This was a nice find, although it was a little hard to find While the hotel does open onto a main street, the entrance is on the other side on a side street. Walked right past it. Nice lobby. Nice hotel. Perfect for a romantic get away or as home base. Expect to walk a little to find a fun night spot.

Although I was in NY on business I chose the Mondrian because I love the LA hotel and the location seemed perfect...and it was! I wouldn't say it's the ideal business hotel (no business center, etc.) but if you want to get in good shopping while you're in Manhattan on business it's ideal. Walls were a little thin so noisier than I'd prefer but not a […] deal breaker. Amazing frittata for breakfast, would highly recommend it. The best thing though, is being able to walk about to great shopping once work is done. Pearl River, Balthazar, Antique Garage, Muji, etc. all within a block or so...! If you're not uptight about traditional business amenities and love the vibrancy of New York, you'll love staying here. Devamı

Hotel is a kind of hidden with no clear hotel sign outside, but that gives it a somewhat exclusive feel to it. Fantastic outside entrance surrounded by ivy and located parallel to uniquely decorated restaurant that has glas/transparent roof, so lots of daylight. Once inside, you're at the ground floor lobby (actually lobby to check-in and out is on […] second floor though) with the restaurant and hotel lounge/bar on the left. Superb design and entrance gives a warm feeling. Hotel room had great windows with north view of the city, was spacious (we had a king bed), with shower and toilet combined in separate but spacious space with sink inside the room next to entrance. I-pod docking station/radio available as well as i-pad (!) and plasma screen tv. Room was all white with some blue accents and blue colored mirror. Bed and pillows are of excellent quality and very comfortable. Lobby is on 2nd floor and staff was very welcoming, accommodating and professional. The restaurant has a uniqe decor and the food was just amazing. The staff is very attentive and polite. It was a joy to have brunch there. At night it functions as a bar with dim lit lighting and warm atmosphere. The only thing that I may not have liked so much is the fact that cabs are hard to find in that area, and if you think you hailed one, they may just ignore you, but I guess that's New York. Also, the hotel is quite remote from typical tourist attractions, but once you get a cab or take the subway, one will be there in 10 minutes or so. Cab ride to midtown is about $10-12, depending on traffic of course. Other than that, my girl friend and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Mondrian and it is probably my new favorite hotel in NYC. the mondrian is the perfect wknd getaway hotel. from the food to the staff friendliness to the chic ambiance, i look forward to staying there on my next trip to manhattan...

A really pretty hotel with great beds. One complaint is that the air conditioner did not seem to work even when set to high fan position and low temperature. Rooms are small, typical for NYC, so don't plan on spending time in the room. It is a new building, and it is a pleasure to walk inside and enjoy the lobby atmosphere.

The hotel was extremely clean and quiet. We got an amazing view from a corner room on top of the 20th floor. The staff is extremely friendly. We actually got free internet and an iPad for in room use. The bar picked up at night, but was never loud. My only regret is not checking out the amazing restaurant.

This hotel surpassed all of my expectations. The room was small (literally the size of hte king size bed) but that was expecated of a New York City hotel room. I would be reserved though if sharing a room with someone you are not close to due to lack of privacy. If you want to stay away from the hustle and bussel of tourist-type locations, SoHo is awesome. The hotel is in Soho, and close to Chinatown and Little Italy. Unfortunately, the hotel room was way too hot, even with the window open. The engineer came up twice but the temperature never decreased by 70 degrees. It was unbearable with the down duvet and we just couldn't sleep at all between the heat and the street noise from the open window. We loved the location but will not likely stay there again because […] we don't want to risk being so uncomfortable. The 8th floor where I was put smelled like the smell you get when you walk on the pavement and you pass the air vents from a restaurant - that smell of fat/gas/cooking/vinegar/ammonia. Gross.

Great hotel by a great group, all properties have same DNA and make you feel very at home. Appart from having a nice team running the hotel it is also in THE right location for visitors to NYC, central, access to anything and anywhere. My only problem is work. Once sitting in the Atrium, it's hard to get up and work... Beautifully decorated, relaxing […] as if sitting in a garden. Priced right in its category. Love it! Devamı

Having been to New York many times before we have always stayed mid-town but never again. Soho has everything and a much friendlier feel to it as well. Would definitely go back although the rooms were very small at the Mondrian - not sure we could find larger though.

Great hotel in great location by great hotel group. As you set foot on the property you feel you're in the heart soul of a great place, seems well managed, staff welcoming and efficient, reception and departure warm. Look forward to bring our families here for annual get together over Christmas period. Great looking and fairly comfortable rooms. But as they say, the devil is in the details. Holes in the sheets? Gross. Hotel staff unable to get wifi working? Unacceptable. Called a car service through the staff that never showed up? Completely unacceptable.

I have stayed at the Mondrian Soho on 2 different occasions and I am very pleased. I got a good room rate both times and I absolutely love the location. The hotel is very cool and fancy. The room is an OK size for a weekend, but I would not like to stay there for a week. But it is a typical size for Manhattan, so no big deal.

If you are like us, and are very busy during our work time, when we are away for pleasure we like something stress free without being invisiable as a person. This hotel is unique in that it is incredibly discreet, elegant, tasteful and offering a sincere service with an attention to detail. This place is perfect for a romantic get away. It's not that […] easy to find, even though its perfectly located in a great quarter where people live. You won't find a big sign, and when you are looking for the reception you will find it on the second floor, fun thing about that is it feels much more discreet when you are coming in or leaving the hotel. The service offered, and personnel were excellent. These are people who take their profession seriously, whilst still being very friendly and approachable. We strongly recommend this hotel and will look forward to returning. Well done the Morgan Hotel group. Devamı

Nice place in Soho, rooms have awesome view, clean and classy. Dissapointment ; Our room wasn't done after first night of stay due "Lack of staff" , let down and not used to this from Morgan Group. They rectified after few calls and didn't happen again. Staff in bar a bit too self absorbed and we felt nearly embarrassed disturbing their thoughts ordering […] drinks. Confident this will sort itself out. We will definitely stay again and recommend , thanks Team Morgan! Devamı

The hotel was pretty nice, and the staff was friendly. Our phone kept beeping though, and efforts to get it fixed were fruitless. Eventually, we pulled the battery to regain our sanity.

