Nb S Guesthouse - Edinburgh

The bed was super comfortable and massive; the best sleep we've had for a long time in a hotel/guest house! The staff were ever so willing to help, even if it didn't always come out the way you wanted to - the staff always did their best to help. Within 10 minutes you were in the heart of Edinburgh (Old Town), and having come from a hotel that was twice […] as expensive, this guest house was a great little find. The only regret was that the room didn't have a desk which would've been handy, and occasionally it took more than a reasonable time to try to hunt down the hair dryer, of which they had two in the whole house! We wouldn't think twice about going back there, if we could get the same room. Devamı

room was very small , en-suite was tiny it measured about 2 feet across , there was no room to turn . we ordered breakfast as requested the night before , but had to wait over half hour . this place was just a B&B ( breakfast was an optional extra ) it should not be listed on your hotel's.com website .

This would have been good value if we hadn't paid the extra charge for an ensuite room. The bathroom was tiny and looked as if it had been built inside a wardrobe: advanced contortionist skills a must!However, we had a great view from our room and there is a cheap and frequent bus service into the centre. Unlikely to stay there again but it was OK.

Nb'sis a poor mans backpackers at best. Whilst the staff were lovely and tried to help out where they could, the accomodation was poor. There were 2 wet towels hanging in the room, the wardrobe tipped over when the doors were opened and the radiator cover not attached properly. The price was well over what you would pay for a backpackers but without […] the facilities such as a kitchen to use. A very small room with a basin and that was about it. Definately not worth the money, we stayed in much cheaper hostel with much better facilities. Devamı

After travelling a great distance and a good deal of searching we arrived at Nb's to be told that they could not take us as they were overbooked. They then suggested that we book into the guesthouse next door which was not too our liking. We found accommodation elsewhere outside of Edinburgh. hello its kazi from london,just visited Edinburgh from 18 to 24rth april stayed at NBs guest house.its very good place to stay its like saying in your own house even having a shared bathroom i have no problem what so ever staying with my wife and 3 years old daughter,very nice managers and peacefull as like the city Edinburgh,no complain.high 5!!!

After our 6 hour drive to Edinburgh, we arrived at NB's and walked in to a home made reception desk in the dining room !! Then the gentleman informed us that as we booked online our booking wasn't actioned and they had sold our room over the phone ! The gentleman then said he would go next door and see if they had a room, which they did, but it was […] a lower star rating than NB's and at the end of the day, not what we booked. Ett helt ok vandrarhem 15min gångavstånd från centrum. Vi kom dit ganska sent på kvällen, men bra service med nyckel ändå.

Os textos colocam que eh bem proximo ao centro da cidade. Não é tão próximo assim, tem que se tomar um onibus ou estar disposto a uma boa caminhada. Fora isto o quarto tem banheiro para uso coletivo, nao é suite

Prisvärt litet guesthouse med busshållsplats precis utanför dörren - med andra ord mycket bra kommunikationer både till centrum och Haymarket. Lugnt och fint läge, rena och fina rum samt supertrevlig personal. Rekommenderas varmt!

Maison victorienne sur une avenue très passante, absolument pas entretenue : sale, très bruyante (pas de double vitrage, on dort dans la rue !), mobilier de mauvaise qualité. La salle de bain dans la chambre est très petite, toilettes cassées, évier tenu avec morceaux de bois et impossible de se laver les cheveux dans la douche trop petite !!!!!! Les […] 2 propriètaires vous comptent des frais supplémentaires sans vous avertir (paiement avec CB) et vous mentent sur 1 tas de choses (prix du parking noté sur votre réservation...). NB´s Guesthouse i Edingburgh Hyggeligt guesthouse med rigtig god betjenning og rimelig god beliggenhed. Hotellets faciliteter og generelle tilstand svarer dog ikke til 4 stjerner, mere 2 eller 3 stjerner. Alt i alt havde hele familien dog et rigtigt godt ophold.

We had a really good time in Edinburgh and NB's Guest House was a perfect hotel for us. It's situated near the old town and it was very easy to go by bus to the city centre. The rooms were simple but comfortable. The service was very good and we didn't have any problems during our vacation.

kaikinpuolin asiallinen muutaman yon majapaikka. rauhallinen ja hiljainen sijainti hyvien bussiyhteyksien varrella. voin suositella muillekkin.

Die Fotos suggerieren einen Komfort, der sich vorort nicht finden lässt. Mein Zimmer ist nicht annähernd durch die sonnenbefluteten, lichternen und geräumigen Abbildungen widergegeben. Bspw. suggerieren die Bilder, dass sich eine Toilette/Bad auf den Zimmern befindet. Dies ist aber nicht der Fall. Wir hatten vier (!) Zimmer, die sich eine Toilette und […] Dusche teilen mussten! Das es da schnell zu Engpässen kommen kann, darf angenommen werden.. Devamı

Trevligt, enkelt litet hotell med någorlunda komfortabel promenadsträcka till centrum. Rummet var av lägenhetstyp, dvs. med tillgång till en liten kokvrå, något vi inte hade räknat med.

Fint bed and breakfast, super sød værtsfamilie :-)

Très bon accueil. Une grande chambre avec tout le confort souhaité + salle de bain à l'avenant. Le mobilier est de très bon gout. Le rapport qualité prix est tout à fait satisfaisant.
