A good value hotel in a nice area, within walking disance and easily accessible from the centre. The room smelled a little bit funny, like wunderbaum and cigarrettes. It's possible that the smell came from the air conditioning. The room was small (I guess all the rooms in Amsterdam are) and the bathroom freezing cold (in december). Stayed two nights and found if clean with polite and helpful personnel but with the tiniest rooms ever ...

The hotel was small, but quite nice. It is located in a very nice neighborhood next to the park. It was a bit of a ride into the main tourist section of amsterdam, but it was also much calmer than most areas. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for nice, clean and simple room for a little less than that of the tourist areas.

This is a good place to stay if you don't mind being a little way from the centre. The compensation is that it's in a residential area, next to the Vondelpark, with a lot of restaurants nearby and a tram to the centre from a stop 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is fine, with a good breakfast buffet. My only complaint would be that when we arrived, our […] room had 2 broken lightbulbs, and lacked large towels and some coffee making supplies. Nice comfortable hotel, in quiet convient ocation.

We were pretty happy with our 4 night stay. The room was very small - barely enough room for my girlfriend's oversized suitcase. But the rooms were clean, the bathroom was fine and the staff were always happy to help (the reception is staffed 24 hours a day). The location is pretty good too. Although you're just outside the central canal belt it is […] only a 20 minute walk through the rather charming Vondel Park to get there. There are nearby trams if you're feeling lazy. Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum are close too. Finally, you can get the 197 bus from the airport which drops you off nearby - much cheaper than the shuttle bus. If you don't mind a tiny room then I'd say it makes a pretty good bolt-hole for a short stay. Devamı

Hotel Central Park isn't central to Vondelpark (it's on the far southwest tip), and the park isn't central to Amsterdam, but despite the misleading name, this is a very comfortable hotel in a nice quiet neighborhood with good access to public transit. Stayed there in April 2011 for four nights at the fourth floor (5th by US standards) and booked two rooms. The neighborhood is good, a nice residential area ~ 20 min away by tram (1, 2 and 16) from the center. 1 way 1h ticket is 2.60 Euros. There is a small groceries store 5 min walk from the store. The rooms are quite small by US standard, if you place […] an airline suitcase on the floor you barely have room to pass near it. I was told there might be some rooms a little bit larger. The doors hit a small closet. One of the room had main door and bathroom door squeaking and barely closing without force. The other one had the shower drainage clogged and water will flow in the room. The staff took note about these issues but did not fix them during the stay. Other construction workers nearby start making a lot of noise ~ 7.30 am and stop by 5.30 pm. The free wireless Internet was barely moving during "normal hours". Occupancy appeard very high. We had a teriffic stay at this little hotel. Great value. Nice area just off the park. Highly recommended.

Having been to Amsterdam over 20 times thru the years, I have stayed at everything from a 20 room hostel to 5 star hotels. Hotel Central Park is far & away the best one. It's in a quiet neighborhood right next door to Vondelpark, a groovy coffeeshop, an Albert Heijn supermarket, and countless affordable restaurants yet just steps from the #2 Tram line […] & #358 Night Bus line if you want to visit the Red Light District or head back to Centraal Station (about 20 minutes via tram). Both the front desk and housekeeping staff could not have been friendlier. The room was HUGE with probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, countless cable channels on the HDTV, free wifi, coffee/tea maker and a great shower & bathroom. Overall the hotel was alright. It is very far from the canals and very far from city center unless you take public transportation. We booked this hotel because the website stated that all rooms come with kitchens. None of the rooms come with kitchens so we were very disappointed on arrival. The neighborhood is residential so it is nice and quiet. Internet […] in the room was a plus. The rooms are EXTREMELY small, no room to move around. The beds are really small and we had a hard time sleeping even though the beds are comfortable. Staff was nice and pleasant. There are better places to stay in Amsterdam with a better location and better room for the same price. When we go back we won't stay here again. Devamı

