HYATT house Charlotte/Center City - Charlotte

Nice stay adjacent to TWC Arena. Reasonable walking distance to Mecklenburg Aquatic Center. Transportation hub 1 short block away. Charlotte smells nice, like waffles.

Just know we will be back..5 stars

went here to have a girls night out and be able to walk to the Epicenter, which this place is great for! Very clean, modern hotel. We just made the mistake of being placed by an elevator the night before St. Patty's. Apparently lots of familys stay downtown the night before a parade so they can walk to it with their kids. We were awaken by kids starting […] around 6, NO BUENO! The pullout sofa isn't very comfortable, not horrible...just not the best. FORMIDABLE! When the first word that comes to mind is a French superlative, I was obviously impressed. The new concept by Hyatt House is super. The only thing I would improve is the elevator card readers- one must nearly raise one little finger just so, spit on one's hand, firmly engage tongue in left cheek, insert the room key, count three nonoseconds […] and remove room key (magnetic card) and then wait through a couple of seconds to get a green light and then press your floor button. The security is fine, but its implementation mechanics fall short of the mark. Devamı

I had read some reviews of this hotel and I have to say our stay far exceeded my expectations. Pleasant staff, quality room, everything you might need and a breakfast that was made to order. The valet service had some questionable reviews so that had us worried, but we found the valet service to be timely and helpful. Very nice with all the comforts clean comfortable and courteous staff with knowledge of the area. would highly reccomend

The management of this hotel is FAR from willing to work with you on needs for change regarding bookings. An error was made and they were unwilling to simply move the date and failed to refund any portion of the money.

Hotel is really great. A little strange that the room elevators are the same as the garage elevators - even though you need a key to access most floors, it seems like anyone can get on the elevator - thus access the hotel. The hotel is in very nice condition, rooms, hallways, great breakfast each morning. Very nice staff. My only gripe was that the […] TV was kept fading in and out with local stations and front desk thought is was the cable company's problem - although the bar tv's had perfect reception. And, the garage / elevator access thing. The downtown area of Charlotte is getting really seedy - not many police and lots of vagrants... Friendy staff isn't the biggest issue, its just nice, and certainly something you would expect from a Hyatt. The young guys out front doing valet and bringing in bags worked their butts off and had a cheery smile and made conversation. The women behind the desk looked mad, didn't smile, and generally didn't seem very eager to help. Had nothing to do […] with their gender obviously, just the people working. The front desk could use better staff. Also I wish there was a rating for amenities. Their pool deserves a 0 out of 5... its the size of some hot tubs. My fiancé and I joked that we should go walk in the pool our first night. Its too shallow to even swim. Devamı

GOOD LOCATION TO ATTEND CONFERENCES AT THE CONVENTION CENTER

Our first stay at this hotel was the first week it opened under Hotel Sierra, almost a year ago! My daughter and I were in love with it. The service and hotel is phenomenal. My only complaint with the hotel is that being situated wherre it is, my daughter and I felt a little uncomfortable walking by the bus station getting to our hotel. Located next to Time Warner Arena it was easy to get to off of the main interstate. It was also within walking distance of everything in uptown Charlotte including several bars and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was great! New construction so everything was very modern. Lots of great views from our room(15th floor) The pool area was […] a great place to lounge, the pool itself is a little small. Could not ask for more amenities! We did not want to pay $22.00 per night for valet parking so we choose a lot across the street that had self parking for $5.00 per 12 hours. Devamı

Never have I ever seen anything so disgusting. The hotel manager has the nerve to say he's never seen anything like this and all he offers is two free drinks at the bar! This won't be the last bad review this hotel gets. David the manager acted as disgusted but only to offer free drinks!

The hotel is fantastic with great service and updated rooms. The staff is great as well. Parking is valet and costs $22.00. The area around the hotel gets a bit sketchy at night due to a bus depot two blocks away. There are a significant number of penhandlers and homeless individuals so be careful

I was in town for a few days for a work event and was really surprised at how great my stay was at Hyatt House. The room was absolutely beautiful. As well as clean and very comfy. The staff was great, especially the valet guys, they were very speedy and extremely polite. Next time I'm in Charlotte, I wouldn't stay anywhere else! I highly recommend!

BEST HOTEL VALUE ANYWHERE...ROOMS ARE NICELY DECORATED AND VERY LARGE.

Phenomenal staff!!! Great location, About a block from the EpiCenter. Wonderful breakfast, which was included in the price. The only additional charge was for valet parking, the only option available at the notel, but worth it. Would definitely stay there again!!

Excellent service and staff especially in the lounge. They all knew the great places to go to experience charlotte.

Nice Hotel. I'd stay again.

Beautiful modern hotel, great rooms, bar, breakfast and location. We are from charlotte but like to stay downtown sometimes..we will never stay anywhere else but here from now on. Pool deck was AMAZING!!!!!

My wife and I went to watch the Chicago Bulls play the Charlotte Bobcats for my 40th birthday. The hotel was just a half a block away and was within a short walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel room was beautiful. We chose the king size suite and we loved large room with kitchen, living area and big screen TV. We also enjoyed […] the complementary breakfast and 12 p.m. check out time. This hotel is the perfect location if you are visiting the Time Warner Arena. Literally right next door. The room was extremely cozy. We loved the breakfast buffet and the dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in a long time. Stayed in a King suite with a sofa bed. Room was very large and even had a full kitchen. Location was very nice.. My only complaint is with the parking. The hotel only offers valet parking. i really think they should have an option for the guests. also when you arrive you have to pull over onto […] a small brick area to wait for valet which is not marked at all. I had to circle the block twice and then call the hotel to ask them where i needed to pull in. also on the day i checked out we had to wait almost 25 minutes for my car. Devamı

The vallet service was horrible. Had to wait 45 minutes for them to bring our car. The hotel was great other than that.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The bed and linens were soft, clean, and comfortable. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was freshly made and delicious. We will definitely stay here again!!

I was very pleasantly surprised to find this hotel, comfortable, with lovely decor and helpful staff. Great for business travel. I was able to walk to my customer meeting.
