not good. the room did not have a working phone or heater.

The building and room look nothing like the pictures online. The room was suppose to be ready at 3:00pm. It was not ready still at 6:00pm when we arrived. The fridge in the room was dirty, crumbs, and stinked. There was urine in the toilet and on the seat. The sheets looked used. The hot tub was broke. The carpets worn down and stained. The hotel room was clean, and the building was pretty quiet. 2 things I didn't like: the glass door to our hallway was broken (it looked like someone kicked it), and even though the building is non-smoking, our hallway smelled like pot. If you don't expect too much from this hotel, you won't be let down. If you're looking for a cheap place to crash […] then it's ok, but next time I'll pay the little extra and stay somewhere better. The hotel was somewhat isolated. I saw a roach in my room which made me feel gross. I then tried to use the phone to call the front dest and NO dial tone.....only to realize that the phone cord had been pulled out of the back of the phone.....hmmmmmmm what was that all about? As i moved the night stand to pick up the cord that was unplugged and fallen […] on the floor, there were all kinds of crumbs, food pieces, and just nastiness.....it obviously is not cleaned, only surface "look nice" cleaning. The hotel was in a very sketchy part of town and was no where near the location of the event we were attending. I did not feel safe at this location.

The hot tub was dirty the shower had blood and the frieg didnt work over all very disappointed

The rooms are nice the service was lacking. I had asked several times for an iron they had no ironing board and I Never did get the iron

Convenient place to rest our heads on our road trip. The hallways smelled of smoke even though the room was non-smoking. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Terrible! I arrived at the front desk main lobby late in the evening and the hotel had an overall feeling of uncleanliness. Hotel staff was not helpful and had absolutely no regard for their guests.

There were people in the rooms around us that were extremely intoxicated and when we called the front desk they did nothing. it was clean and a place to sleep but would not go back!

Not so good. I have had better accommodations in third world countries. I don't think they are ready yet to serve the business traveler.

Hotel was under construction. It had 2 signs up, Days Inn and Elgin Inn kinda confusing. Had a screw in my tire from all the construction. Pool wasn't open, vending machines were empty. The room itself was nice and clean but the overall experience was pretty bad. Construction debris everywhere, you needed a dust mask to get to your room. We stayed at the Elgin Inn (now Days Inn) this past weekend. The hotel is under MAJOR construction right now. The room we got(king) was BAEUTIFUL! New everything. Area is convieniently off of I-90. Staff was pleasant and well dressed.We will stay here agian without question!

Arrived at the hotel late at night, and immediately realized this was not a good place to stay. The only reason we even booked at a two star hotel was do to the age restriction of the surrounding neighborhoods you must be 21 to check in, elgin inn allows 18+. At check in i was charged a fee for the two nights and had some question with it however paid […] anyways, turns out i got charged by hotels.com and the hotel, thankfully the next morning i was able to work this out. The room, looked like it hadnt been swept, there was an odor, and the sliding glass doors to the "patio" were mildewy and im not even sure they locked. When i attempted to turn on the tv i picked up the remote and the tv guide came with it, turns out the remote had a piece of gum attached to it. The bathroom ceiling paint was chipped. The bathroom also had one of those old fashioned razor blade disposal holes in the wall, which i found very convenient as i always use a 30 year old disposable rusty razor to do my shaving with. Basically if you have no other choice but to stay in this hotel, its better to park at a gas station and sleep in your car than here. On the upside when i woke up and went to my car i had expected someone to have broken into it and shockingly no one had. I originally booked two nights here but opted to find somewhere else the second night... anywhere was better. Devamı

Aparência externa do hotel não é muito boa, é um hotelzinho razoável de estrada, os corredores tem um cheiro muito forte de cigarro, inclusive o quarto, mas depois de abrir a janela e trocar o ar interno, melhorou. O conforto do quarto é regular, tem uma cama confortável e um banheiro razoável. A limpeza é muito boa e o atendimento foi muito bom, os […] recepcionistas são simpáticos e educados como todos os atendentes da região do estado de Illinois. A localização é fácil, quem estiver de carro tem que ter um TOLL PASS de pedágio ou muitas moedas trocadas pois os pedágios de Chicago (50mim) e do aeroporto O'Hare (30mim) dirigindo até lá, não tem atendentes. Atenção, não passa ônibus nas proximidades, tem um Walmart e um Outlet próximo, mas passa por mais um pedágio (sem atendentes), para chegar lá. Minha avaliação geral para o hotel é boa para quem tem algo a fazer nas proximidades, quem quer visitar Chicago tem que dirigir 50 minutos, 2 pedágios e um engarrafamento diário para entrar na cidade. Ficaria hospedado lá mais uma vez. Devamı
