Actually two hotels. Make sure that you are in the Prime hotel, I recommend calling in advance to ensure this. There is a second facility above the Prime 112 restaurant; that second facility is nowhere near 4 star quality. The Prime Hotel is one building south of the restaurant, and is a beautiful facility. The rooms are very nice, but its more of a restaurant that lets out rooms than a hotel. There's no lobby or accomodations for storing luggage. You have to walk through the restaurant to get to the elevator to your room. You get the feeling that they're not too happy having hotel guests stay there.

Other than the check in process, the hotel was great! It is very difficult to find the front desk because it is inside the restaurant of the hotel. The entire first floor is a restaurant and the check in desk is just inside one of the entrances. The girl who was checking us in must have been new because it took 1/2 hour to get our room key and the rooms […] were prepaid! The couple in front of us was also very annoyed with the process. The rooms are very modern and are fantastic! We had the corner unit on the 3rd floor and was able to watch the sun come up from our windows. To get to the elevator, you have to walk through the restaurant which is very compact. It is not your traditional hotel entrance. If you can get by that part of the hotel, the place is great. The location is perfectly located across from Nikki Beach Club and the Prime 112 restaurant is a very popular place. The cost from Hotels.com was much better than the rate we were quoted when calling the hotel directly. I was stay here again when in South Beach. Devamı

Definitely has sex appeal. Rooms are small, but comfortable for 2. Hotel is located at quieter end of south beach & above best restaurant on the beach. Starbucks conveniently located across the street. Even though rooms are above restaurant, there was no noise.

PROS: Plush top bed, designer fixtures, quiet (room facing 1st st), spacious, immaculate, private, personal touches specific to boutique hotel: complimentary house made cookies, Voss water, fruit and wifi. Overall, feels expensive. Tranquil and expensive part of SoBe. CONS: no bell hop, doorman etc (but little front staff adds to privacy). Other reviewers […] mention having to go thru the restaurant to get to rooms. There is a side door that leads directly to the hotel elevator. This circumstance is hardly a complaint. Door to elevator is maybe 10 ft of free restaurant space. No maneuvering around tables, patrons, etc. Hotel is 25 minute walk to Lincoln Road, 10 minute walk to restaurants on Ocean Dr, but there r 2 DECO rental bike stations within 1 block. Cabs are plentiful. No feather pillows. WARNING: there is a window of not completely opaque glass that separates room from bathroom. I chose this hotel because of the free wifi, the service was intermittent. The room was very modern as was the bathroom with a tiled floor which was very slippery when wet.

The only real problem with this hotel other than being super compact, is the bathroom layout. It was obviously designed by a man, and a man who doesn't travel very much. As sexy as it is, there is absolutely minimal space for your toiletries and other things with which you need in the bathroom. There is a ledge that runs along the wall behind you, but […] it is small AND BEHIND you, not in front of you where you need things to be. There are no hooks to hang anything as there is glass and tile everywhere. Women travel with a ton of personal hygene and beauty product and there is just no where to put it there. There is only a tiny space to set a travel kit, but if you're 2 people, the other has to make do outside the bathroom. I was there with my girlfriend and we had to leave stuff outside the bedroom and bring it in. A simple shelf above the sink would fix that. Very surprising detail that was left out. That being said, the hotel is quite nice, comfortable, clean, quiet and the staff very friendly. There is no carpet which is a HUGE plus for me as carpet is gross in a humid, tropical environment. Because of the bathroom space mentioned I have to rate it a 4. Worth the money we spent and we'll be back. Seemed the best choice for price considering what's available in the area. Devamı

Excellent service. Great location. Close to South Beach, but just far enough away from main boardwalk. My wife and I stayed two nights. 5 stars all around.

i booked this hotel with mooonths in advance specting to have a great vacation and beaing able to get back to my room at night and rest peacefully, not the case, when i got there, they told me i had to go to the other building to get to my room, " the bronws hotel" bcs thats where the hotel was booked, i was at that moment not going to deal with it […] i was on vacation mode come on, then i get to my room and it was an ooold buiding nothing like the pictures, i went back down and ask what was going on, they said pictures on tho website are wrong and they had already sope to hotels.com and expedia to have pictures removed, i explain them it is not my fault and to give me something better, the girl at front said didnt have anything else availiable, but i was more than welcome to look into moving to another hotel in the area, i was like " seriously is music fetival week, there was no way i was going to be able to find anything else around", so she said well they only thing i can offer is a late check out, free of charge, " oh great i have a crappy room and now im ging to have a late check out, thats going to make me feel sooo much better, yeah right, room was old floor in bathroom was dirty, but this is not it, there is construction going on next to the hotel, that was my beatiful view and morning noises not birds singuing or the water at the beach, but drilling, yelling, trucks pulling out, this has been the worst experience in hotels, especially a "4 star hotel", not happy at all, hope if anyone is staying here dont go to the same issue, pictures need to be removed and put the right ones so we dont spect to get to a beatiful place and find this old buiding nothing like it looks in the pictures, very very disappointed Devamı

