Grand Hotel at Bridgeport - Tigard

The standard room we had was enourmous. Provably could git 30 or 40 people in it. It was also very clean and modern. The bed wasnt bad, but wasnt the best i have ever slept in either. The hot breakfast was good as well. Overall excellent hotel..too bad they dont accept pets.

We left the kids with Grandma and escaped for a night of R&R. This was the perfect place! Great price, good (easy) location, and close to a fun night out of shopping, dinner, movie, coffee and icecream. Clean hotel, kind staff, and an fairly good complimentary breakfast. Loved it - will definitely return!!

unbelievable service and comfort. location doesn't fit the location area, but the hotel and staff made up for that. the beds were to die for and the whole suite was beautifully maintained. the breakfast was super and i will definitely be coming back and telling everyone to stay there. thank you staybridge

The Grand Hotel in Tigard was not worth the price. The water pressure in the shower was low and the shower size was awkward. The coffe in the lobby was empty 2 out of 3 nights. The breakfast was nothing to speak of. They never had coffee creamer out and did not stay on top of keeping breakfast items such as juice and coffee stocked. I wanted to stay […] somewhere nice for my daughter's last spring break at home and this hotel was a disappointment. Love this hotel! I've stayed at this hotel several times and have always been happy. After a long drive this hotel was so comfortable and the staff was very accommodating.

This place is awesome! My fiance and I were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the lobby and saw this gleaming, beautiful hotel. It really is impressive, from the friendly staff to the spotless and modern and comfortable room, to the incredible breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at The Grand. Room was clean, VERY spacious and comfortable. The only bad thing was that the children in the room above us were jumping from their beds until all hours. It was new years eve, so we took it in stride.

The room was very good, quiet, a very good nights sleep in a great place.

Terrific experience at this hotel this past weekend. For the price, this hotel beats anything we've found in or near Portland. It is our new "go-to" hotel when overnighting in the Portland area. Highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast buffet and all close to the freeway, shopping and wine tasting - all at a ridiculous low price! It doesn't get better than that.

We enjoyed our stay here for my husband's b-day, totally got our money's worth. The breakfast was wonderful and availble till later unlike other places. We would totally stay here again. The staff are very helpful and friendly as well :)

The hotel is very new, only 2 years old and stills retains a lot of "newness" aspects. Staff and facility were great. The breakfast buffet is overwhelming and is kept stocked right up to the closing minutes. This is great for any later arrivals. Location and proximity to Bridgeport Village is great for shopping but is a short drive from other attractions. […] Proximity to Exit 290 on I5 makes access and egress easy. Just a one night stay but loved it. Very clean, modern and close to the freeway- but not noisy, and close to a shopping center and theater. We stroller over and had a nice dinner, went to a movie and walked back to our very comfortable accommodations. We will be back!

We were thourouly impressed with the look, staff and feel of the hotel. We only stay overnight and were quite impressed with the surrounding area. It is convenient to the nearby Bridgeport Mall with elegant shopping and restaurants. This hotel is new and fresh, convenient and the staff is polite, friendly and very helpful. We stayed at Grand Hotel at Bridgepot from Aug 7 to 9, 2011. This hotel is conventiently located. We were upgraded to a king jacuzzi suite which is a bonus. Our 17 months old was having so much fun just running around the big room and using the jacuzzi. The room is clean and the breakfast is great (loves the waffles). We liked the hotel for the Cleanliness and everything else except our bed, the mattress was too hard, I woke up many times during the night. Did not get a good night's sleep.

