L Hotel Island South - Hong Kong

Otelin yeri uzak gibi gorunuyor olsada hemen alt yoldan istediginiz yere kolayca gidebiliyorsunuz, otelin temizliği personeli inanılmaz ilgili otel muhtesem eger bir daha gelirsem yine bu otelde kalırım, kesinlikle ama kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

Great place to stay. Food us expensive though

I thought it was a terrible place. First, you can not get any assistant from anyone and its too far away from everything.

The hotel location is not very good. Nothing around. The hotel is confortable and luxurious.

Our stay here at L Hotel Island South was great. Not to say we spent a whole lot of time actually in the hotel, but the time we did was comfortable, relaxing and the staff was extremely accommodating. One staff member in particular, I believe her name was Clara, went way above her duties to help us with our commute around the city. She gave us maps, […] directions, helped us change our money, and even gave personal suggestions of particular places we would do well to go visit. The Hotel is a bit out of the way of the main city and most attractions [except Ocean Park, which we could actually see from outside our room window] but their timely and reliable shuttle service will drop you to the nearby MTR station and pick you up from the airport express and take you back to the hotel. We rode a taxi only once during our 3 day trip because we woke up late the morning of our departure and missed the shuttle. All in all, a great 1st trip to HK and a great hotel staying experience. Hotel is clean but very sterile, no atmosphere. Everything smells like a cheap aftershave that gives you a headache. AC in room was too cold and could not be changed. In room dining menu has 10 items and very expensive. It takes at least 40 minutes to get a cup of coffee in the room. No service. We asked for a room for an hour after we checked out (we […] had been out in the rain the whole morning with 4 small kids) and they did not want to give us one (we'd already paid). Staff has an attitude like they work in the best place in the world. Restaurant could not manage to get our order right once (we had dinner 5 times) and charged full price for a buffet for our 2 year old. Hotels have free suttle to central, hongkong station, causewaybay, ocean park with comfortable time table. All staffs are really nice and kindly provide every information. Breakfast is also good in LIS bar and swimming pool and health club is good. great wifi connection in the rooms. city view rooms are in close proximity with highway - noisy 24/7. guests in neighbouring rooms often rowdy + noisy. thin walls.

We booked a twin and were put in a room with a camp style bed jammed into the corner so making it a triple and also meaning we had no room to move in the room at all. The room was very clean and the linen was lovely. The beds were very hard and although this wasn't so much a problem for me, it could be for others. It did mean the comfort level was […] reduced slightly as could not snuggle into my bed. When we checked in, there was a man on the phone behind the check in and he completely ignored us for at least 10 minutes before he finally called a colleague to check us in. We waited for at least 10 minutes again while she fussed over something and when asked f there was a problem, she just said 'no' and gave no explanation. It is a very sterile feeling place and as we only needed a room to sleep in, we weren't so bothered, but if we were there for several days, I would choose somewhere more central and with a better feel to it. Not sure if I would recommend or not but as there is only the option to put yes or no, I have said yes as it was not as awful as some places I have stayed, but don't go expecting any luxury or extras... Very nice room settings and comfortable. The room is very large and clean. Shuttle bus services is very satisfactory. Overall, it is great hotel to stay.

Very disappointed! Rude-staff, un-flexible check out (even for 10 mns!!) The parking is overpriced. No swimming pool in winter, no steam room, no sauna.. dirty gym. noisy rooms... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

Nice hotel, next to ocean park. breakast is minimalistic, no cooked stuff available, only cold /readymade stuff... ..better to catch the bus early and eat at the MTR shops instead of paying for expensive bf.. bus service is really nice and convenient, makes up for its far from city location... stay here if you cant get something in same price at […] TST or Central..... Perfect, except the location is a little bit remote.public transport is very convenient though!bus stop is just outside the hotel tt has plenty of buses to the central, causeway bay!!excellent hotel.u will not regret choosing!:)

Only one check in desk. The room was very cold. The shuttle service was free but did not show up. Had to wait 2 hrs. Would recommend using a taxis. Went to the cafe, has to go to find someone to order our food.

the L hotel provides a perfect balance between customer service and location. the location is a bit off the beaten path but the attentive, helpful and detailed nature of the employee's offsets this disadvantage. get a room with a moutain view and above the 10th floor and the experience is worth the price savings the hotel offers.

