Ams Suites - Amsterdam

I was really impressed by AMS suites--a real find, hidden in the heart of Amsterdam. On the whole, everything was great: a large, comfortable room very simply outfitted with a huge bathroom and a wonderful view on to gardens. The stairs are perfectly fine IF you are used to climbing sheer inclines with baggage--but caveat emptor! This should be described […] on the website more clearly: if you are on the third floor, it's a long walk straight up, tiny steps. All of this is typical for Amsterdam, but not a pleasant encounter with bags....A few minor comments: the bathroom floors are incredibly slick when wet, a problem easily solved by bathmats (please!), and the coffee machine is not a good way to make tea (yuck!), and the cookies are definitely not the same quality as the lodgings. Fab location and great to be able to get the bus direct from the airport with only a 5 minute walk at the end. The suites are like having your apartment in Amsterdam. Although the 45 stairs are steep it's well worth it. We found the place easy to find. Try Greenwoods cafe for thee most amazing eggs benedict and cream tea (odd to be eating such a divine […] one in Amsterdam!) and La Perla pizza's to take away are fantastic and you watch it all being made in front of you. Brasserie Vlaming is great for a more upmarket meal and is reasonably priced for such quality of food and wine. Ann Franke's house is a 5 minute walk but I strongly suggest you purchase tickets prior to going as the queue's are horrendous. We went at 9.30pm (open late over Easter weekend) and it was perfect! The only thing that would have put the finishing touch to the Ams Suites are a kettle and fresh milk (there is a fridge there) and an iron and ironing board. Other than that I can't fault the suite/comfort/location - just perfect and I really hope one day I/we will return to them. Devamı

Large, clean, very well presented and comfy. We managed to find the suits easily and didn't take too long to walk from the train station. On arrival we received a free upgrade due to some maintenance on the room we had booked and WOW what a room! The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. This was truly a unique and pleasureable experience. The electronic locking system is easy and secure. My room was nicely decorated. Everything was a plus. The only exception is the hotel needs to install a shower cady. The shower has no place to place your products. That is literally the only complaint we had with this place. Kjempestort og stilig rom! Fint bad med regndusj. Ekspressomaskin. Ams Suites er også veldig sentralt. Hadde det ikke vært for de livsfarlige trappene med trappetrinn tilsvarende størrelse 32 i barnesko, så hadde de fått full pott! Siden vi uheldigvis bodde i 3 etasje var det jo 3 sett med livsfarlige trapper! Med stor bagasje var det litt stress å […] komme seg opp og ned. Men hvis du ikke er redd trapper, så anbefales Ams Suites på det varmeste angående pris og rom! Devamı

AMS Suites liegt ca. 5 min Fußweg von der nächsten Straßenbahnstation entfernt und somit sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für alle Unternehmungen. Das Zimmer wunderschön und geräumig, der Zimmerservice muss noch ein wenig sein Augenmerk verbessern, aber das tat dem ganzen keinen Abbruch. Wir würden AMS Suites jederzeit wieder buchen.

Vi var mere end tilfreds med dette ophold og vil meget gerne vende tilbage. Vi gik fra værelset til centrum på ca. 8 min. Super skønt. Der er desværre ingen kanal udsigt som det kan ligne på billederne. Men kan kun anbefales.

maravillosa habitacion, un ventanal increible, buena ubicacion. El único problema es la escalera de acceso, muy empinada, no apta parab personas con alguna dificultad para caminar o personas mayores. Muy buena atención de los managers.
