It had all the things we needed, before arriving I worried whether it had been too cheap. But I was very happy to find that no corners were being cut, everything was really well maintained and the staff were very keen both in the main facility and in the restaurant.

The hotel is far off from Rome Termini station. You have to take a train then bus then cross the bridge. Bus comes rarely once in an hour. On top of that if you have a baby pram you can be sitting the whole day for the bus. The rooms are far from the reception on top of the hill so you would have to spend all your energy taking the Pram up. Unfortunately […] though they have hotel cars you will be denied access. Rooms are very small and no drainage in the toilet. On the whole if you will pay for the small bit you save on the cost with your extra effort and tiredness. Very comfortable location. Though it is not in the main tourist area, you can catch a bus to Cornelia (5 mins) and then take a metro to any place. It takes 15-30 minutes to reach any place in Rome, on the metro. Being away from the touristy area you get more varied, authentic and cheaper eating options. I recommend cafes and restaurants in Cornelia. […] For a quick bite, you can even grab a Pizza or some stuff from the supermarket opposite to the camp. The camp doesnt offer much in luxury but has all the basic stuff. Rooms are small but clean. There is a bar/restaurant inside the camp. The camp has been maintained well. Though you dont get room service, the reception desk is ready to offer all the help. Cost-wise it works out a LOT cheaper than any other options in Rome. I would visit again. Devamı

There were 3 of us staying in a chalet. It was nice to have a verandah with a bbq table outside. The chalet was small but mostly functional. I cannot imagine staying in anything smaller than the chalet. It was nice to have two separate bathrooms however the double bed took in my room took all the space so there wasn't any floor space for my bags. We […] didn't have any hot water for the first two days and then our gas oven stopped working so we had to be moved to another chalet. Location is away from town but easy to get to via bus. We would catch the bus to Cipro and then just walk to Vatican city. When going to see Colosseo etc we would jump on the metro at Cipro.The nightwatchman, Dialo (?) was really helpful. The staff at reception not so much but I wasn't entirely sure if that was due to language barriers. The facilities were good the wifi connection not so great.Connection was really difficult most of the time. That aside it's a great little village. We went during winter so there weren't any tours operating however I can see that it would be awesome during summer. Overall great value for money. We would definitely stay there again when in Rome. The internet exaggerated this hotel but all in all everything was ok. We expected a club and a 24 hour shop and we were told we would be given adapters and free internet which we did not.

This camping village is a breakaway from a hotel stay. We like its set up and ambiance. Although a little bit noisy at times and crowded, we did not mind. We like the "homey" ambiance. The price is right. The wifi connection is slow especially if your bungalow or chalet is farther from the internet cafe. The closer you are the better signal. Staff at […] the reception are helpful. The location of this camping village is away from the famous sites but the bus station is just outside the village that brings you to the Metro station and from the Metro it is easier to go around Rome. The only downside in this hostel is the long walks up and down to access your room. The bungalows/chalets are still farther from the reception area.It adds up especially when you came home tired from a whole day of sightseeing.There are three set of stairs with 61 steps total to overcome. Its hard especially if you have luggages to bring to your room during check in time and bringing down the luggage during check out is another challenge you have to overcome. Gravity is the enemy. But if you come with a car, its not a big deal since you can drive up and park your car in your bungalow or chalet. We stayed there for 11 nights that we eventually got used to the stairs. It strengthen our calve muscles, haha! The supermarket across the street is an added bonus. We buy our food there and save money in the process. Do not expect luxury, no cable tv's and such but a good place to stay in Rome. Devamı

Very cute bungalows. Breakfast was great. The bungalow was small which was expected but it had everything we needed in it. Very convenient in buying bus tickets in their machine. Only downside was there were a couple of insects that crawled when we turned the heating on. nice village with clean rooms and facilities like parking, restaurant and supermarket. though a bit outside rome, if you are looking for cheap hotel consider the expenses you will incurr using taxi/cab. though a bus station right in front of the property with buses connecting to metro stations. overall experience was good but a bit noisy..some locals […] were partying all night. the security did not stop them but maintained vigil all night. may be they should fix certain time at night after which people are not allowed to create nosie at levels which disturbs others.. stayed here because we were told and read reviews that it was clean, convienient and family friendly. NOT THE CASE Great if you want to party all night. But who wants that in such an incredible city? Noisy every night, left early, preferred to lose money than lose another nights sleep. No enforcement of curfew, no care factor for quiet guests. Front desk girl very very rude.....i got there early told me to come back at 1pm...at 4pm room still not ready...i found housekeeper they said they didnt know i was waiting on room to be cleaned and kindly cleaned it asap.....thank you housekeepers...i appreciate you doing that for us...security guard left guard house unattened with door wide open for […] around 15 minutes with my luggage and others...guard house is right by street so it was bit concerning he should have locked the door when he left....i stayed at several camping villages and this one seemed to be the most disorganized and worst service, i will never stay there again...there was another customer yelling at 3 of office employees for something and front desk employees were behind customer laughing instead of taking care of situation.....the other camping villages in italy and germany were great service and great great great overall Devamı

Very cheap and good location. Opposite supermarket and bus stop right outside the gates. Bus 246 takes you straight to the city centre where you can get the metro. They also provide a shuttle bus for 11 EUR to the airport, which is cheaper than getting the bus, metro, then the train to the airport.

