Bellavista - Menaggio

Hotel Bellavista has a great location on the lakefront and very close to the main square of Menaggio. The jewel of the hotel is the water view from the dining room. The mountain view from rooms on the land side also has a great deal of appeal. The staff is very professional, always making sure our table in the dining room was ready for us. There is […] a choice of eating on the glassed-in dining porch or the adjacent indoor dining room if the porch becomes too cold. The dining areas, lobby and reception areas are attractive and well maintained, and the rooms are clean. Rugs in the hallways are about ready to be replaced, though. I should add that the restaurant is a good place to enjoy dinner, as well as breakfast. The menu selections and the entrees get high marks from our group of four. We enjoyed our stay! Devamı

the location of bellavista was great. it had pretty water views and a short walk to everything. our beds were very hard as were the pillows. (4 people/2 rooms.) the older hotel staff was grumpy and not very helpful. the younger staff tried hard, but it seemed that the elders didn't approve.

Rooms on the street have a moderate amount of noise. better to be on the lake side. Very helpful front desk staff. great advantage was having a pool to swim in and lounge by. Beautiful setting right on the lake. The restaurante was right on the lake also, with great food and service.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bellevista which is well located with lovely views. We felt very relaxed in this location - the hotel is clean and appeared to be well run. Be sure to get a lake view room as folk said the street side was noisy. The staff were helpful, and had tourist info available. The ferry is close to the hotel, and carries both cars […] and people. The dining room and bar area look across the lake towards Bellagio and Varenna, a quick ferry ride away, ("must see" villages). The little swimming pool looks onto the lake, and the tiny pebble beach next door with gentle, lapping waves. While we liked the hotel, where we ate breakfast in the mornings (and dinner once), there are very good restaurants close by, with great food. The piazza is a short stroll away, where folk gather in the evening for sun downers, and a chat, and study menus. We were not very impressed with the food at the Bellevista. The hotel is comfortable, and convenient. The Grand Hotel is next door, and again, has lovely views and is more luxurious and much bigger. We would probably stay at the Bellevista again, if we were in Menaggio, because it is on the water and it has really lovely views. Devamı

Location of hotel was great and the view was amazing. Get the lake view if possible. Hotel and staff were friendly. We requested a double bed but got two twin beds put together. The mattress was too hard for my comfort. But otherwise a good deal overall.

Right on the lake in town 50m from ferry. The restaurant overlooks the lake. Staff are friendly and helpful. Menaggio is a nice place not as touristy as bellagio across the lake.

Comfortable hotel on Lake Como. Very small balcony but superb views of Lake (you have to request a lake view when booking). Clean room with very noisy floorboards. Restaurant food good, very popular at the weekend. Accessible by boat and bus. Very relaxing stay. You can sit by the pool and snooze, walk around the town or take a boat around the lake […] (departure point 2 minutes walk from hotel). Devamı

Motsvarade mina förväntningar

Hôtel classique et côté rue bruyant mais trés bien situé sur le lac avec terrasse et face au centre. Les dirigeants ne sont pas trés accueillants petit déjeuner buffet correct

Greit hotell, men et absolutt MUST med sjøutsikt og IKKE street view. Det ene gir sjøskvulp og balkong, mens det andre gir kun vindu ut mot svært støyende gate. Rommet vårt var upraktisk lite og sengene var vonde. Men man reiser da ikke til comosjøen for å være på hoteller. Hotellet ligger rett i sentrum av Menaggio, og rett ved fergeleiet som frakter […] deg til alle de andre utrolige byene rundt sjøen. Hotellet har parkeringskjeller,og det er greit siden det er svært vanskelig finne parkering. PS. Om du tenker på å kjøre rundt sjøen er det en fordel å være stødig sjåfør da de veiene er SMALE og tempoet høyt. Devamı

Uitstekend qua locatie. Onze badkamer was wel erg,erg klein, daarintegen hadden wij een schitterend uitzicht over het meer.

Die Zimmer sollten renoviert werden; uralte Einrichtung. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein. Sonst Lage und Personal okey. Für ein verlängertes Wochenende reicht es.

Wir waren begeistert über die schöne Lage direkt am See.Hotel ist ruhig und die Zimmer sind ok. ( Betrifft Zimmer Seeseite)Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen,aber gepflegt und sauber. Reception freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen, varsinkin kun olimme liikenteessä ilman autoa. Comolla kannattaa liikkua lautoilla ja lauttaranta on käytännössä hotellin vieressä. Ruokakauppaan on noin 200 metriä ja ravintoita sekä kahviloita on muutaman sadan metrin päässä. Maisema (jos siis otti huoneen järven puolelta) oli kerrassaan upea mutta parvekkeet olivat […] niin pieniä, että niihin mahtui vain kaksi tuolia. Huoneessa haisi selvästi home, erityisesti kylppärissä ja lattiat olivat vinossa. Huoneiden sisustus oli aika alkeellinen. Näkymä oli kyllä huonehinnan arvoinen mutta ei varsinainen huone. Allas oli siisti ja allasalue miellyttävä - varsinkin näkymät altaalta. Aamiainen oli tavanomainen., samoin ruoka. Parempaa ja edullisempaa ruokaa löytyy kun kävelee vähän kauemmas hotellilta.
