The Lawn Guest House - Horley

Although we were there for a short while, basically we had a family function to attend we only needed the bed for the night. The location was convieniant for where we had to go. We were looked after very well.

The Lawn is a clean, tidy traditional style guest house.Its family owned and the proprietor is courteous and helpful. The Lawn really "got it" as far as being a traditional English guest house - old photographs, pink and lace table cloths, toast racks, tea in ceramic pots.

A quaint friendly establishment, simple but met my needs. The room was clean. I only met one staff, but he was helpful in arranging for my cab to the airport.

We stayed at the Lawn Guest House for 1 night before the early flight in the morning & was happy with the experience. With some check in confusion the stay was otherwise pleasant. Quiet & simple you couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was good & checkout was a breeze. Would come back for sure.

We recently stayed at the Lawn Guest House when stopping through Gatwick Airport on the way back home to the US. My kids just stayed just one night before their flight back to California, but my wife and I had an extra day before our flight back to Georgia. The hotel is run by an extremely friendly family and they did an excellent job servicing the […] hotel and morning breakfast. Although close to the airport, we did not even notice any airplane noise. We walked to the small town square in Horley to visit some shops and then spent some of the afternoon reading and having tea in the nice lawn next to the home/hotel. This is a guest house not a hotel as such. It is great value, clean and comfortable but with limited facilities. Great value for money and very helpful, friendly owners. Free shuttle to Gatwick. I will definately always use this guest house again. Love it.

I stayed here my first night in London simply because I flew in late and it is located very near the Gatwick airport. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a really nice place to spend the night. My only complaint is the old style shower. I had a hard time at first figuring out how it worked, then the hot water cycled through […] in a way that it was always either freezing or scalding hot. It sort of felt like punishment. This is more a B&B than a hotel. Very basic and narrow. No bar. Plus for free WiFi.

A pleasant and picturesque small guest house near Gatwick Airport. Horley railway station, just walk away. We agreed to place a few days trip to London, excellent. Service was friendly and effective. We experienced no noise or disturbance to sleep and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Very good price-quality ratio.
