Comfort Inn & Suites - Fort Smith

This hotel was refreshingly pleasant. It was clean and well decorated. The breakfast bar was really nice--a notch above others. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a really nice, comfortable, and very clean hotel. They have a managers reception each evening with snacks and drinks, and a good breakfast each morning. The rooms are modern, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Area neighborhood felt safe. All the employees were very friendly and willing to help should you need it. A friend and I made reservation around a month prior to our visit for an upsized room with 2 queen beds, the reservations were for Best Western. We received our confirmation, then a verification of the reservation about a week prior to our visit. Never was it mentioned that this was no longer a Best Western Inn & Suites. We had trouble locating the […] hotel, because we did not know the name had changed. When we called to find directions, we were told we were being "upgraded" due to the inconvenience. When we arrived, we were given a "king" suite (that was the only available rooms at the hotel). My friend and I were not happy with one king sized bed and a fold out sofa, but we had to have a place to stay. As it turned out, it seems our room was given to members of a baseball league in town for the weekend. I am livid about being pushed to the side and made feel very unimportant when we made out reservations well in advance. I will also be submitting a review to Best Western with my problems with the way this was handled. When I travel I always stay at Best Western, but if this is the way they conduct their business, I will be rethinking my devotion to their chain. I have never been treated in this manner when travelling, and will not settle for less than I paid for from a hotel. The room was not suitable for two female travelers. The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel of any name. The bed was very comfortable, but if you are not used to sharing the bed, it make the entire night uncomfortable. The desk person was very friendly and was doing her job in a pleasant manner. She is not responsible for the hotel not following through on the reservation. She did fine. Devamı