I would recommend this campsite if you are staying in Rome for more than 2 days. It is a great combination of relaxation that the campsite brings and the bustling city centre of Rome. As you have to travel into the city (a bus and a metro) it is a good destination if you are not in a rush to see all the sites in one day. You can buy tickets for the […] bus and the metro at the campsite if you arrive with your own transportation. The one downside is that it might take a while for a bus to arrive and when it does, there will be lots of campers trying to take the bus with you. The upside is the pool which after a day of being in the hot city is amazing. The toilets are very clean, the camping shop has all you need and there is a large supermarket across the street. There were groups of young travellers staying in the bungalows when we were there however there is a policy of keeping quiet after 11 at night which seemed to be respected. We rented a bungalow for 2 with airconditioning which was clean and they supplied us with towels and sheets and blankets. Devamı

We stayed in a bungalow and for the first time we had air-con! This place is right next to bus stop and supermarket. It has bar, restaurant, laundry service, and a small grocery shop within the village. It took me a while to get to the camping village from Roma Termini. I took the metro to Cornelia, and then walked to the main bus station nearby to take bus 246. When the bus goes up a bridge and down again, a supermarket […] will appear. That is the bus stop to the camp. The camping village will be across the road. The location is not super convenient. I had to take the bus to the metro and then take the metro to the destination everyday. Another down side is that the bus is very crowded after around 10am. A ticket for bus+metro is 1.5 euro for 100 minutes, and 6 euro for a day pass.It has shuttle to Vatican city every hour from 8am to 6pm, which costs 2 euro round trip. There are ticket services within the camp. The wireless internet signal is the strongest near the info office and the bar. I think this place is more suitable for young people. Devamı

excellent stay well situated good facilities, only negative was the dining area, the food was great but the staff were trying to serve to many people at the same time and often made mistakes resulting in food going back and forth. But i would highly recommend and we will stay here again

Spartan type of hotel. The best short description I could think of is: It's just like a well kept hostel, but with the private bathroom. The room we stayed in had no TV or even radio, but there is wireless internet, which is just fine with us because as soon as we wake up, we typically get ready to see the sights until we get back at night to catch […] some sleep. For the price this is a great place to stay. My only criticism is that I stayed in a Bungalow and the water temperature wouldn't stay constant which made showering very difficult. There are cheaper places in the camping village to stay than the Bungalow but I didn't see it advertised on the site here. There are tents and you can stay in them by self […] or with others and that is cheaper or if you have your own tent they have really cheap sites. I stayed here for a week at Easter with my two sons (9 and 11). The chalet was basic, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The only slight disappointment was that the pool wasn't open when we stayed but the weather wasn't that great anyway. Three of us stayed in a five bed chalet, which was very comfortable and equipped with the basics but no kettle. We stayed for the first week in April and for most of it the on site supermarket and shuttle where unavailable but with a good supermarket over the road and good public transport links (other than on the Sunday when we found the buses were […] infrequent) we didn't really miss them. The camps airport shuttle bus was great and the restaurant on site served good food at a reasonable price. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Although a little far from the centre of Rome, Camping Roma was a very nice place to stay. even if you are 40. Staff were very helpful and all spoke English. The tourist information provided on site was very helpful and sold tickets for the bus and metro as well as all the tourist sites. Ok, first, the pool was closed and nasty dirty... Camping village Rome, includes pool, restaurant open all day, super market, games area... NOOOOOOOO Hotel description was completely wrong, the pool was closed, the super market was closed and looking like was abandoned for few years, the restaurant only open in the morning for an eggs and toast breakfast […] and cold coffee and at night for a bad dinner menu, and dont even talk about the recreation area... We stayed in a bungalow in February. It was very basic and small but clean and the camping village itself quite nice. Bungalows have heating but still get very cold at night. Sylvia, the lady at reception was so helpful. Not all of the facilities were open due to the time of year but everything that was open were good. Service and support provided by Daniele (gentleman) was outstanding!! They're lucky to have him at the entrance/ check-in-point of Camping Village Roma. Nice security gentleman was also a big help when we had to check out early on our last day for departure back home. The camping village is a development tract with trailer/ type manufactured housing. […] While the housing is a bit on the small side, the units are clean, separate from the other units, the location was convenient, service at front desk very helpful, and bus stop right next to hotel. Daniele can provide a "basic" map of the bus and metro routes. Camping Village Roma also provides bus service to Rome to see some of the sights at a minor cost. They also have a laundry facility that, while we thought it was expensive (4 Euro per wash, includes soap and 3.5 Euro for 45 minutes drying), turned out to be the cheapest laundry we did while in Italy!! The main convenience of Camping Village Roma for us was they were able to accommodate five of us (family) in a single unit. We will stay there again if the whole family travels. Most of the staff were rude or somewhat besserwisser-oriented. Cleaning occured only every 7th day!!! Not easy to get fresh towels. The bar/restaurant had good food but thought they were cooler than the number of guests. Happy hour did not work out properly. The bartender said it had ended even when the actual time said 15 minutes more to go according […] to their own clock! Extremely cold in the room, only suitable for summer. A heater working excessively to fill the room with heat but cold air streaming in through open ventilation in the walls. A + plus to a male receptionist with good English and a willing to explain to customers. Other were a bit hiding behind the glasses, not even a good thank you when checking out.