To start with, NO this hotel is not in the city centre, so if you want the madness of the centre it isn't for you. However for us, it was in a perfect location, a lovely quiet residential area, 30 seconds walk from the gorgeous Vondelpark. To get to the centre it's a short tram ride away, and if you get yourselves the all in 1 GVB travel card you ride […] the trams for free, also included is the return train journey from the airport, which was 25 mins from leaving to the door of the hotel. The rooms were lovely, nice and clean with a good bathroom (not shared) with everything we needed, including air con which was fab as it was around 28 degrees during our stay! The staff were all very friendly and helpful which helps when you've not visited the city before. Also within a few minutes walk are a supermarket & selection of restaurants. Very nice hotel. Though, be aware that on Bing Maps, which Hotel.com uses there is a subway station nearby, but if you will check it on Google Maps it is not there. In fact, there is no subway station nearby, though tram stops (1, 2 and 17) are nearby and it takes approximately 25-30 mins to get to Central Station.

Vi var ett par. som bestillte ett rom med dobbeltseng. Veldig lite rom, men badet var stort, men manglet gulvvarme, og sluket var i hvertfall ikke på det laveste punktet, og en svaber kunne gjort seg, og det var kaldt både på badet og på rommet. På rommet sto det en vifteovn, og det var ett aggregat i taket, men begge bråket for mye til at de kunne […] brukes. Døgnåpen resepsjon med hyggelig betjening.Lå i ett meget rolig strøk og bra med kommunikasjoner ganske nærme. Bra fokost og ett pluss for at frokosten varte fra kl. 7 til 11 x 7. Alt i alt så er dette ett hotell jeg ikke vil anbefale vidre, men det er jo våres subjektive mening. Mener også at det feil opplysninger om rommet i beskivelsen fra Hotels.com og de faktiske forhold på rommet. Devamı

Vi er er veldig fornøyd med oppholdet på hotellet. Hyggelige og ligger i stille omgivelser. Det ligger bare noen minutters gange fra trikk 2 som går veldig ofte, og tar oss med til sentrum. Frokosten er også bra. Anbefales!!

Ligger i et stille kvarter ca. 5 km. fra centrum. Muligt at parkere udenfor hotellet, men der skal betales i parkometer. Ca. 1 km. til billigere P-hus. Tæt på gade med mange spisesteder og lokalt supermarked. Flink betjening, små men pæne værelser. Lille lokale til morgenmad, som ikke var overvældende. Fint sted som overnatningsbase.

Personnel aimable, serviable. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Literie propre et confortable. Quartier et hôtel très calmes, en bordure du Vondel Park. Tram N°2 à proximité de l'hôtel ; desserte fréquente, aucun problème pour aller en ville. Le seul défaut : chambre et salle de bain exigües.

Habitaciones pequeñas pero cómodas, buena atencion, recomendable tres b bueno bonito barato

O Hotel é bom porém os quartos são pequenos. O café da manhã é bom e havia bons meios de ligação ao centro e locais de meu interesse.

Hôtel très calme, la literie est est peu molle mais confortable. A seulement 15 mn du centre d'amsterdam en auto, et près du parc vondelpark pour accéder au musée Van Gogh

Hinta/laatu-suhde todella hyvä. Huone siisti mutta aika pieni, ilmeisesti vasta remontoitu. Aamupala hyvä ja runsas.Henkilökunta kielitaitoista, ystävällistä ja palvelu pelasi.Raitiovaunu linja 2 parin korttelin päässä. Matka keskustaan raitiovaunulla keski noin 15 minuuttia.

Et lille hotel med små fine værelser og en hyggelig beliggenhed sengene var dog efter vores smag i den bløde ende. Personalet var flinke, når man henvendte sig. Sammenlagt et fint hotel der levede op til forventningerne om et 3 stjernet hotel.

