Ibis Paris Gare du Nord Chateau Landon 10ème - Paris

We needed a place to sleep for one night between flights. We wanted a place that was walking distance to a train station that was a reasonably short ride to CDG airport. For that specific purpose, it was OK, but only for people with a fairly high tolerance for sketchiness. To be fair, the place was clean, the bathroom was modern, and everything appeared […] to be in working order. We even had a beautiful view of Sacre Coeur (between the roof antennas of the neightboring buildings), once we opened the grimy curtains (although the rest of the room was clean, the curtains were just plain gross). Nevertheless, "creepy" is the kindest adjective I can use to describe this place. Although clean and apparently freshly painted, the room is something that I would picture in old East Germany. The carpet looked sort of like felt (I wore shoes or socks at all times). The hallway looked like a prison. No one should spend more than one night (preferrably less than 24 hours) in this hotel. Most importantly, the neighborhood can best be described as seedy. And dirty. Lots of trash in the streets and sidewalks. A few sex shops. We walked to the hotel from Gare du Nord at about 8:00 pm (and back again in the morning), which was an easy 10-minute walk. Although I'm a confident and adventurous traveler, I did not want to spend any more time than absolutely necessary in this neighborhood. I did not feel threatened, but I was definitely uncomfortable walking in this neighborhood. I think a lot of people would have been scared. And it is NOT a place for kids. Bottom line: This place is just barely OK if (1) you only need a place to sleep for one night, (2) you're not squeamish about the seedy neighborhood, and (3) you're not traveling with the kids. If you don't meet those criteria, you should look in an entirely different area because no other hotel in this one is any better. Devamı

Very good hotel. Good accessibility to Gare du Nord. Welcoming reception and very helpful. Rooms clean and spacious. Lovely cotton bed linen too. Very good value for money.

Good location near Gare de Nord and clean. If you want to save money and need to stay close to Gare de Nord this is a good option.

Very convenient to Gare du Nord Train Station--10 to 15 minutes walking.

We have stayed at this hotel three times. The location is good, staff are pleasant, rooms are comfortable, although I would recommend that you request a quiet location at the back of the hotel. Breakfasts are excellent value with a superb choice. Our room was clean and the free Wifi much appreciated.
