Welk Resort Sirena del Mar - Cabo San Lucas

Overall a very nice resort. As in many of the reviews, food very pricey. Went to Walmart and did some shopping as suggested. Had breakfast in the room every day. Staff very friendly and great. Bus to downtown $1.00.....taxi $15.....no brainier bus!!!!!

I was very impressed with the hotel... the room was so beautiful that we extended our stay. And the service was wonderful as well. A great place to relax & enjoy some downtime with a fantastic view. I was impressed with the care that the staff gave me, when I injured myself.

The Welk was a beautiful resort it was about a 10 min drive from town which was fine for us being that town was very busy with Spring Breakers. We went with our kids 16 and 8 and they had a blast. The resort is small so there is no saving of pool chairs and you get to know the staff very well. I would definantly stay at this resort again. We went in mid-March and the weather was beautiful. This resort is hands down the best resort I have ever been to in my life. I've been to Atlantis in the Bahamas, Ritz in Maui but the views and resort staff was the best in the world. The Hotel was just gorgeous. The view is as if it is from a postcard. I stayed there for the last two days of a 9 day Cabo vacation. Previous to arriving at this beautiful hotel, my husband and I were at a typical large "all inclusive" hotel with a large group of people. The large resort was fun, non-stop partying atmosphere, and not all that spectacular. […] Sirena Del Mar was a breath of fresh air after our crazy week. The deluxe room was beautiful with a full kitchen living area and whirlpool tub in bedroom. All with beautiful decor. The pool area was so peaceful and scenic it was like a slice of heaven. The staff was very polite and always there for anything we needed. The fish tacos at the pool bar were perfect (watch out for the habenero sauce). A fabulous resort. Extremely comfortable accomodations, great service and even a sales staff that is considerate of your time. A wonderful vacation spot.

The rooms were amazing and have excellent views (even of the arch). The pools were perfect, but my favorite thing about sirena del mar is the crystal clear private sandy beach you can snorkel at. We even saw several humpback whales from the beach and our hotel room balcony. One last bonus is the washing machine/dryer in each room. Employees were amazing, […] especially Antonio and Francisco. This hotel is a timeshare mainly hotel I think. Each room has AMAZING ocean views with washer and dryer and kitchen and dining area. The inifinity pools are clean and beautiful with views of El Arco in the background, but since the hotel is on a cliff, the winds are a bit strong and cold. The private beach is pretty too but rocky with semi strong waves. […] The rooms are all new with pretty decor (altho the bed is way too hard & the sheets have a rough starchy feel) The main thing that sort of ruined my view of this hotel is the restaurant. The food is way overpriced and just plain bad tasting (i ordered pasta that tasted like ragu and overdone ziti and french toast that they smeared a sour banana spread inbtwn that tasted horrible. No syrup either.). And you better look at the receipt carefully because they tried to overcharge us twice (the menus listed cheaper prices than what they tried to charge). According to them, they just recently changed the menus, but this happened twice so you'd think after the first time, they'd go thru the menus to make sure they had the right ones. But even so, they never apologized either times for the mix up and instead made us feel like we were trying to jip them. Also the waiter service is awful. The first time, he brought the wrong dish. Then never checked up to see if we needed water or anything else. Then the next day, I witnessed them mixing up another person's order as well but they kept insistng it was right. We got fed up and decide to order delivery from then on instead of dealing with the restaurant (since we didn't have a car) I also didn't like how we needed to deposit our Credit card # or $150 cash upfront before we checked in. Some people may like this cuz then you don't have to carry $$ around & just charge to your room, but I'd like the option to choose then having this as a requirement. If you don't have a car, the location is inconvenient. You're basically stuck at the hotel and have to use their overpriced services a Devamı

The resort is a 5 star resort. The rooms are huge with a perfect view of the ocean crashing on the rocks. Short walk to a private cove, where you can swim with the fish. The pool and views are breathtaking. The restaurant just up the road is a postive experience you won't forget. When in Cabo stay at the Welk Sirena del Mar.

The most beautiful views I have ever seen. I will go back for a longer stay soon.

My husband and I stayed in the one bedroom villa ocean front. GREAT VIEWS!!! The rooms are brand new and have comfortable modern style furniture. I love the infinity pool and the bar at the pool. My favorite was relaxing on a hammock while watching views of the ocean, having a beer at the spacious patio with nice furniture, using the exercise room every […] morning, having a massage in the cabana by the sea and of course swimming in the infinity pool and drinking margarita at the poolside bar. Also, the staff - Chef Javier, Manny, and everyone - the concierge, the doorman gave excellent VIP service. They were courteous and polite. Chef Javier' s mole sauce is delicious!!!! The private beach is awesome. There is a taxi service to downtown and it cost $15. We didn't mind because we would rather not stay at the busy Downtown where vendors were consistently trying to get you to buy something. La Sirena is a very nice. It's popular for couples. Sirena del Mar is a beautiful new property. The units were absolutely spotless and gorgeously furnished--both classy and comfortable--with many amenities, such as washer/dryer and two flat screen televisions. The grounds and pool areas were also very beautiful, with unbeatable ocean views. Staff were also very pleasant and helpful. A few considerations, […] though not necessarily "bad" things: (1) as another reviewer pointed out, it's not easy to find; the address is really not accurate. It's not on the main highway, it's at the end of a side street, and not at the mile marker listed! (2) there was no cleaning service during the stay (which we didn't mind, as we were only there for 2 nights and are pretty clean), (3) the food options on site are very limited and very pricey! If we had been staying longer than 2 nights, we would have bought groceries and made use of the beautiful and well-stocked kitchen, (4) There are no real restaurant options within walking distance, and a cab ride to downtown Cabo is not cheap...definitely recommend the local bus for this, which was only 80 cents (though you have to hoof up the hill a bit to the main highway, and the bus is definitely not a modern one!), (5) The beach associated with hotel is a small cove like area nestled between rocky cliffs, not very inviting, (6) When I checked in, the hotel charged me an upfront amount for expected incidentals...I wasn't acquainted with this practice, but they answered all my questions/concerns, and I did end up charging that amount to the room. All in all, a beautiful place; I would definitely recommend!!! Devamı

