OURAY VICTORIAN INN - Ouray

I was very impressed with this hotel. We are regulars to Ouray and usually stay at another hotel down the street. This trip was on the off season, however, and our normal hotel was shut down. We tried the Victorian Inn, not knowing much about it, but were very pleasantly surprised. The owners took time to have a nice chat with us over breakfast, and […] again before we left. Comfortable place. Walk to Box Canyon, Ice Park, Perimeter Trail. Walk to restaurants for dinner.

This was our first trip to Ouray Co. The Victorian Inn was an excellent choice to stay. Room was large, clean, the owner was very helpful. Breakfast was good. You won't be disappointed by staying here.

it was an older motel but kept very clean. the only down was the noisy pipes

Large clean rooms, close to the river. Very,very nice.

This hotel facility is a little dated, but I like that. The hotel is very well kept, and has a lot of character. My wife, two kids and I stayed in the fairly roomy family suite, which could have accommodated 5. The rear balcony and window faced the river, and we kept the window open at night and enjoyed its sounds. The location is one block off the […] edge of downtown, close enough for walking, but far enough to be quietly out of the traffic of the one main street in this town. The hotel is only a quarter mile from the Box Canyon Falls Park, a town-operated park that features a spectacular waterfall. It costs $4 for adults to enter, but well worth the price. Take both the short walk to the bottom of the falls and the longer uphill hike to the top. Most of the waterfall is hidden in the rock it has eroded, but the glimpses of it show its power. In the winter, it freezes up and becomes an ice climbing site that attracts climbers from far away. At the top, you can also enter the scenic perimeter hiking trail that encircles the entire town. The hotel proprietors are extremely friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed Ouray a lot for its quiet beauty, quaint town and friendly people. Devamı

Nice hotel. Very clean and friendly owners. Very pet friendly. Walls are thin and ask for a second story room. Otherwse you will the noise above you. Great breakfast.

I was thoroughly impressed, the views were awesome if you like listening to the sound of running water this is the place, slept like a log. Great customer service

Everything this hotel offered was wonderful.Clean,neat,great breakfast,confortable beds. They also have hot tubs.While lounging in them cocktailing with a glass of wine looking at snow covered mountains..Awesome... A 5 star place.!!!!!!! We will go back....

Quaint little hotel. Rooms were smallish and slightly dated. Beds and bathrooms had been upgraded, but the in-room sofa looked like it had seen much better days. The hot tub area was relaxing and clean. The hotel owners were very friendly and offered a well appointed breakfast selection. Had great time. We were on a motorcycle trip during this stay. The owners couldn't do enough. They gave us a great place to ride to and good places to eat at. They even gave old towels so that the motorcycle could be washed.

The Ouray (your-a) Victorian Inn was a great base-camp for a long weekend getaway. The rooms were pretty basic but served our needs. The staff was friendly and had a lot of good advice on things to do in the area. The 4 rating on the 'condition of the hotel' was given because our refrigerator wasn't working and had to be replaced. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful location. Priced right for the area.

We spent one night at the Ouray Victorian Inn. We are a family of four on a roadtrip through southwestern Colorado. Ouray is beautiful and this hotel was perfect. The setting is amazing with mountains on all sides. The hotel itself is very open and clean. We stayed in one of the suites with a balcony. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. […] The continental breakfast in the morning was nice and we had our fill of pastries, waffles, eggs, coffee, and cereal. My daughters liked the variety at breakfast. The night before, we walked to the brewery from our hotel for a beer and appetizer and then walked to dinner - it was all very convenient and easy. Durango was booked so we drove into Ouray for the night. This hotel was clean with very comfy beds. Even better the manager waited up till 11p for our arrival, even though the office closes at 9p. For a discount hotel, you really can't go wrong.