The Hotel in the pics is beautiful, but the functionality is not that great. There was no dressers or shelves in both the room and bathroom. The shower had no enclosure which was fine but the water went all over the place in the regular bathroom. Lastly the ipod dock and stereo that was advertised did not work and they could not fix. I have stayed at quite a few hotels in South Beach and all have disappointed me until we stayed here! We had tickets for Nikki Beach for the day and it is literally across the street. Very nice to be so close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. The room was very contemporary and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Room was spotless and stylish […] and the balcony was so nice with a great view. There were fresh white chocolate macadamia cookies wrapped waiting for us with a welcome card. Shower had jets coming out all over the place. Awesome sound system and TV in the room. Even the peppermint soap they gave us was wonderful! I stay in hotels more than 50 times a year and this is the best experience I have had in a long time. We are already planning our trip to stay there again! FYI- the Philippe Chinese restaurant just south of the hotel had great food and service. Devamı

Prime 112 is one of our favorites.  We enjoy it nearly every time we are in South  Beach.  However, the “Prime” hotel above it is not worthy of its namesake.  At best it is a restaurant after-thought, and at worse is noisy and overpriced.   Our first clue was that when we were attempting to check in (located in the middle of the very busy restaurant) […] the attendant was discussing lost car keys with another hotel guest.  We too would have our issues with the car valet service.     Checking into Prime is not like checking into other hotels, you and your luggage are right in the way of a busy restaurant with innumerable waiters and dinner guests dodging you and your pile of luggage.  The hotel elevator is reached essentially through the kitchen hallway.  Odd.     Parking is not odd, it is a disaster.  You are using the same valets as the surrounding restaurants.  Once we checked in we planned to leave immediately for an evening function.  We asked (and the hotel agreed) to keep the car close so we could execute the quick turn around we needed.  This humble request has been honored at hotels around the country, without a hitch.  But it was too much for “Prime Hotel”.  When we came back down to get the car, not only was it gone, it took them literally 35 minutes to get it.  We were told they would try and get us a discount on the $36 parking fee, but later we were told that this was never going to happen and there was no concession they could make.  If I am paying $36 dollars additional to park at my hotel, I at least expect the car to be promptly delivered.  Prime Hotel could not do so.   Things got worse.  The lovely room pictured with a balcony that we thought we purchased, was nothing like our room.  Instead, we got a room overlooking the outdoor dining area and a 4'x4 slab balcony with tiny chairs and a petite table.  The diners looked up at us and we down at them.  Bon appetit y’all.     But the real problem with that room was the restaurant noise which includes not Devamı

Love this hotel. Great look. Great location, right in front of Nikki Beach. Close to everything, but still far from noise, busy streets and rowdy spring breakers. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Right next to great restaurants. Can't wait to visit again!

This is a delightful boutique hotel. There is not much of a lobby, but it is very clean, modern and convenient. The bathrooms could have used a bit more counter space, but overall it was an excellent time!

Incredibly popular steakhouse, and very good food. But the hotel is just an afterthought for the owners of the restaurant, not a focus. There isn't even a clear entrance to the hotel, we arrived at 10PM when the restaurant was full, and couldn't find the hotel registration desk because it was hidden among the dining tables, next to the packed restaurant […] bar. Same thing happened to other guests the following night who had a bunch of luggage with them, very inconvenient to check in. There is no hotel lobby, you walk through restaurant to get to your room (hotel room is very nice though). We asked for towels, and it took over half hour for them to send some up. I ordered a drink from the bar to be sent up to the room, and it was $35 after their service charge! For one drink! The nice rooms don't make up for the fact that this hotel is really just a collection of rooms above a busy steakhouse. Would not stay here again. Devamı