Everything was beautiful, the only thing that would be nice is if they could make the room daily. There is no clean service for the room after you check in but everything on the hotel is beutiful. Its worth every penny.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Open only a year and extremely well kept. The ground were spectacular on edge of cliff.Two beautiful pools and a jacuzzi. Well designed sun bathing areas so felt very private. Very relaxing but very quiet not a place if you want action. Staff extremely friendly and helpful and no pressure to buy a time share which had put me […] off other hotels I had looked at on Trip Advisor. Only problem was that dinner is only served at week-ends. There is one restaurant within walking distance but it is a good half mile walk in dark. Just returned from a four night stay at Sirena Del Mar. This was our first time to Cabo and we had an amazing time. We had read many of the excellent reviews about this hotel on tripadvisor and found them to be spot on. Beautiful, modern 1 bedroom suite, complete with a galley kitchen and a sitting area -- two flat screens as well. Pool and spa are lovely -- very much a boutique property. We did have issues with the wireless connection in our room -- but there are two PCs and a printer in the lobby that are free of charge. Beautiful place, brand new rooms as of 12/09, wonderful pools! No restaurant or bar after 5PM on weekdays, wonderful grills to use if you like your own cooking! Would be a great place to visit with the entire family! Nice workout facility, with top of the line elipticals and treadmills, nice weight equipment as well. Pools are great, but not much social […] activity, although Manny tries! Again a great place for a big group, not a singles place... Sneak into "ME" if you want a party! Beach not swimable, dont even try! Go downtown, take a water Taxi to Lovers Beach or drive to San Juan. Love the staff! Staff was so great! Domingo, Cesar, Carlos, Manny all so friendly and helpful! Este es un hotel que vende semanas compartidas, y tiene como estrategia promover en sus huespedes que hagan buenos comentarios en Tripadvisor, pero realmente no merece estar de primeros en su calificación, porque para no como turista eso es una buena guía, pero este hotel esta muy lejos de merecer ese ranking en una ciudad tan turística como Cabo San […] Lucas, incluso es necesario asumir un sobrecosto diario para tener housekeeping. Das Hotel liegt an einem ca. 30Km langen Streifen an der Baja California und ist ca. 10 Minuten von Cabo san Lucas entfernt. Zu Fuss kann man vom Hotel aus nicht wirklich viel erreichen, allerdings kann man schnell mit dem Taxi für 15 USD nach Cabo fahren oder nimmt ganz günstig den Bus. Freizeitaktivitäten gibt es ausreichend von Schnorcheln bis hin […] zu zahlreichen sehr gepflegten Golfplätzen. Das Hotel ist mit etwas über 30 grosszügig geschnittenen Zimmern eher klein und beschalich im Vergleich zu den grossen Hotels an diesem Küstenstreifen. Man ist dort sehr intim aufgehoben, was zu einer guten Erholung beiträgt. Ein gut ausgestatteter Fitnessraum mit Blick auf das Meer und ein schöner Pool ebenso wie ein kleiner aber feiner Strand runden den Aufenthalt dort ab. Besonders herausragend ist das Personal, das extrem um den Gast bemüht ist und den Aufenthalt perfekt machen. Dass die Zimmer nur ein mal pro Woche gereinigt werden stört überhaupt nicht ( ausreichend Handtücher zum Wechseln vorhanden und am Pool/Strand extra welche). Wenn man doch den Zimmerservice extra braucht, berechnet das Hotel ca. 12 USD extra. Das Restaurant bietet traditionelles mexikanisches Essen und ist sehr gut. Auf sein kontinentales Frühstück muss man aber auch dort nicht verzichten. Möchte man doch auf eigene Faust Ausflüge machen, so ist einem der Concierge bei der Organisation behilflich und ein Leihwagen kann schnell zum Hotel gebracht werden. Die Taxifahrt vom Flughafen zum Hotel kostet 80 USD pauschal mit dem Taxi, zurück über das Hotel gebucht ist es günstiger. Das Hotel verfügt über einen kleinen Shop, in dem man von Kaltgetränken über Filterkaffee bis hin zu Sonnencreme alles notwendige für zwischendurch bekommt. Ansonsten kann man bei dem Wunsch sich selbst zu verpflegen den nahegelegenen Walmart aufsuchen. Cabo selber ist ein hübscher Ort mit vielen Restaurants und Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Devamı

2011年GWにプレミアオーシャンフロントに2泊しました。開業から間もないこともあり、部屋もキッチンも非常にきれいで快適でした。妻はジャグジーを楽しんでいました。二期工事中で現在は36室しかないのと、客層が年配の方と家族連れ中心であったため、滞在中は非常に静かでした。 レストランは午後5時までの営業のため、夕食は外に行くか、自炊することになります。このホテルは市街地からも幹線道路からも離れており、移動手段がないと厳しいかも知れません（私達はレンタカーを借りました）。その分静かな環境に恵まれている訳ですが。近くにWalmartがあるため、食料品（パン類含む）や酒類が米国並みに手に入ります。 唯一の難点は１Ｆの部屋だったせいか蚊が多かったことだけです。気になる方は日本から殺虫剤を持参された方がよ […] いかと思います。 眺望も恵まれていて、非常に満足しました。お勧めです。 Devamı
