For the price paid, the overall value was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable - the bed was very firm but not too bad. Very close to the airport with a free shuttle (email beforehand for them to pick you up). No elevator in the hotel, but the staff will carry your bags upstairs. There is a small restaurant in the hotel and several local food […] restaurants within a 2 block radius. no fridge in the room, no elevator, but that do not disappoint us at all ... hotel staffs are very helpful & polite ...

Having stayed in Malaysia for a good while, I'd say this hotel is better than average. The location really wasn't as bad as some reviewers have said...again, perhaps experience in Malaysia softens a review. My huge problem, and it was the only problem really...was a juvenile cockroach I saw (and killed) in my room. Yes, you see them at night all the […] time near the sewers outside, but this was the first time I saw one inside. It scrambled when I turned on the light, a good sign... it's when they just sit there after you turn the light on you know there's a major problem. I never saw any more after I killed the one, but the hotel should probably make sure it's cleaning up trash from previous guests (trash=food crumbs, etc). It is an older hotel in an industrial area. We landed, ate, slept and left at 0500 the next day, so it was fine for that purpose.

2 year old hotel quite close to the airport with a friendly personel. Rooms are small but clean, tidy and everything works well. During my stay WiFi didn't work 100% of time and had some breaks. One shouldn't wait a breakfast buffé, but breakfast included gives you a good start for a day. Airplane noise can disturb someone but at least I got a good […] and silent night there. The CBH is strategically located near the airport. The room is clean, however, you cannot open the window's curtain coz people can see you easily. The rate is relatively economical compared with other hotels nearby. Kind staff.

The room was small but clean and safe, and very very near to KK airport thus avoiding the gridlock of central KK. No frills but what do you expect at this price?

I would term this property more of a budget hotel than anything else. Room is crampy and small. Don't be deceived by the picture. Considering the location and facilities offered, room is over priced. Should be below the RM100 bracket. Management ought to consider offering smoking and non-smoking rooms.

My husband and I needed to stay in KK for one night for our onward flight to Sandakan. We chose Crowne Borneo because of its close location to the airport and because of the good review by other travellers. We found there is no elevator int he hotel. The room was a bit small and as a result, the current from the air-conditioner was blowing directly […] on our faces when we were in bed. We also found to our surprise that the tap water was dark brown. When we checked with the reception, we were told that there was some maintenance work. So we were not able to take a shower and resort to use mineral water to brush our teeth that night. Having said, the hotel staff were friendly and the services were good. Personal Touch, Favourable.

The staff are the most helpful & friendly people I have had the pleasure to meet for a while. I stayed quite a while & although the hotel is a little further out of K.K, it is closer to the beach & local amenities are good enough to have variety. They do have a care that can whisk you into town for a reasonable 15RM.

Great place to stay. Highly recommend it.

Very close to Airport, in fact right over the flight path. So noisey. Not really suitable for long term stay. Not much space to put clothes, so left in Suitcase.

What a nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the hotel really nice. When we were at the airport we just called and got a free pick-up. nice bathroom with lovely rain-shower.

Very good service, Breakfast ok, extremly noise due to the take of and landing of the aircrafts next by. Room had a carpet which wasnt very clean. Bathroom was renovated and clean.

This hotel is about the best value for money that you'll find in Kota Kinabalu. The accommodations were perfectly servicable and the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and offered me rides to and from dinner and the airport free-of-charge. A true find.

The Crown Borneo exceeded my expectations in every way. There was not a question I asked or a service I requested that the staff did not go out of their way to meet. Free WiFi in my room, breakfast included (and it was quite tasty!), airport transfers included, and they helped me book tours and excursions as well. By the second day everyone greeted me by name! And for a nominal fee, the hotel offered drop-off/pick-up services to anywhere I wanted to go. If I returned to KK, I would definitely stay here. great staff and owner. free rides to and from airport. wifi worked fine, breakfast was better than we expected

Staff are extremely nice. The price is reasonable. Its near a mall where you could dine and buy stuff. Dont bring big luggage as to avoid carrying it to your room. No elevator

The hotel provides a friendly atmosphere though my room was a bit crowded. Also some facilities that I expected normally were supplied upon request only. Other packages offered could have been better promoted. The noise of aircraft was surprising and could have been warned. Overall is a comfortable stay

We booked the Crown Borneo based on a glowing review from a previous traveller, the competitive price, and its close proximity to the airport. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help with any questions we had. The room, whilst quite small, was very clean with all the facilities you would expect from a good hotel, including a […] flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. We were offered a free airport transfer upon check-out, and staff were extremely accommodating, offering to prepare our complimentary breakfast at 5:45am (before the kitchen officially opened) to enable us to get to the airport on time, and fed! We loved the 'local feel' in Tanjung Aru, and the ability to source everything we needed within 50m of the hotel doors, including great Roti Canai, cheap beers, supermarket facilities and a much needed massage after climbing Mt Kinabalu! We liked the area so much that we chose to quickly duck back during our 3 hour layover in KK on the way back through to Singapore. Would definitely recommend this hotel! Devamı