Definitely better than an three star, but it falls short of a four star hotel. Clean, spacious, comfortable with slightly thin walls. It's right next to the shopping mall in Tigard, as well as the Whole Foods. They have beer and wine next to the front desk for purchase, and it's craft beer to boot. We used this as a launching site for a day of wine […] tasting in the Willamette valley. Very convenient for that. Devamı

I have stayed at this hotel 20+ nights over the last 1.5 years. I am a business traveler and my company is a 10 minute drive. I like this hotel and continue to stay here, but the one item that gives me pause is the shower. The pressure is low. I finally asked the front desk person about this on my last trip and she said they have dampeners in the system […] as part of their water conservation effort. On this trip, the shower would also fluctuate between a good warm temperature and cold. It seemed as if the hot water was being turned off or perhaps it was related to the pressure issue. New hotel going through initial staff problems with front desk and housekeeping. Front desk is uninformed in knowledge of the area and had to cover for housekeeping issues on several occassions. Lobby and rooms are attractive but uninsulated waste pipes and walls including ceilings and hallways create loud noise issues. Overall we had a good stay. Our only complaint, which others have mentioned, is the thin walls. We could hear people using the bathroom, coughing, sneezing, etc. We would recommend people staying on the top floor.

Only stayed one night, and used to live near this hotel and thought it might be pricey. I checked online and found very reasonable and I love Bridgeport Village so very convenient for me. A win win. Hotel very nice, clean, and staff was very friendly-I would stay here again. Due to time restraints I did not use amenities, but did have the breakfast-the […] fresh warm cinnamon rolls are delicious. We were so pleased with this hotel. It operates on the same premise as a Hampton Inn, but the lobby and rooms are so much nicer. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was really nice and big. Pool/spa is nice and well kept. Breakfast buffet served my kids well. Eggs, sausage, bacon, a little fruit, and the usual Continental fare. I loved staying here - the lobby looks so nice & the room is perfect! Never thought it was only a 3-star hotel - looked more like a 5-star! Yummy breakfast, free parking, free internet, close to a shopping mall... need i say more? Will definitely stay here again!

The room was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was luxurious, but the hot water was an issue. While my husband was in the shower, I was trying to wash my face at the sink, but every time I would turn the faucet to hot, it would drain the hot water from his shower in order to get hot water in the sink. Not to mention for a city that […] is trying to conserve water, it takes 3 -4 minutes for hot water to start flowing in the shower or in the sink. That's a lot of wasted water... Devamı

The hotel is "grand" and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. My son said it was the best hotel he's stayed in! I loved that the hotel had a bit of a frangrance in the air that reminded me of an Aveda salon and didn't smell like a typical hotel. The shower had great pressure and I liked having a shower stall while my son used the bathtub. Breakfast […] was decent: scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with a mexican flair, bacon, biscuits, gravy, a sweet roll, sliced melons and berries, a waffle machine, etc. The only two things I disliked: soft pillows and the room above me had a herd of kids running around. The only drawback to this new, well-located hotel is the thinness of the floors/ceilings. It sounded like someone was stomping on the floor above us early in the morning, which I'm sure they weren't.

Stay was very pleasant, room was terrific and there is an upscale shopping area you can walk to, with movies and eating options. I would go back, no question.

New property, friendly staff, breakfast, and evening cookies. Walk to Bridgeport Village shopping. As another review mentioned, the room was mechanically noisy and the fan blew right over the bed. Otherwise The Grand is a better choice than other properties in the vacinity.

A new hotel that has a very upscale feel to it. Most importantly, it's clean. Location was also very nice. Right near an upscale shopping center there plenty of things to do to kill a little time or burn some cash. I loved both the location of the hotel and the cleanliness, would definitely come back.

Grand Hotel is very clean and pleasant to stay. Complimentary buffet breakfast adds to the value and will not have to worry about breakfast. The hotel is also located adjacent to the elegant Bridgeport Mall as well as close proximity to Woodburn factory outlet about 30 minutes drive and downtown Portland, and Vancouver, Washington.

Very comfortable and well maintained property. Breakfast included (cereal, fruit, waffles, etc.) made it an even better value. The only dissatisfaction was with the night desk person, who refused to provide extra towels (housekeeping was closed.) However, when housekeeping came on duty the next morning, my call to them was promptly answered and towels […] were delivered. Devamı

This hotel is well located to shopping and restaurants as well as freeway access in all directions. I will more than likely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to the Portland area especially if the majority of their need is in the southwest area.
