Braemar on Parliament Street - Auckland

Our night in Auckland for a concert was a very enjoyable visit mainly because of this accomodation. Host made us very welcome & was a wealth of information. Easy walking distance to Vector Arena & the downtown area. Off street parking at no extra charge. Wonderful historic B+B, which really added to the experience of staying in town for a concert - making it that bit more memorable. David was a courteous and friendly host who made us feel very welcome and cooked us a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend Braemar on Parliament St to locals and tourists alike.

My husband and I stayed at the Braemar for 6 days. We chose it for its proximity to the University of Auckland, but it was also an easy walk to the waterfront to participate in the World Cup Rugby festivities. John, the owner, and David, the manager, went above and beyond to see we had everything we needed. David's delicious breakfasts were a wonderful […] way to start the day. If you are very lucky, he will whip up some of his corn fritters made with fresh herbs plucked from the pots on the terrace. Our room was clean and comfortable with a shared bath. The bathroom is beautiful with a large soaking tub, large shower, and many original fixtures lovingly restored. We had to only share it with one other room so that was never an issue. On our next visit we will book one of the two rooms with ensuite because these rooms are STUNNING. Devamı
