The Blvd Hotel and Spa - Studio City

It was a pretty good Hotel. Would have been better if the staff had been polite and friendly. They weren't rude bu just cold and unattentive to s.

overall it was nice and new but unsatisfied since pool heater was broken and no cokes in the coke machine.

the hotel was nicer than we thiught. Pool area was in an odd lication (garage) and gym only had 3 items, but the room was nice and relaxing. Looked like my hotel in Barcelona. Staff was awesome and very very helpful. Would stay again!

Close to many shops & resturants! 15 min to our Laker Game!

There parking situation is a little weird it needs to be a little bit more organized like some one out there watching. i was blocked in by someones car and they didn't know or have the keys to the the vehicle. i had to wait a little bit. the gave me a complimentary drink. i was okay because i wasn't in a big hurry. in the room i was in there was a big […] crack on the mirror and the shower drain was braking into the ground. but i did like it it was a fairly nice hotel didn't smell any cigarette smoke, the hotel did feel nice because of the low dimmed lights in the room felt some what modern too me. overall i had a pretty good experience the staff was very nice. Choose this last minute while in town for business and completely surprised by comfort and location. Will stay again!

1st off, make sure everyone wanting to stay there understands that your "pool" is a skin removing oversized lava jacuzzi, not an "indoor pool". This hotel is in a great location to universal studios and there are many fast food restaraunt within walking distance. Negative: the pool is located in the parking garage and was very cloudy. You have to walk through the parking garage to get to the pool which is in a small room near an alley. Kind of scary.

I was very pleased with the location of the hotel. It is about a 5 minute walk to a free shuttle to Universal Studios and a short drive from Hollywood Blvd. The parking garage was spacious and easy to get in and out of. My husband and I were very pleased with the hotel.

we had a wonderful time every one was so helpful. we were new to the area and found everything just fine with the info given.

A few problems: the room had some partiers screaming at 2 AM, the bar in the lobby is kinda lame, parking is a bit awkward. Overall though, I had a good stay and enjoyed my time there. The TV's are sweet, bathroom is big and clean and the beds were in good condition.

It was a perfect hotel EXCEPT THEY HAVE NO KITCHEN WHICH MEANS NO ROOM SERVICE :(

I was so happy with our stay at The Blvd Hotel and Spa. We only stayed one night and when I read reviews about the nearby Sheraton being noisy, unclean, expensive, and uncomfortable I felt a bit nervous to try a new place but I did after reading the good reviews about the Blvd Hotel. Was a little hesitant after a nights stay at the Hilton Universal. Totally was the cherry on top to an amazing trip. I'll be staying at Blvd for future vacations to NoHo!

The staff were friendly and, for the most part, helpful. The room smelled like deodorizer. It was very strong like they were trying to cover up something. The floors (had no carpeting which I like) were sticky. I could not get the internet to work.

I am not blaming the hotel for the rating I am blaming hotels.com for giving information about the hotel that is not correct I reserved this hotel for 6 people -- there was only 2 beds and NO I repeat NO pull out couch as hotels.com said! The HEATED pool was cold - that is all on the hotel - it is a 10' x 10' hole in the parking garage - really?? […] Such an upscale hotel and then a pool off the parking garage - car exhaust fumes right over the pool!! Overall a "Wow" factor! I was impressed with staff, rooms. As I booked the hotel I was a bit skeptical with price and rooms. At the time before booking I looked at the gallery to see how it looked. I thought that it was not going to be how it really was featured. Come to experience it, it was more than I thought. I reserved a king suite for a night, although I was tempted to book it for another night, unfortunately my trip had to end due to work. I got a glimpse of the other rooms while on my way to checking out and still impressed. I recommend anyone to stay there at this place near universal studios. This hotel was great. The location is 5 minutes from Hollywood Blvd and 2 minutes from Universal Studios. The only negative aspect is the lack of a restaurant. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hollywood!

It's a great hotel. The stuff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are really great and huge. The bathroom is great. The shower is a waterfall. This boutique hotel is unbelievable. The location is also great. I really loved this hotel.

We read all the reviews before we booked with this establishment and they were mixed. We experienced about the same as everyone else. in addition, this could be a great establishment with more time and training.

The staff at the Blvd was great. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed - probably the best I've ever had at a hotel. The rainfall shower was great, too. They also have free beer and wine at happy hour and you can't beat that! It's around the corner from Universal City Walk, which is where we needed to be (location […] of iFly). There were other places within walking distance as well. The neighborhood didn't look great although we didn't have any bad experiences there. The price was right, the internet was quick and the room was clean but... in an attempt at modernism they ended up with faux wood floors that make the rooms feel cold and unwelcoming. I recently stayed at the Custom Hotel near Marina del Rey. It also strives for modernism but does it without feeling cold.

Amazing rooms great service and really good prices

I love this hotel, we've stayed there a few times since it's been remodeled. I was pretty bent when they said it was $15 to park in the hotel garage. The times we stayed there before they did not charge for parking. I find that a little shady that you have to pay to park at the hotel you are staying at. This place was a true treat for me. The room was clean and inviting with a modern decor. The bathroom shower was fantastic! The pool was warm. The machines in the workout room worked well, and the view of ventura blvd while using them was a plus! The lobby lounge was cool, and had a bar to match. Free wine and beer for happy hour? Yes please! As close […] as you can get to universal city walk, and that was a big plus. Easy access to hwy too. This made the trip to the beach a short one. Lastly and ABOVE ALL by far.... Every single person who worked there had a genuine interest in making sure I felt welcome and was happy with everything. This is something very special that almost never happens. Having worked for Marriott Hotels as a housekeeping manager for 2 years, im normaly very hard to please. The Blvd Hotel not only did that, but honestly surprised me. While the hotel staff is very helpful and polite it can't over come the condition of the hotel. The elevator and hallways smelled extremely bad. This was a motel 6 at best......the bathroom shower title had holes in the walls and was missing plastic title. The water was cold and there was no presure. We stayed here during the week, it was very convenient to the freeway and to Universal Studios, just one block walk to shuttle pickup. We ended up staying an addl night, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was very nice. Would definitely recommend staying there. Loved the big flat screen tv!!

great location: within walking distance of Universal Studios, but not in the horrible traffic lanes into and out of the park.

This hotel is pretty new and has a spa inside of the hotel along with a pool and a bar and cafe! Beautiful rooms and amazing beds!

This hotel is a good deal for the price. Hip and Modern. The rooms are nice, however service is slow compared to chain hotels. The walls are very thin, specially the ceiling. You can hear the person from the room above walk. It can make it hard to sleep when you hear steps (and they sound hard) all night (up to 2-3 am). However, the location makes […] it worth it.
