Porto Trindade Hotel - Porto

The Porto Trindade is well located a short block from the Trindade metro stop and a reasonable walk from Avenida dos Aliodos, where you will find quite a few restaurants. the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast […] buffet offers a few hot choices and a good array of meat, cheese, breads, fresh fruit, and juices. Other times of day, it doubles as a bar which also serves small snacks, including sandwiches. The only drawback is, that although it's obviously a very new hotel, not everything works. The first morning, I found that the shower door wouldn't close and that one hinge in the toilet seat was broken. Both were fixed during the day, but the hinge broke again immediately. The phones reflect old technology; you can dial out, but once you're connected, nothing you enter on the keypad is recognized. For example, if you need to enter a code or credit card number, you won't be able to do so. The hotel is reasonably priced, and a good choice for Porto. Just don't expect everything to work. Devamı

The room was small but verz comfortable. The breakfast was great!! The location is super convenient ( 20 min from river, one block from Metro). Excellent English speaking staff that are verz helpful. A perfect place in Porto at a good price.

Porto Trindade Hotel is a very nice hotel, with modern decor. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of choices and great fresh fruit and pastries. Conveniently located right near the metro. Friendly and helpful staff, complimentary glass of port on arrival. We were a little worried having read a bad review of cleanliness on tripadvisor, but couldn't fault our room. We were on the 9th floor (top), one of only 3 rooms on that floor so nice and quiet. Adjacent roof terrace with views over the city. Excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel is right in the city centre about equi-distance (20 mins walk) from the harbour front and the shopping district. It's a hilly city but that's part of its charm and on reflection we found the location ok as we did know it was uphill to the hotel from the harbour (where the port wine lodges and river cruises are). It's a good-looking hotel, […] very modern and if we hadn't had any contact with the staff other than check-in and out we would probably have rated it much higher. We were unlucky on our first morning's breakfast to get there just as the staff launched a raid on the cleaning as there was 10 minutes of loud clattering and a very obvious staff prescence - it was not at all relaxing and I don't think the word 'discreet' had come up in staff training. Subsequent days were better but the breakfast offering often ran out of basics (including coffee) and guests had keep asking for refills which I don't really expect of a four star. Another experience was asking the front desk whether port wine lodges are open on Sundays and being told simply 'I don't know' - it is the city's main attraction, if he didn't know I think he should have tried to find out for us. Then there were little things like no smiles/acknowledgements and the room didn't have that crisp, sparkling look I expect after being made-up. A lot of the staff appeared extremely young and perhaps will improve with experience. I don't like to be negative or appear over-demanding as I sometimes think people are when I read these reviews but this hotel really did not meet our expectations. That said, maybe we were just unlucky. My boyfriend awards his hotel breakfast grading of 7/10. The scrambled eggs were extremely dry. good central hotel. got a room on the road side and it was very noisy!

Clean, modern, air conditioned hotel rooms with a good continental breakfast. Metro conveniently located just outside hotel. A 25 min walk downhill to Reviera, and 15 minute walk to downtown shopping area. No nearby restaurants near hotel or room service available in hotel. Wouldn't mind staying there again.

Hotel bem localizado, em frente da estação principal de metro, que liga todas as linhas. Ótima conservação, com café da manhã variado e bom. Funcionários sempre atenciosos e dispostos a tirar dúvidas da cidade. Lounge agradável e descolado. Recomento a todos.

Mukava, siisti hotelli metron pääaseman vieressä. Huoneissa tyyli ohittaa käytännölillisyyden, mutta sängyt ovat mukavat. WLAN on vasta rakenteilla, mutta huoneissa on toimiva lankaverkko. Henkilökunta on erittäin huomaavaista ja ystävällistä. Aamiainen on oikein hyvä. Suosittelen lämpimästi!

メトロの駅やバス停からすぐ近くで交通の便がとても良いです。また、建物は新しく部屋もモダンで綺麗です。ただ、ベッドメイキングはされていたのですが、シーツが交換されていなかったのが残念です。朝食は充実していて、ウエルカムドリンクでポルトワインが頂けます。 ホテル到着が深夜になってしまったのですが、フロントの方はとても親切に応対してくださいました。(事前にメールで連絡していましたが) コストパフォーマンスが良く、とてもお勧めです。
