Ad Hoc Monumental Hotel - Valencia

Great location, nice comfortable clean rooms and very helpful staff. We did not try the restaurant and parking is nearly impossible although this is no fault of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were so awesome. They were all very kind and attentive. The rooms were very nice and clean. Location was great. Amenities were great as well. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff was so nice. We would highly recommend the Ad Hoc Monumental.

Excellent location. Walking distance to the old city. Also next to public bikes. Use these to travel all over Valencia. The city is very bike friendly. Tidy boutique hotel. Very helpful staff. Old world charm, with modern conveniences.

Excellent staff and location. The A Pellegrini restaurant around the corner is fabulous for groups since they do tablas (table servings) of their Galician cuisine. Close to the square and to the river park. Our room had no real view, so if you want a view then you need to ask if other rooms might have them. This is a great hotel! Really close to the major sites in the old town and walking distance to the metro station. The staff were great, the room was clean and comfortable, we had a big bathroom which was lovely. Especially liked the exposed brickwork in the hotel. Well worth a stay!

The hotel was fine was very nice inside, was very clean, the only downfall was the air-conditioner was a bit noisy and there was no fridge.

We always stay in the old town of any city we visit & try to find a boutique style hotel that matches it.There was not much choice of the sort of thing that appeals to us in Valencia. But the Ad Hoc (bizarre name) was great. Service was fine, room was cool and fairly spacious, although we did ask to change from one that had an interior view of a wall […] to one with street view. Bed was a bit firm for us as most continental beds tend to be, but not horrific. The staff were fine, not brilliant but fine and we never ate at the hotel as there are so many restaurants & cafes near by. We would recommend this hotel. Devamı

Loved this hotel—per some hotels renovations, most hotels seem to "lose space", the Ad Hoc Monumental Hotel has really grand rooms with a welcoming mix of modern/rustic, it was a 4-star room on a 3-star budget, also the perfect size, felt like a boutique hotel. It was in the heart of the old historical city center, everything is within very close walking […] distance, including the Jardins de Turia (an 8-mile long park that stretches the length of the city), just a block away. Fantastic location, 5 mins walk to the Plaza de Virgins and the buzziest street for nightlife, Caballeros. We didnot eat in the hotel, too much on offer in the city. Beautiful room on the 4th floor with bare brick walls and ceiling and small balcony. The hotel was ideally placed in the old part of Valencia. We could walk to all the sites in the old part of the city. It was easy to get to other places of interest using the metro. Ad Hoc was very comfortable and quiet. The bedrooms are spacious & the bathrooms well appointed. and both were spotless. We had a problem with the room on our first night, […] as we were put in an modern appartment over the road & we had requested a room in the beautiful old building, but this was put right the following day and we were adequately re- imbursed with complementary breakfasts for our 5 nights stay. Of all the places I stayed in Spain, my memories of the Ad Hoc are the least fond. Located on the outskirts of the old city, it's a nightmare to find. Then, there's no place to park while you check-in. The desk clerk sent me to an underground lot a few blocks away and then I made the mistake of thinking I could quickly walk through the old city to the […] hotel with my luggage. Do not make that mistake. Stay on the major streets! No wifi and their "computer" for public use was probably manufactured in 1985. Seriously! This is a charming small hotel at the edge of the old city. It is convenient to walk everywhere. My only complaint would be that at 10:32 (breakfast was finished at 10:30 and well posted), I was told I couldn't even get a cup of coffee.

Well located hotel in the Old Town within 5 minutes walk of the main Squares. Pleasant and helpful staff. Room good, but small bath, so shower the better option. Breakfast a little disappointing, and the restaurant was not really used for dinner, although it was a quiet week before Easter.

This fabulous little hotel is quite a find! The staff were charming and helpful and the lovely rooms well appointed. One thing to note - all the rooms with double beds are at the back of the hotel. Twin bedded rooms fronting the quiet street are much larger with windows opening onto a small balcony. l'hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla nel centro storico della città. Gli edifici principali della città si raggingono in pochi minuti. Le camere sono tranquille e accoglienti, l'atmosfera familiare e il personale accogliete. La colazione ottima per ambiente e qualità.

Aparte de su excelente ubicación para pasear a pie por la bella Ciudad Vieja de Valencia, lo más interesante de este hotel es la calidad de su decoración, a base de muebles antiguos y arte contemporáneo. This is a very nice and comfortable hotel. I and my companion stayed there for Easter with our little dog. This hotel is located in quiet street and very close to everything. We brought a car and found a parking house of 200 m from the hotel. The rooms are big and beautiful with high ceilings and comfortable beds. Vi var veldig godt fornøyd med hotellet. Hadde A/C, trådløst internett med bra styrke, safe på rommet riktignok med nøkkel(minus) og det var rent. Og det ligger sentralt i for til gamlebyen og katedralen men også såvidt langt unna at det ikke ble altfor mye nattebråk(positivt for oss. Og det var en bra pris.