South Beach Miami is a very busy place and this hotel was located in the perfect spot. There's a beach right across the street and plenty of dining. You can walk straight down Ocean Dr and fine plenty of great places to go. The hotel was one of the nicest rooms we've stayed in, especially for the price. Everything was upgraded beautifully. I couldn't […] think of anything else a hotel room could need. The only complaints that we have was that they were still working out some kinks with the TV's as the one that we had in our room was in store demo and kept having advertisements pop up which they were unable to fix. There is no movie service currently but they do offer a DVD player in the room if you'd like to bring/rent a movie. There is also an automatic air freshener in the room that sprays somewhat loudly which can be a bit of a nuisance. Other than those few things we loved the hotel and would definitely stay again. This hotel is brand new and was wonderful! We had a little trouble checking in because we got in town early and wanted to check in earlier. We were told by the hotel that we couldn't and weren't given any alternatives (I.e. Leave our bags and/or use amenities). The hotel was nice just to look at and lay back. They had a remote that was suppose to control everything from the TV, DVD, Ipod, etc. Unfortunately the remote did not work. The TV kept going out. The Ipod feature did not even work they had to bring a clock radio with Ipod capibilty. After all that I did not even bother using the DVD. The bathroom had […] small ants crawling everywhere. The pool should not even be featured as an amenity becauseit is only two feet deep. The pool should be labeled as a baby pool. When I swam laps my had dragged across the bottom of the pool. There is no gym or business center which was kind of disappointing. The balcony tables and chairs for the room were full of rust. We had a great stay at Prime. We had a private dinner on the roof on a Friday night, looking out over Ocean Drive and the ocean itself. Great service and great people top to bottom all around the hotel. We felt very welcome and would go back in a second the next time we are in town. The area around Prime is part of a nice redevelopment of the SoFi part […] of South Beach and is less touristy than up North of 5th. The hotel offers NO amentities. It is a hotel (small boutique hotel) above a crowded and loud restaurant.. It is in the very south side of South Beach; not a great location. There were some great high points to the hotel, it has a very sophisticated masculine feel. We did, however, have an issue with a fairly large cockroach in our room on the first morning, and although the front desk brought up two men to deal with it quickly, it left us a little afraid to step out onto the floor and a bit skewed out for the rest of the […] stay. The amenities are nice, and the sound system in the room is crazy awesome. Service and comfort are great (minus the cockroach), but the hotel claims to offer complimentary beach service through the Hilton, and when we asked, we ended up having to pay for chairs (10 dollars each) and umbrellas (10 dollars) every day with no special rate. The room is very beautiful and we loved the feel of it even with the high price tag. House keeping left something to be desired, leaving us with only one robe for two people after the first night, and never replacing simple things like shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper without having to call the front desk for special requests. Once we were finally in our room, the previous tenant still had items in the safe! The manager let him into the room while our friend was napping! Also "room service" took a full hour because it was just food from local restaurants delivered as take out. Lovely room, bad service.

Prime is, ironically, in the most prime location in Miami. It's right in the heart of South Beach, and where all the action is. We arrived to be greeted by the friendly reception who then personally escorted us to our room, and showed us through everything. The room was beyond stunning. As we were traveling with our two year old toddler, when I saw […] all the white I was slightly concerned... but it wasn't an issue at all. We were greeted with homemade white chocolate and macadamia cookies and a personal note, which made us feel all warm & fuzzy {and our tummies all happy too!}. The king bed was sensational to sleep in too. We were definitely in the heart of it all. Prime owns a few restaurants around South Beach all within minutes of the room, so we had the choice of either eating at the restaurants or we could get room service from them. If we didn't have our daughter we would have tried the restaurant downstairs {although many families ate there}, but instead we ate at Big Pink and also had it delivered. Delicious and affordable! The streets were busy all night, and I did worry that with a room facing the street that we'd be awake all night with the noise, but we couldn't hear a single thing. We were amazed. We could people watch at night and be part of the action, but when it was sleep time... we closed the doors. Silence! Prime is close to the beach, but their rooftop pool was our highlight. Very nice hotel. A little farther south than I had expected but still a great place. My only complaint is the description says every room has a balcony which they do not. I arrived at the hotel and tried to switch but it was sold out so that was a bummer. Other than that, clean place, friendly staff, and gorgeous rooms.