Once we viewed the hotel from across the street it just drew us in.. a beautiful entrance to a modern, funky and friendly hotel which oozes with atmosphere. Very friendly staff who engage well and are genuine in their interactions, from Kate at reception to the friendly and welcoming young doormen...Keep up the good work.....We loved the bedrooms which […] gave a sense of cool exotic and uber chic..complete with i-pad.. My husband and I recently spent a week at the Mondrian Soho on vacation, and almost everything about our stay was fantastic. From the moment the welcoming and informative Stefan greeted us as our car pulled up until our departure, the staff service was first class. Our room was quite small, but was very well decorated and otherwise comfortable (especially […] the bed!). The hotel's restaurant and bar is simply stunning; the pictures online don't do it justice. The main room is designed almost like a greenhouse, so when all the natural light floods in during the day and reflects on the crystal and glass decorations around the room, the effect is gorgeous. The hotel also has two great outdoor deck areas off the lobby on the second floor that are perfect for relaxing with some company or a book. I'd seen prior reviews mentioning that the bar can get noisy at night so I asked for a high room away from that, and the hotel was happy to accommodate. We didn't have any noise issues during our stay. Our only complaint related to the room's size - it made it difficult to manage our luggage, and when we ordered room service, it was a snug fit to try to fit our food on the one small table in the room (which only included one chair). Nonetheless, overall the hotel is fantastic and is ideally located for strolls through Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown. We'd definitely stay there again. Devamı

The Mondrian SoHo was great. It is very close to 3 different subway stops (2 blocks to one, 4-5 blocks to the others) and was very clean and very safe. There are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops all within walking distance - you are in the heart of SoHo. You are w/in walking distance to the LES, Little Italy and Nolita. I would stay here again. The […] staff is friendly and helpful. While the room was not huge (even by NYC standards) it was very clean and had a great view of the Hudson. The sink area is a bit cramped though. The room comes with an IPad which is a great touch. The entrance to the hotel on Crosby Street is unmarked, but just look for the arched greenhouse like structure and you walk under there to the entrance. Devamı

The Modrian Soho is brand new. It has a very secretive yet stylish entrance. The room are small (standard for NY) but very well decorated. The bright colors are a welcome morning each morning and gives a very clean feel to the room. The bar is hopping with a younger crowd. Less than a week old when we stayed at this hotel, but no complaints from us! Loved the GORGEOUS decor and fabulous location! Small but comfy rooms were just what we needed as we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Først bliver man mødt af en flot indgang fra gaden. Flot/moderne indretning når du træder ind af døren. Meget venligt personale. Da vi trådte ind på hotelværelset var vi målløse. Vi boede på 16. etage havde et hjørneværelse. Så vi havde den smukkeste udsigt, så solnedgang ned over bygningerne og kunne ane Hudson river. Næste morgen var der også mulighed […] for at se solopgang. Flot udsigt til Empire day and night. Vi følte os så heldige. Dejlig ro. Har fortalt vidt og bredt om det fantastiske syn/udsyn. Fantastisk lækkert indrettet hotel med lækker festlig atmosfære. Nyrenoveret og komfortable men små rum. Hyggelige terasser man kan hænge ud på og festlig bar med go musik. Et super cool og meget Sex & the city agtigt hotel. Genialt til kæreste/venindeture ....

Fremstår som nyoppusset moderne og stilig hotell midt i hjertet av Soho - ligger i sidegate av Broadway, et steinkast unna den beste shoppingen, little italy etc. Meget bra service, enkelt å endre rom til høyere etage om det er ønsket, betjening som er over alt til hjelp - da vi skulle dra var en av de ansatte ute på gaten midt i rushen i ca 20 minutter […] for å finne en taxi for avreise til flyplassen (dette kan være vanskelig rundt kl 5 da det er vaktskifte for taxisjåførene).Anbefales Devamı

Værelserne er moderne og lækre, men små. Omgivelserne på dette hotel er noget af det mest indbydende og hyggelige undertegnede har oplevet. Reastaurant, bar og natklub skal opleves. Den store udestue indeholdende restauranten er fantastisk og de forskellige terrasser findes ikke meget bedre i Soho. En perle på Manhatten

Vi har rejst mange steder og været på rigtig mange super gode hoteller MEN dette slår alle hoteller-helt fantastisk atmosfærer- super lækkert hotel -super personale-skønne værelser med de bedste dyner og senge - dejlig HIGHSTANDARD med masser af charme- helt klart et hotel vi vil anbefale-

I have stayed at a lot of nice hotels, but the staff here beats them all - nice, polite, efficient. The hotel is sparkling and new with great views. Quiet location in Soho with easy access to the Subway, shopping, dining etc. Noise from people talking, vacuum cleaning etc. in the hallways can easily be heard on the rooms (you can actually hear every […] word they say), so if you are a light and late sleeper you will want to bring ear plugs - but this problem is not unique to this hotel but may be found in many other new upmarket hotel..... Meget høflig betjening. Restauranten dog for overbooket - hotelgæster har ingen steder at være pga overfyldt restaurant. Der burde være et opholdssted om aftenen udelukkende for hotellets gæster
