet […] som selskabslokale for baren, indtil de små timer. Vort vindue gav nemlig mod gården. Devamı

En calle muy centrica, muy bien comunicado con línes de bus por si hay que desplazarse a lo lejos, la catedral queda a 10 minutos andando, la zona de tapas más conocida a otros 10 aprox. La unica pega a estar tan céntrico, es el ruido, no se puede decir que sea el hotel más tranquilo del mundo, pero evidentemente es algo muy complicado de modificar […] al tener una de las calles más transitadas de granada en frente. En cuanto a las instalaciones, están muy cuidadas y el trato es bueno, el único péro, es el Wifi, no alcanza las habitaciones superiores (planta 3), ya nos lo informaron al llegar, tampoco es problema ya que tienen una sala de estar en la entrada del hotel muy comoda para poder conectarse por wifi. En la propia cafeteria del hotel tienen una amplia variedad de tapas para degustar y los desayunos son de precio económico (3€ aprox, café, tostadas y zumo). Devamı

El hotel ha sido genial y a un muy buen precio para la calidad de sus habitaciones. Limpieza, elegante, calido... son algunos de los adjetivos que le puedo dar al hotel. El único fallo para mi fue cuando le pregunte sobre si tenían parking y me dijo que si, pero no me comentó que costaba dinero... también fallo mio por supuesto pero siempre quedas […] como un señor comentando que cuesta dinero y no creo que ellos lo necesiten con ese hotel. Es un hotel confortable y cálido. Se destaca por su excelente atención. Muy cuidados todos los detalles. Muy buena predisposición a solucionar todo tipo de contratiempo.

Helas un peu bruyant (chambre donnant sur une avenue)

Reservamos este hotel porque habíamos leído buenas opiniones en Tripadvisor y no nos decepcionó. El hotel esta muy céntrico, cerca de la zona comercial y la catedral. Las habitaciones sencillas pero muy limpias y con baño a la última. La cafetería, muy bonita, está decorada con motivos arabescos. Y el personal muy amable que te hace sentir como en  […] casa. Hotel Las Alamenas in Grenada was really very good and I surely reccomend it. It is done in a very stilish way, resembling the arabic architecture motives. The rooms are confortable and clean, the service is also good. The breakfast is not included, but there is a bar that is also part of the hotel; there you can have a decent breakfast at a reasonable […] price. My only criticism is that there was not a frigde in the room, and for a hot city like Grenada I would have liked a fridge to keep some cold water. Devamı

Très grande chambre avec radio et TV. Propreté irréprochable !! Personnel à l'accueil très accueillante, l'une d'elle parle français et nous a même pris le temps de nous expliquer les lignes de bus pour se rendre dans les quartiers sympa de la ville avec plan de la ville en prime. Nous sommes très satisafit de notre passage dans cet hôtel.

Molto buono per posizione (un pò difficoltoso per carco e scarico bagagli vista la strada molto trafficata) e per tutto l'hotel in generale. Veramente ottimo.
