South Bridge Bed and Breakfast - Philadelphia

Easy to get to from airport and easy to get around thanks to bus services. The owner is very helpful, pleasant and breakfast is excellent!

It was advertised as free off street parking and coffee masker in room. Neither of these were true. The owner made attempt to accomodate the misrepresentation of free off-street parking...street sticker one day and lot another day which she reimbursed. Assume high ratings have come from cat lovers. The place smells strongly of cats/litter. Cats have full access to the kitchen. Kitchen didn't look very hygienic to us. No security - couldn't lock bedroom door from outside while away from room. Came back to find our door open and cat exiting room. Over-priced for a bedroom in someone's house up steep […] stairs. But bed comfortable. TV screen very small. Twenty minutes brisk walk from 30th St station, at least 1/2 hour walk to city and historical sites. Not convenient. Devamı

Advertised and verbally confirmed on the phone the day before that there was free off street parking next to the building and there was not. This was the big selling point for our choice of lodging. After she saw how upset we were she made accommodations for lot and street parking. There was also no coffee makers in the room. Otherwise the place was […] lovely and the breakfasts were to die for! South Bridge B&B is terrific--clean, beautiful room, super-comfortable bed, in a great location. The hostess, Chelle, is really nice and helpful, and makes a great breakfast. This is the best B&B I've stayed in in Philly. Highly recommended!

Easy walk to UPenn, HUOP and CHOP. There are friendly cats. Breakfast is made at a time that suits your schedule. Wonderful host.

I very much enjoyed my stay at South Bridge Bed & Breakfast. Everything was clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants and the train. No need for a car while staying at this location. Very easy access to the airport and city attractions. Owner does own cats, but you'd never know it. I took my wife on her first visit to Philly for her Birthday and had a blast. The location of this B&B is great. We walked everywhere on South Street and up the path of the Schuykill River to the Museum of Art. Great hospitality and yummy original Pancake Muffins for breakfast with Keurig coffees! Bring your own Spring Water for the room and any snacks. […] Chelle did leave us 2 yummy fresh cookies though! Must not be allergic to cats as she has 4 (but you'd never know it) No smelly cat odor at all. Nice detail in the home and great shower! Thanks Chelle! Hope to be back. Devamı

Very comfortable room. Pillow top mattress was perfect. Chelle's a lovely lady, and is great to chat to if you want it, but also gives you privacy. Breakfast was incredible. The neighborhood is great too. Bus right out the front door. Easy to get to the historic part of the city. But the area surrounding the B&B is also really cute. We enjoyed walking […] around there, and it wasn't too far to walk into the city (as we did one morning instead of taking the bus). Chelle went above and beyond, writing out bus schedules for us, and allowed us to keep our bags there while we explored the city after check out. She was incredibly helpful with maps and directions. There's also free car parking on the block next to the house, which is excellent (hard to find in Philadelphia). Highly recommend this place. Devamı

This was the perfect spot for my daughter and me to stay for a visit to UPenn, which is within walking distance. If we had more time, it would have been very convenient to other Philadelphia sights. Clean, very attractive. Yummy breakfast!!

Felt very welcomed. The location was perfect for a visit to Univ of Pennsylvania, just short walk to campus. The neighborhood was wonderful and fun to explore. Yummy breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Das BnB liegt sehr günstig zur UPenn (Univsersity of Pennsylvenia). Man kann sich schnell zu Hause fühlen, da die Besitzerin einen sehr persönlichen und interessierten aber unaufdringlichen Empfang gewährleistet. Ausgesprochen schöne, geschmackvolle Gestaltung des Zimmers und komfortable Einrichtung. Gerne wieder. BBue & IBue
