The Carousel Beach Inn is located just a couple of miles from Times Square in Ft. Myers Beach. The Inn looks like a small motel in the middle of high-rise condominiums and hotels, but don't let the outside deceive you. This hotel is right on a fantastic large beach. My friends visited us for the evening will come there next year. We just might as well. Most fantastic spot around for a very reasonable price.

We were so pleased with this gem on the beach.Clean,friendly,quiet,pet friendly,beautiful view of the beach and the gulf......I can not say enough great things about this place! I will definitly be going back...Awesome!

Couldn't ask for better. Could see the beach and water from the room. Chairs furnished for sunbathing or lounging by the pool. Food restaurants were within walking distance. I give this a 5+. One small item,,,growing mold on shower curtin and was replaced within an hour! We are booked for Dec 2012, Jan and Feb 2013.

My fiance and I went down to Fort Myers Beach as our Christmas gift to each other. Neither of us had been there before, so it was a crap shoot as to whether or not the city and lodging would meet our expectations. I can honestly say they both exceeded what we thought we might encounter. The city is sandwiched between bodies of water with restaurants, […] shops, and various types of lodging stretching from one end of the island to the other. The beaches are beautiful and vast, but not at all crowded. The inn itself was fabulous. It's an older building, but well cared for, with newer furnishings, comfortable bedding, a great location, a competent cleaning crew, and pleasant office staff. They had all the comforts of home: a loveseat, flat screen tv, kitchenette with dishes (including wine glasses and a corkscrew), and plentiful towels. We didn't stay in one of the beachside rooms, yet we could see the gulf and the white-sand beach from our door. (The sand is the softest you will ever walk on by the way.) The second night of our stay, in view of the inn, under the light of a full moon, mere feet from the surf of the gulf, he got down on one knee and slipped a ring on my finger. I would like to start off by saying that I searched countless websites for the best deal. I was traveling solo and was on a budget. Hotels.com saved me and they offered the most comprehensive (and simplistic) list of hotels, reviews, and EXCELLENT prices. Now as for the Carousel Inn I absolutely adore it! The location is perfect-directly off the beach. […] The room was huge, it reminded me of a studio apartment. The service was accomodating and the place is very clean.