First, I must let you know...We have traveled the world, including Miami in the past. And this hotel was perfect! This may be a small hotel, but big in the area of service. The room was smaller, but nicely decorated and airy. The bathroom was spa-like with contemporary fixtures (rainfall shower) and faux leather walls, with a TV. Large 55" HD flat screen […] in the bedroom. Refrigerator and microwave with mini bar. Plently of outlets for the traveler with laptop. The bed was extremely comfortable. Rooms do not really have an ocean view...maybe a "partial" ocean view, but still nice views. One of the big "secrets" is to place a food order thru the front desk to the Big Pink and have it delivered to your room or pool. Pool area is very sleek and relaxing. Pool is just a "dipping" pool, which is perfect for cooling down. Hotel bar and staff were great! Very attentive and friendly. The bar and lounge was only open in the evening. The only downside when checking in...There is not a "main" entrance to the hotel..so as long as you know this ahead of time, you'll be fine. We were dropped off in front of Prime 112 restaurant being told that the hotel was to the left. A bit confusing at first, as there is no clearly marked sign. Once entering the building, we were immediately greeted by the reception staff. However, we were standing in the middle of an empty dining room. I guess I expected a lobby of some sort. But, no […] matter. We were brought up to our room by the lovely Jessica. The room was GORGEOUS. Windows on two walls, balcony right above the street level, amazing showerhead and tile in the bathroom, even an espresso/cappuccino maker(great for a perk up after that disco nap)! Easy to walk to everything, yet just a bit quieter than other areas of SoBe, which was nice. The only thing, when you come down the elevator, you have to walk between the waiter's station and the bar to exit the building. Now, I've been in the service industry for a very long time and I LOVE this kind of stuff. Makes me feel like I'm right in the middle of the action. And my bar is right below me? Brilliant! Prime Hotel is a wonderful little boutique hotel hidden above the amazing Prime Lounge/Prime 112. The room was eclectic and very high tech. The roof top lounging area was very relaxing, and it was nice to watch the scene arriving at Prime Italian from above. The experience was delightful!

Man skal lige vænne sig til, at receptionen ligger i hotellets restaurant, og man skal vade forbi spisende gæster for at komme hen til elevatoren. Men ellers er Prime et superlækkert hotel med store værelser, der er yderst flot indrettet, en skøn altan, stort badeværelse og ikke mindst en skøn tagterrasse med pool og delvis udsigt ud over havet.

A pesar de ser un excelente hotel, con buen servicio y grandiosos restaurantes, tienen un problema con plagas, ya que todos los días en el baño del cuarto salían cucarachas pequeñas del lavabo, supongo que se debía a la gran cantidad de restaurantes que tiene el hotel, y el servicio del valet tarda de 10 a 15 minutos en entregar el automovil, fuera […] de eso, es un gran hotel para quedarse. Das Hotel ist alles in allem schön, allerdings gibt es einige nicht ganz so gut gelöste Punkte: Die Rezeption ist mittem im Restaurant. Es gibt nur Abendessen, allerdings ist während dieser Zeit niemand für Hotelgäste ansprechbar, bzw. wenn, dann sehr kurz angebunden, da sie oder er ebenfalls das Restaurant mit betreut. Ebenso können die Zimmer nur […] durch das Restaurant betreten werden, welches immer sehr gut besucht war. Etwas unangenehm, wenn man vom Strand oder dergleichen kommt. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist klein und nicht sehr tief - für Schwimmer nicht geeignet - auch gibt es hier keinerlei Bar oder dergleichen - nur einen Wasserspender. Es gibt nur wenige Liegemöglichkeiten - allerdings war die Terrasse während unseren Aufenthalts auch nicht stark frequentiert. Der Strand ist nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und geradlinig eingerichtet - äußerst ansprechend. Ein Flatscreen hängt an der Wand im Zimmer und im Bad ebenso gibt es überall Musik. Leider funktionierte die Fernbedienung ebenso wie der Safe bei unserem Eintreffen nicht, wurde aber mit etwas Zeitverzögerung behoben. Jedes Zimmer hat einen kleinen Balkon, sehr nett. Das einzige wirklich unangenehme waren am ersten Tag Kakerlaken im Flur - wir sind dann vom 1. in den 3. Stock umgezogen. Danach war alles in Ordnung. Devamı

L'entrée dans l'hotel se fait exclusivement par le restaurant toujours bondé et peu acceuillant. Lorrs de notre séjour (avril 2012) un grans chantier de construction était directement attenant à l'hotel qui a bien passé ce détail sous silence. Notre chambre située dans la partie secondaire de l'hotel (Brown Hotel) était confortable mais très sombre […] et très bruyante. Après 5 jours, pour notre dernière nuit, nous avons enfin été relogés dans la partie principale avec une chambre bien plus lumineuse et confortable. Avis très mitigé sur le personnel de l'hotel qui n'était ni specialement aceuillant ni à l'écoute. Néanmoins le manager qui nous a acceuilli lors de notre dernière nuit était très professionel et très aimable. Sur 6 nuits nous aurions souhaité avoir eu le service et la chambre qui nous a été attribué lors de notre dernière journée. Devamı