I was unable to find reviews written on this location, but I decided to take a chance and book 2 nights there. It was a great decision! We stayed at the beginning and end of our trip in Malaysia and wish we had spent more time there. It is a new hotel and has been open for less than a year. They offered complimentary airport transportation and complimentary […] breakfast and that sounded good to me. However, the first night we stayed, our room did not include a free breakfast. I am unsure why, but we purchased breakfast in the hotel anyway. Service was very good. Everyone was very friendly and this was our first stop in Malaysia so we had an excellent first impression of the country. The front desk staff was excellent along with the bellhop. The hotel manager was also very involved, helpful, and friendly. He carried our bags to and from our room at times and even brought us to the airport in his car when the van was not available. He even served our breakfast the first morning, and makes wonderful eclairs and muffins that are for sale in a display case when you walk in the hotel. I was very impressed. The beach is a short (10-15 minute) walk away and was a great suggestion from the staff of where to get dinner. It has a great vibe and wonderful sunsets. The night market is also right across the street, where you can get all kinds of tasty local food. We had dinner there the first night and enjoyed it. They have free internet and a computer available for guests, which was a godsend for us, as we did not have our own laptop. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice TV on the wall, complimentary bottled water and provisions for making tea and coffee. We found some of the beds to be quite firm but the pillows were very comfortable. I chose the hotel primarily for it's convenience to T2 as I was ariving late in the evening. The location was great, away from the hustle bustle of downtown KK, and close to Tanjung Aru beach. The surrounding neigbour hood was also very enjoyable with lots of good restaurants and a laid back feel. 這是我第二次住The Crown Borneo Hotel。 上一次是Aug, 2011，住宿twin room 印象非常好，服務人員態度親切有禮，房間新穎乾淨衛生。 這次是Feb, 2012，住的是三人家庭房，房間一進去就有霉味，但是空調開一段時間勉強可忍耐。 房間廁所很狹隘，要開門要側身，房內地毯髒汙。 同行另兩人住宿雙人queen room，房間較乾淨氣味也較好 (放了芳香劑定時噴)，衛浴半透明玻璃，整體感和乾淨度就好許多。 機場免費接送服務還是一樣讚，地點離機場非常近。附近的生活機能也很好。 就是飯店的衛生品質下降，需要改進。

場所も場末にあり、周囲の環境もよくない。すくいは、従業員が親切でした。

공항에 밤에 도착하면 25링깃 정도면 갈 수 있습니다 탄중아루에 있는 크라운 보르네오라고 말씀하시면 대부분 알아봅니다 처음 뵈었는데 직원분도 영어소통 잘되고 친절히 대해주셨습 니다 저렴하게 하룻밤 자고 넥서스나 고급 리조 트로 이동하면 좋을 것 같네요(저희는 그렇게 했습니다) 밤에 비행기 소리가 나긴 하지만 예 민하신 분 아니면 괜찮을 것 같습니다 전반적으로 만족합니다~~^^*

위치도 공항에서 5분거리였고 맞은편에 마사지샵도 있고 비치로 가는 길도 10분정도 걸으면 갈 수 있고 무엇보다 호텔에서 3일동안 정말 편하게 잘 지내다 왔습니다. 가격도 저렴하고 강추합니다

乾淨整潔，床鋪舒適。 提供免費機場接送。 雖然沒有電梯，但是服務人員會幫忙提行哩，很適合轉機。

Vi brugte hotellet som overnatning mellem sent aften fly og tidlig morgen fly. Det kan godt anbefales. Servicen er fin og gratis transfer til lufthavnen. Flot!! Hotellet ligger ved lufthavnen og derfor er der en del flytrafik over hotellet, men det var eget valg :o) Det er billigt at spise i området.

低価格なうえに、無料シャトルバス、朝食もついてくるということで選んだホテル。 こじんまりとした造りが、自分の部屋に友達を招いたような感じで逆にくつろげました。 近隣にはスーパーや屋台等もあり、ローカルな雰囲気が楽しめます。夕陽がきれいなタンジュンアル・ビーチまでも徒歩圏内。 スタッフの方も、皆さん気さくでした。

适合中转休息，旅行者不建议住这个酒店，房间很小，飞机起飞声音很大

ムルへの乗り換えのため1泊しました。空港送迎無料サービスあり、ネット接続無料と言う点を重視して選びましたが、全体的に満足できるホテルでした。 スタッフの対応はにこやか、丁寧、親切だし、併設のカフェではNZ帰りのシェフが作るお菓子（私のお薦めはスコーン）なども味わえます。 徒歩3分圏内に大きなスーパーもあり、ビーチ（地元の人がビーチバレーやサッカー、木陰で読書や談笑している）まで徒歩15分くらいです。 市中心部でのショッピングを楽しみたい人には不便かもしれませんが、島廻りやテングザル見物の川下りツアーに参加するにはロケーションとしては問題ないと思います。機会があればまた利用したいです。

The hotel is recommanded for its clean room, western breakfast, in-room free wifi access, and airport pick-up service. The price is reasonable.
