Ayara Kamala Resort & Spa - Phuket

Great place to relax, staff fantastic with the food and spa being of a high standard. Check to see if the construction across the road is still happening as there is a bit of noise. Also the hotel need to improve the frequency of the free shuttle service to Kamala Beach to more than twice a day.

Overall a good experience. Depending on what you're looking for, I'd say Ayara Kamala is best for those we prefer to stay in and enjoy a quiet weekend within the hotel premise. Its hillside location provides a great view of ocean below. The pool is also an excellent way to spend the afternoon. There's also a nice spa service and apparently a private […] beach which we didn't realize till on our way to the airport. As for things to consider, I can think of three items. One, the location is not the most convenient. You'll need to hire hotel car to get around. Transportation by far was our biggest expensive for the weekend getaway. Two, our room had a hint of cigarette smoke. Three, bathroom wall doesn't go all the way to the ceiling. While that doesn't seem like a big deal, just picture if you need to do your "business"...imagine the sound and smell...hope you're that comfortable with whoever you're traveling with. Devamı

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, alot of room with a great seating area, but TV is too small and cannot be used from seating area. The sofa seating is also a bit too firm for a long seating time, but the bathroom is comfortable. The in-room private pool is an excellent facility, and the hotel is generally well kept. Due to the inaccessibility of […] the hotel, it is a bit inconvinient and their shops only offers souveniers. They should also include things such as flip-fops or swimming suits. It also lack choices for dinning, and the kitchen can do with more improvements. Food varieties is limited and I think they can also do with better in-room dinning. I think they should also offer more shuttles to the beach. Hotel spa was average, but it was a great value and the atmosphere were comfortable. While the hotel has a few drawbacks, overall it offers great values and has a great atmosphere and definately a great stay for me and my wife. Devamı

Very cozzy and comfort small resort with only several villas. The villas are spacious especially the bathrooms. However, the hot water was a bit weak. And the Hotel entrance was very difficult to find.

The room was very nice and spacious. Beware of the private beach they mention. The beach is not a place you can swim at. Also the hotel is not close to any other restuarants and the hotel restuarant and spa was very expensive.

the hotel was pretty much what we saw in the pictures - which is a big deal considering how often one can feel cheated from promo shots! we particularly liked that it was low-season, and the place was quiet and tranquil. though we did think the hotel staff could have been more flexible in upgrading us to a better room rather than making us wait for […] hours to clean our room (considering there was only a occupancy of 30%). that said, service was generally warm and good. loved the buffet (which was varied for both asian and western tastes) but did not appreciate how close the pool was to the restuarant. the pool was pretty spectacular, but it was all spoilt by the smells of foods coming in and hotels guests breakfasting pretty much next to you during morning swims, the space in the bathroom was generous and the shower facilities were great. though the furnishings are not exactly the most modern. We had a problem with water and drain in shower asked them to fixed but they couldn't.

带着孩子在阿拉亚住了三天，酒店的工作人员很热情，服务也很到位，餐饮不贵，泳池别墅的景致无敌，唯一遗憾的就是，别墅里蚂蚁太多，吃的东西不能放在外面，否则一分钟不到就会吸引蚂蚁过来

今回、旦那と一緒に４泊しました。ホテル自体は、とてもいい！ ロケーションも朝食も部屋も使い心地がよくて、満足。 バイクさえあれば、どこに行くのも便利で、気持ちよく静かに過ごせる。 ただ・・・当たり前のサービスができないスタッフにビックリさせられるばかり。 特にチェックインの際に対応した女性は最悪で、いきなり嫌な思いを させられた。 何を聞いても、ダメ、できない、ただの意地悪にしか受取れない態度が、ただただ 残念だった。 感じのいいスタッフはいたけど、接客というのには程遠いですね！ バンコクのホテルにも、去年行ったサムイのホテルにも、こんなスタッフはいなかったと思います。 あまりアクティブでない方には、絶対にオススメできないホテルです。
