This is a very fine hotel, perfectly located in Leipzig. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spacious. The staff were very helpful. We requested a change of room after the first night because we could not access WiFi from our first room (that overlooked the 'courtyard' - that is really the roof of the central atrium). We were also surprised to find […] ham wrapped in a paper napkin in our fridge. The staff were very receptive to our concerns and changed us to a lovely room with a view of Nikolaikirche and very fast wireless internet. Would happily stay again. Devamı

"Luxury hotel in the middle of town"
Elegant hotel with perfect service in the historic center.
"Check Directions Before You Go"
This hotel couldn't be better -- we wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect service; perfect location; and beautiful, comfortable, spotless rooms. Just make sure you have good directions before you go. The area immediately surrounding the Steigenberger Grandhotel Handelshof in Leipzig has been turned into walking streets only and Satzgaesschen is […] a tiny street. As of October 2011, your GPS will not understand all that. After we had a terrible, stressful time finding our way and while we were checking in, we heard the staff in Reception receiving calls from frustrated travellers trying to get to the hotel. "room for improvement"
Several smaller issues: * small sofa not comfortable. * no instruction for obscure coffee machine. * despite request no newspaper delivery. * no infor re TV channels and programs. * decore is severe and unfriendly.
"Great hotel and location"
Maybe it's not surprising that such a hotel would get a high review. Keep in mind that I don't usually stay at very high-end hotels. Staff was great and very accommodating. The location is probably the best you can get while in Leipzig. If there is one thing I would ask for, it would be a radio alarm clock. "Zentrale Stadtlage von vielerlei Vorteilen"
Hotel-Info-Mappe im Zimmer war nicht vollständig und teilweise verschmiert. Die automatische Auffüllung der Minibar muß nicht unbedingt um 8 Uhr morgens erfolgen. Der eine oder andere Gast möchte -gerade bei einer Messeveranstaltung- vielleicht morgens länger ausschlafen. Wenn gegen 12 Uhr check-out-Zeit ist, so sollte für eine vorübergehende Personalreserve […] gesorgt werden. Es bleibt kein guter Eindruck, wenn 2 Mitarbeiter neben der Abrechnung Telefondienst erledigen, Auskünfte über in Urlaub befindliche Mitarbeiter geben und vor dem Counter warten 5 Gäste darauf, ihre Rechnung bezahlen zu dürfen. "Uitstekend!"
Zeer centraal gelegen in hartje Leipzig. Alles op loopafstand. Ook het prachtige treinstation. Het hotelpersoneel is gastvrij en de bediening voorbeeldig. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Het ontbijt is niet goedkoop. De spa is opgetrokken uit nieuwe materialen, biedt drie sauna's en de rustkamers zijn comfortabel. Een aanrader.

phantastisches Hotel
"Zentraler geht nicht"
Hotel liegt mitten in der City an der Fußgängerzone. Ideal zum Shoppen gehen. Nachteil : Hotel hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz oder Tiefgarage. Muss woanders mit Parkservice abgestellt werden für EUR 25.00 die Nacht. Tipp : Schräg gegenüber gibt es einen öffentlichen Parkplatz für € 14,00/pro 24H parken.

Ich kann diese Hotel nur bestens empfehlen. es leigt an bester Lage und der Service ist wirklich ausgezeichnet. Ich werde - wenn in Leipzig - sicher wieder das Steigenberger wählen!

Sehr gelungene Renovierung, geschmackvolle Inszenierung des alten Gebäudes und der Goethe- und Bücherstadtgeschichte. Tolles spa, super Restaurant, sehr schöne Zimmer! Fürstenhof hat jetzt ein Problem, nämlich kräftig Konkurrenz - vielleicht belebend?
