Room 18 great shower and quiet good night sleep.new part of building. Room 6 wedding room old part of building shower poor.water luke warm.noisy . Food great.

Stayed here for 1 night as got a better price than nearby chain hotels. On arrival about 7pm the place seemed deserted. I had to ask somebody in the kitchen if there were any reception staff around. Was shown where my room was, despite having several bags there was no offer to help with them. The receptionist took me to the bottom of the stairs, and […] pointed "It's up there". Room itself was clean but very tired and poorly furnished. Bathroom was high point, clean and well presented. At breakfast again there was nobody around, after 10 minutes I went to ask at the kitchen again. Overall a disappointing experience. Looks the sort of place that would have been lovely a few years ago, but now very dated. Staff were nice when you could actually find one ! Devamı

We've never stayed in a hotel in England where the taps in the bathroom say not to drink the water and you are expected to buy water to drink. We, and most of our fellow guests, were there because there was a conference for stroke victims and partners nearby and the dinner was to be at this hotel, so it seemed easiest to be on site. I'm sure it wasn't […] the hotel's fault that, actually, there are no disabled facilities - there is no lift and the staircase to the upper rooms only has a rail on one side. Unfortunately, the restaurant was shut the night before the dinner and for breakfast on the day, so the room could be got ready. Not easy for those staying there - they had to eat in the bar for those meals. I seem to remember the internet blurb says the restaurant seats 30 - there were 44 people at the dinner, half of whom because of their strokes were "paralised* down one side or the other. There was also another function that evening in the larger entertainment space that meant the "executive rooms" had to wait until midnight for peace and quiet. The waiting staff were great, the manager/owner?( aka Faulty Towers) quirky. Looking at the environs, it must have been a great location a while ago. Devamı

Found room very comfy...but ridiculously noisy aircon,which we got turned off;and thunderous disco,which finished at midnight as promised-but ask if theres a party before you book if you want early night

We selected the hotel based on the proximity to the family party we had travelled down to attend. Hotel was in a very quiet location with a small but enclosed garden that looked very pleasant. The staff were very pleasant although there was a little confusion when trying to find our reservation. We were taken to our room which was adequate for our needs. […] The matresses were old and well worn making the bed a little uncomfortable and we had problems with the toilet seat falling off on a number of occasions. TV signal was poor. The immediate location around the hotel did not look like the type of area I would feel comfortable walking around. Overall the hotel struck me as tired and in need of some attention. However, the cooked breakfast was excellent and was probably one of the best hot breakfasts I have had at all of the hotels I have stayed at. Devamı

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 1 night. It was a little hard to get to from the train station for us, but after we got a cab, it was fine. That,however was the only thing that we could say about our stay that was difficult. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were also very attentive to us. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. We […] also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was just wonderful. We didn't get to see much of the town the hotel was in, but the countryside near there is very beautiful and relaxing. If you come by train, be prepared to call a cab, but otherwise, this is a very nice place to stay and well worth what you pay. Devamı