Generally a good hotel. Its a not very central but they have a free shuttlebus service that goes quite freqvently. There is also public transport (bus) very close. The rooms are nice and the staff are friendly. The free wifi is fast compared to other hotel offerings. Many ML chinese families with kids stays at this hotel since its close to Ocean Park […] - so be prepared for some noise from kids. Devamı

Staff attitude is terrible！ They are not professional and too young. Shuttle bus is easy to fully seated The location is so bad...I won't recommend this hotel to anyone...

This hotel is quite posh (in comparison with the rate) and staff is very friendly. It is quite far from Hong Kong city, but hotel provides shuttle bus service to Hong Kong station. You may go anywhere thru this train service. One of Hong Kong' s major attraction Ocean Park is quite near. A 15 minute walk or 28 HK Dollar taxi will take you to Aberdeen […] where you could have many food outlets and small shops. Nice hotel, very good value for the price. A bit far from city center but quite accessible by bus, with MTR station now under construction.

Even with the location NOT so convinient to town the bus shuttle make it worthwhile.The hotel lobby could have been bigger and seating was very limited. I'll stay here again if the hotel rate stays lower than the downtown ones.

Clean n comfortable. However ,location is a no no. Going to town and taking taxi is a hassle especially facing the tunnel jam each time.

My family and I stayed in the hotel for 5 days and 5 nights. The rooms were very roomy and cozy when compared to other similar priced hotels in other districts in Hong Kong. The pool and gym were excellent. Likewise, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel did offer a special price for Ocean Park tickets which were much appreciated […] by my kids. However, if you are going around town, the place is quite far from most places. The hotel shuttle to Central is quite helpful. Although, I would say that if you are here on business, you will need to get up early and manage your schedule to the shuttle trips. Another downside is there are no nearby restaurants if you feel like having a midnight snack. No convenience stores were nearby either. I found a supermarket that was a 15 minute walk and a food court which was about 10 mins away (but I wouldn't recommend going there). For a tourist, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and although the place is far, the shuttle is very efficient with one passing by every 30 minutes. Devamı

This is a really great hotel. It is not in a great location, but the hotel runs a free shuttle bus service to and from Hong Kong central, which takes about 15-20 minutes. There is also a bus stop very close to the hotel (take the number 70 to central), so the out-of-the-way location was not a problem at all for us. We stayed for nearly a week and didn't […] even need to take any taxis. The breakfast was pretty good, but expensive. It is easy to open a set of blinds and see into the shower from the bedroom. Should have separate check in and check out lines.

The room is clean and comfortable. The wifi internet connection is fast and free. The shuttle service to Hongkong central terminal is free and goes every half an hour to 45 minutes. The buffet breakfast is good but not included in the price of your room. The people in the front desk speak English well. I will recommend this hotel.

This is the first time we spent our vacation. Thanks for the tips of HOTEL, we chose this number one rated hotel and it was proved to be an extremely wiseful choice. We stayed 5 nights with our 2 year old baby and in laws. Everything was perfect. Clean rooms, free internet, nice pool and very polite staffs. Complementary shuttle service was a blessing as the hotel is not at the heart of main city. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great hotel; staff very courteous; very conveniently located to Ocean Park

excellent value with modern style rooms and facilities. excellent house keeping quality, pay high attention to detail. really cozy rooms and sleek design. The hotel shuttle bus running between hotel Central IFC is a great great bonus, it saved us from a lot of sweats. We only stayed at L'hotel Island South for two nights, but the hotel and rooms were beautiful and well-kept and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious - we ate there both mornings! The staff was very helpful - showing us their convenient and FREE shuttle service and holding our bags for us at concierge until we were able to pick them up to go to […] the airport. While the location is not close to anything we wanted to see (except Ocean Park, which we ended up not being able to visit), it was very easy to use the shuttle to get to an MTR station, and from there to wherever we wanted to go! I will definitely be looking to this hotel for my next visit to Hong Kong! Devamı