Albergo tranquillo, silenzioso, in zona residenziale. Ho trovato tutto quello che era descritto (cassa forte, tv..) unica pecca?la moquette in tutto l'albergo che io non amo molto

Hotellet ligger i et dejligt og stille nabolag, personalet var flinke, værelset var småt, men fint og rent plus der var et dejligt badeværelse. Vil helt klart anbefale hotellet til andre.

Die Zimmer sind klein, aber gemütlich. Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Wohnhausgegend, und an der Straßenbahn, die 10-15 Minuten in die Innenstadt braucht. Wir waren zufrieden mit dem Service und der Sauberkeit.

DAs Hotel ist schön gelegen, gut erreichbar, sauber und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war klein.

Das Hotel bietet für alle Gäste, die nicht unmittelbar im Stadtzentrum etwas suchen, die perfekte Lage. Sehr schöne, grüne, ruhige Wohngegend, direkt am Vondelpark (durch den man gemütlich ins Zentrum spazieren kann). Ansonsten Straßenbahn 2 in ca. 15-20 Minuten direkt zum Hauptbahnhof. Bodde här 2 nätter, hade inga höga förväntningar efterssom man brukar få vad man betalar för & detta hotell va ganska billigt. Men jag & sambon blev mkt positivt överraskade, väldigt bra läge i ett trevligt område & rent, modernt & fräscht (men lite litet) rum. Hotellet har 2 p-platser, men infarten till dessa är TRÅNG !!! Hade 2 cm på varje sida om […] min bil när jag körde in. Kommer bo här igen när jag besöker amsterdam. Devamı

Hotellet var helt fint og var nemt at komme til med offentlig transportmiddel.

Voor iedereen die hier gaat boeken, zorg dat je van kamer wisselt als je kamer 101/201/301 toegewezen krijgt. Ik heb een badkamer die groter is dan deze kamers. Met een formaat van ca. 9 m² en een kleine aparte douche/toilet houdt het qua ruimte niet over. De bedden zijn net 1.40 m breed, wat ook al niet echt bijzonder is. Meest vervelende is de douche. […] Aangezien er geen douchewand in zit, of een opstaande rand, is het douchegordijn het enige dat wat water tegen moet houden. Nadat iemand gedouchd heeft staat er een laag van 1 cm water op de vloer. Bij het vertrek heb ik een andere kamer gezien die wel een douchewand heeft, dus hebben wij gewoon de pech gehad om een inloopkast gehuisvest te zijn geweest. De omgeving, net naast het Vondelpark in Oud-Zuid is natuurlijk wel mooi! En voor ons, was 1 nacht nog wel vol te houden. Parkeren op het terrein van het hotel is overigens niet mogelijk, aangezien ze schijnbaar maar 3 plaatsen hebben. Parkeren voor de deur is vrij prijzig. Maar ja, dat is Amsterdam. Devamı

+ : hotel bien situé et calme, équipe souriante - : chambre petite, matelas trop mou

hotel confortavel, banheiros reformados, evite ficar no terreo, pois o carpete e alto, cortina pesada e não eh possivel abrir as janelas.. staff muito educado e prestativo, bem localizado, conseguimos fazer tudo a peh, sem usar bondinho..

Detta hotell är mycket prisvärt. Rent och fräscht, och ligger i ett lugnt och fint område. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummen är små, men fräscha. För den prislappen man betalar rekommenderas detta hotell.

Jeg hadde bare en natt på hotellet, men møtte smilende personale i resepsjonen morgen og kveld. De var svært hjelpsomme med alle spørsmål jeg hadde, og jeg fikk til og med et egettegnet kart av resepsjonisten som forklarte veien til flybussen. Rommet var noe lite, men det var et stort PLUSS at det var dobbelseng.

Schoon, kamer is klein, prettige service, goeie rustige locatie. Normaal mr goed onbijt. Prijs kwaliteit klopt prima! Ik zou er terug gaan bij een volgend kort bexoek van 1 a 2 nachten
