I changed from Star Hotel to this Hotel right beside the Guangzhou Train Station East, whch is about 100 M stroll from the Guangzhou Train Stattion. Boy was I surprised at how nice this Hotel was as compared to other nearby Hotels for nearly the same price. Rooms were clean. modern, and guests were professionally welcomed. There was a Business event […] in the hotel with welcome drinks, finger food, and entertainment for Canton Fair Guests that made my visit perfect. I met personally with the General Manger, Charles Yeung who made all efforts to make me feel welcome and part of this Hotel's professional approach towards international business travelers. In comparison it is clear this Hotel is now going to be my home in this city from now on. We have an enjoyable time staying at Jianguo hotel. The staff are extremely helpful, cheerful and friendly. They helped us to book train tickets to HK, greet n smile at us whenever we met them and often asked us how's our day. It is such attentiveness and eager to serve service staff that makes such a big difference to choose to stay with them. The […] hotel is also in an excellent location, with the subway just next door and GZ east railway across the roads. Location is excellent, right across the road from the subway and railway system so you can go anywhere in the city or beyond. It is located in a very pleasant part of Guangzhou. In terms of value for money it could not be better. People rave about the breakfast on this site but I found that while there was a lot on offer the actual quality is not terrific, […] so I would recommend you book the room only rate and go into the community for breakfast at half the price or less. The rooms seem to have been updated recently so other than the somewhat early 90s lobby and main dining room it has an almost new feel to it on the residential floors. The Westin is two minutes away which costs two to three times as much but does not give such value for money as this hotel. I will definitely stay there again in my next visit to the city Devamı

overall great but you must bundle up while eating breakfast in the morning while using the indoor brealfast buffet they keep the front lobby doors wide open and it males the lobby downstairs and the b-fast buffet 2nd floor in the high 40's - mid fifties (and thats in doors during the winter months !!! crazy why they leave the "barn doors wide open !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! […] i had business meetings in their main lobby lounge while it was 7pm after a long days work and it was 45- 50 degrees in the lobby !!!!! crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hotel was clean, well maintained, and as close to the Guangzhou East train & Metro stations as possible. Hotel provided complimentary shuttle bus to the Pazhou fairgrounds for the Canton Fair attendees. Very welcome after a long day walking the halls.

It was just OK - We chose this hotel probably because breakfast was included and would give the food a 4 star but the hotel room was lacking. It was a little old and smelled of smoke and the carpet was worn. It served our needs as we were there for the Canton Fair, but probably wouldn't choose it again.

This is my second stay in this property. Impression from my previous stay was quite good so I have decided to return this time. Despite it was a busy period (Trade Fair), quality of service was as excellent as off-peak time. Very nice location in Guangzhou, metro is few feet away, large underground mall almost in fron t of the Hotel. KFC, Pizza Hut, just few feet away. Nice buffet breakfast from 6:30AM to 10:30AM While choossing a room, ask for a front side room so you can get a good view of the city. Very nice stay. Staff requested that I change rooms so that they could complete minor carpet repairs. They upgraded my room for a period of 5 days so that they could complete the repairs rather than wait until I vacated the room. Very good breakfast selections.

Always stay here when I'm traveling alone. Easy access to Metro/Trains. Quick and good fast food across the street. Jusco supermarket in train station. IKEA down the block if you need a cheap ice cream...or furniture. Expensive during Canton Fair, but so is everything else. Breakfast buffet is good.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I have stayed everywhere, and in places much more expensive, but this hotel beats them all. The staff could not have been more helpful, particularly the concierge, who located where to buy things I needed, explained to taxi drivers where I was going, and recommended great places to eat. The breakfast […] buffet was great, and they had their own espresso machine, so no need to suffer with brewed coffee. I would have rated 'conformt of your room' 5 if the hotel has maintained a cooler temperature but then this is us as we like our room to be cool. A convenient hotel that was fantastic for it's value. We had a little trouble checking in as they seemed to have lost our confirmation from Hotels.com, but they promptly fixed this. Our room was spacious and clean, and the free breakfast was nice. The location is perfect with accessible distance to subway, east railway station and terminals of many buses. It is also very close to a big supermarket. The service is good with clean room, friendly staff and super breakfast. The only inconvenience is taking the elevator to above 23rd floor which usually requires transfer of the elevator.

Staff went out of their way to help me with language issues. Very courteous. Hotel food is a bit on the high side if all else fails theres always KFC and McDonalds, 7-11 and starbucks outside hotel. GZ railway East across street. Amazing breakfast, better than 5 star hotels ive stayed in before. Returning to GZ soon, will stay here

Although not an international chain hotel, Jianguo is comparablet to all the other 5* international hotel I have stayed. It also has the best location, just across from the railway station and a huge underground mall. Breakfast is also very good with lots of variety to choose from, truly an international buffet breakfast. Please try their Japanese Restaurant […] also. traffic: very close to the subway station and a bus depot, so traffic to city centre is very easy; location: although there is a shopping complex and a couple fast food chains opposite the road, but there is basically no where to have just normal food. room: we stayed in a standard room, which was very old with stained walls and chipped furniture.
