Maison du Lierre - Biarritz

We recently got married in Bordeaux and we looked at Maison Du Lierre there for our guests to use. After speaking to the hotel receptionist there we thought it was nice enough for our guests to use and that they'd be looked after. We decided to go to Biarritz after our wedding and stay in Masion du Lierre there too, we thought why not, seeing as the […] Bordeaux one was nice. To cut a long story short, our guests were not happy with the hotel in Bordeaux, and stangely enough we were not happy with Maison Du Lierre in Biarritz either. When we arrived there was no one on reception, so we had lunch and came back a while later, still no one there! Once someone did arrive, they didn't even apologise nor did they let us in straight away. They went round the back and just left us there wondering what was going on. So we pressed the buzzer again and finally they let us in. Not a good start in my book! Once we got the keys to our room, we went up and found that the room had not been cleaned. The dirty towels were on the bathroom floor, the bed had not been made, the bins were full. So we told reception and they put us in another room immediately, but this room had no balcony like the first room. I didn't feel very welcome there at all. Don't think this should be a 3 star hotel, more like a 2 star maximum. It was also extremely noisy with traffic, even more so with the window open! Also, as the floors were all wooden, you could always hear people in the hallways. A shame really as it has so much potential. Would have been happier if it had tea making facilities at least and a hairdyer!!! And more coat hangers. Won't stay here again unless I was desperate!!! Shame....:(((( Devamı

great quality especially for the price, well located, across from park, nr cafes, beach and bus stop, staff wonderful and helpful, bliss in Biarritz

Mycket bra hotell med trevlig och engelsktalande personal, bra läge endast några minuter promenad till stranden. Rekommenderas varmt :-)
