Older hotel with great character and location. We really enjoyed our multi-day stay and they even had free laundry.

We've stayed here a number of times, partly owing to reasonable pricing and a good location (if one has a car), and partly because it seems warmer and more "Pasadena" than some of the newer chains. Room decor is cosy and there are always some miscellaneous books -- usually at least one that piques our interest. Pasadena City College is just across the […] street, and walking a few blocks west on Colorado brings you first to Daisy Mint (south side of street), a very fresh and tasty Thai/Asian restaurant -- take out or eat in -- and then in another block, to Book Alley, a really wonderful used book store that tends to be open late and has a large, well-tended stock. Saga isn't fancy, and the staff work hard all day and into the evening on cleaning and laundry work. So if you stay, DO tip them! Devamı

Very cool "Motor Lodge". Nice grounds, well maintained and very friendly staff. Will stay there again!

A classic oldie but goodie, well run and maintained.

Excellent location, price and service. A very pleasant place to stay.

I stayed here and added days to my stay because it was so comfortable and convieniently located. I stayed with my two young teenagers and they love dthe pool. The staff was really helpful and I will stay here again!

This is a really 'cool" boutique hotel. Right across Pasadena City College. The price was right and the pool is heated. The towels are so soft and smell so good..and get this they wash their bedspreads..i actually saw them washing the bedspreads. so awesome!!!!!! the continental breakfast is good and they have peanut butter.. the parking is great and […] the staff is nice..it was cool and on Saturday morning i could hear the P.C.C band practicing it was really cool..this is a hidden gem..forget the big chain hotels this is the place to stay. This was a very cute retro hotel. Very clean and a fun place to stay!!

We stayed for one night, the room was big, bathroom very clean. Breakfast a more generous version of motel breakfast we had seen on the road thus far. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem was a poor wifi reception in our room, but it worked fine by the pool!

good location within walking distance to a lot shops and restaurent, price is good

This is an amazing "old school" motel. The towering palm trees around the pool (that is heated to a nicely floaty 80 degrees) are soooo So Cal. Sad that the pool is locked from dark till 9 am; it would have really been nice to swim when you get back at night. PCC is across the street and their carillion sounds off every hour. The lower level king room […] adjacent to the pool was huge. The nicest staff is very responsive to your needs. Continental breakfast is same old same old but the apples were very crunchy and satisfying. Convenient parking and an elevator to the stacked three story rooms in the back. The neighborhood quiets down at night. Bed was very comfortable. My only negative was a very dim 25 watt light bulb on the bedside lamp. Impossible to read by. Devamı

We have stayed in many vintage motels across the country (including all over Route 66) and the Saga is one of the best-kept, cleanest, and friendliest we have ever encountered. Great place all around. And thank you so very much for keeping those fantastic mosaics and unique architectural details intact! We will definitely be back.

I had confirmed with the hotel that i might be late getting in--as it was I didn't get in until 12:36--the Inn's door was locked. But, upon ringing on the door bell the gentleman answered the door and had been waiting for my arrival. This is service. Not only that--a continental breakfast was included which made a long previous day wonderful

great location , staff, pool, the carpet needs to be changed ,otherwise good value

Great location, easy access to restaurants and sites. Especially good location if using public transportation.

I would encourage everyone who visits Pasadena to stay here for a "Blast from the Past". Very visible during The Tournament of Roses Parade every January 1st. Staff friendly and accommodating. My room was very comfortable and the location is close to very good eateries and within walking distance to convenience stores. Would I stay here again? Definitely […] without hesitation. Devamı
