Clean room, windows opening so you can breath the city air. Only at 1-2 minute to Taxim square and the metro. 30 seconds to Istiklal street, so that at night is a little noisy, but if you are tired , this really don't matter. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Santa Ottoman hotel. The location is great - one block from famous Taksim Square and Istikal Street. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. This place isn't fancy but the rooms are more than sufficient and are very clean. Good value for money. However, the highlight of this hotel is the sales manager/concierge Kadir. […] He is extremely nice and knowledgable about Istanbul. He single handedly planned multiple activities for our vacation and went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying the city. Everyone staying at this hotel should make sure to befriend Kadir for his great advice/help. We look forward to seeing the Santa Ottoman and Kadir soon. Devamı

I stayed in the santa ottomon for one night on a brief business and leisure visit to Istanbul. I had stayed previous nights in another hotel booked by my company but I stayed an extra night to explore the city. The hotel is tricky to find but the location is very convenient for exploring the bustling areas around Taksim square and Isitklal street. I […] arrived early so my room was still being cleaned when I checked in. This wasn't a problem for me. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows seem to be memory foam which were very comfortable. Internet access was included in the price of my room and this was easily accessed. I'm not sure what speeds were available but it was sufficient for my requirements. Some of the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom were looking a bit worn but overall the room was clean. The streets outside can be noisey as there are bars and restaurants in the area and I could hear this from my room. A special mention must go to the bell boy who was very friendly and helpful. When I was leaving for the airport, reception called a taxi which arrived in a short few minutes and gave a fair price for the journey. Overall the hotel is not luxury but its not low budget either - it suited my needs-a professional guy in his late 20s exploring the city for the first time. I would recommend it to my friends. Took a long time to find so print a detailed map before you go. Staff very friendly, rooms top class. Very noisy at night due to location. Would stay again but bring ear plugs!

Hotel service was good friendly staff. But which i got room is close to road so noisy .No vistior allow to visit thats only thing i don like.

henkilökunta ystävällistä. Hotelli kiven heiton päässä Taksim -aukiosta. Hoteli todella meluisalla paikalla. Meteli hiljeni vasta melkein aamulla.

Miksi suomalaiset aina majoitetaan ns. huonoimpaan mahd. huoneeseen??? h.103 meteli kadulta ja hotellin ala-aulasta uskomaton. Korvatulpat eivät auttaneet. Valitimme. Saimme huoneen 303, jolloin "respan" meteli ei kuulunut enää. Mutta seinät ohuet, ja ovien alla raot käytävälle. Kadulla oli poliisien ja taksien yms. muiden oikoreitti pääkadulle. Hei […] soittivat torvea huvikseen. Hiljeni vasta n. 05-07 välillä.Ravintola alla diskoa ja karaokea ja kadulla ryyppäämistä. En ole missään mailmassa ollut ennen viikkoa nukkumatta. Este hotel esta situado en Taksim, muy muy cerca de la plaza de Taksim, por tanto esta muy bien ubicado! La recepción es un poco pequeño y da la impresión que el cuarto será así también, pero la verdad es que el cuarto esta muy bien, limpio y bien cuidado. El desayuno esta más o menos. First of all, it is an easy to find hotel if one gets off at Taxim square and has the minimum idea of the whereabouts of the hotel. Expect small facilities on a restricted vertical building. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, though not everyone understands and speaks good English. Make sure they have understood your needs. For some inexplicable […] reason they cannot afford giving you a second card (key) for your room but can at least give you a card for keeping the voltage running while in. The breakfast is of quite poor European standard but tolerable. What seems to be rather kitsch is the restaurant in fancy colours and unpleasant, popular music. The rooms however are clean, cosy and tidy, but the surrounding neighbourhood (which hosts restaurants and bars) is rather noisy, especially in the weekends. The double glass of the windows does little to insulate from such exterior noises. Try getting a room above the third floor. If you're planning on visiting the Sultanahmed region often, you'll need to take the furnicular from Taxim and then the tram as the distance is quite long on foot although it can be fun walking through Istiklal cadessi which is just one street above the hotel. All in all, it's a moderate hotel for a moderate budget in the central part of the city but not near to most of the historical sites. Devamı
