Royal Oxford Hotel - Oxford

Spacious, clean, orderly room, with lots of windows. Hotel close to train station. On main road, but windows block out the noise. No elevator, though.

A convenient location close to the train station, and a nice-sized room with excellent amenities for a well-priced hotel.

I had a wonderfully relaxing one night stay at the Royal Oxford Hotel. The complimentary fruit, biscuits, tea/coffee/hot choc and many toiletries were a generous and welcome touch. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The left luggage option allowed me to attend meetings without dragging my luggage every with me - a burden relieved! The proximity […] to the rail station is also a great convenience while the excellent double glazing on the windows ensures little noise interference. The neighbourhood is typical of transport hubs with many restaurants and nightclubs. On Thursday, Friday and the weekend, I should imagine that the area may be loud and rowdy which would not suit my comfort level. A wonderful retreat for a weekday business traveller though. Devamı

The Royal Oxford is only a ten minute walk to the centre and despite it being on a busy road, the extra windows put in stop the noise. The rooms are recently redecorated and the bed and pillows are HEAVENLY! Very thoughtful tea service with teas,coffees, fruit and biscuits. Very helpful staff. I will definitely stay here again!

Great staff, could not have been of more help. Close to everything plent of eating places and attractions just a short walk away. However no lift but staff carried bags to 2nd floor - great service.

The most pleasant, helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us! Although the hotel isn't the Ritz in terms of decor, it was very clean with enough room for our travel cot and it had a spacious bathroom. The hotel was very convenient for the Wedding Venue we attended and 2 mins from the train Station. UK hotel prices are ridiculous, so thank God for discount schemes. Hotel was OK but you would think in 2011 the TV would work properly and the toilet seat would stay up without being held! Both annoying small problems. Attached to a restaurant which is OK but with terribly slow service for breakfast, which is inexcusable. I'd go back as long as I […] can get a good discounted price. lovely staff so helpful great price for a comfortable room location right next to station and within 5 mins walk of town centre

The Royal Oxford is conveniently situated for all Oxford's wonderful sights. While a 3 star it has services which make it better than some 4* .There is no lift but staff carry luggage to and from rooms. There is bottled water each day of your stay, free newspaper of your choice a large bowl of fruit with knife and plate. also lots of biscuits with tea […] and coffee. It is expensive but that's Oxford and these extras certainly compensate. I did not eat at the hotel but there is a cafe. Staff are attentive and friendly . A most enjoyable stay. Devamı

Trevligt bemötande av alltid lika hjälpsam personal.Fantastiskt läge nära alla sevärdheter och restauranger. Stort och bekvämt rum. Borde ha haft 4 stjärnor.

Motsvarade mina förväntningar och var perfekt belegät med närhet till busstation, järnväg och ett kort gångavstånd till sevärdheter och shopping.

Het Royal Oxford Hotel ligt op een goede locatie t.o.v. het centrum. Binnen vijf minuten ben je in het centrum. De staf is vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. De kamers zijn prima, maar wel een beetje gehorig. De bedden/kussens zijn ook niet zo goed, helaas. Verder een leuk verblijf gehad!

Vele bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand van het hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. Koffie, thee en fruitmand op de kamer doet zeer gastrij en huiselijk aan. Helaas geen minibar op de kamer.
