Not satisfactory

This one of the best business hotels I have ever stayed at! The only negative would be the room I stayed in was a bit small, but very functional. The hotel draws locals who come and use the restuarant and lounge facilities. A very up scale crowd! The food served is great the presentation A1 and the service is from a very well trained staff! I won't be staying here again! There is a fairly long list of issues: 1. This is supposed to be a hip trendy media hotel in the media city, but you still need to pay separately for in room wi-fi. 2. Wi-fi in the pools area didn't work for the duration of my stay. 3. I was quoted double the going rate for a taxi by hotel employee, only finding out on […] my return journey I had been conned. 4. My room was 7 floors above the pool area however the noise from the pool party was so loud I couldn't sleep. It finished at 2:30 in the morning and I had to be up at 5:30 for my flight home. 5. I had to call reception to have my room serviced. So generally glossy but poor. Devamı

Great location in the media hub. Free internet in the hotel café and great service at the hotel. I would return.

+Central location if you prefer the "new center" of the city (vs. Deira and the hoods in the old center). Note that you still have to take taxi/metro everywhere, even to Jumeirah Beach Road (JBR)/other places in Marina +Trendy atmosphere and interior desing +Good breakfast -Music was played extremely loud on the pool party one night to 03.00 am and […] it was impossible to sleep. My husband and I stayed at the Media One hotel over New Years weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a great breakfast. Our room was very comfortable, though the clear glass bathroom/shower area was a bit different. My only minor complaint was that our room overlooked the pool area which […] place music loudly every night - not the end of the world for us, as we were there for a big, fun weekend - but it might be an issue for business travelers. I have stayed in many hotels in Dubai and this is one of the worst I’ve experienced. I booked based on good recommendations from friends so perhaps I caught the hotel on a bad night. After negotiating Dubai's ever changing roadways and driving past the hotel twice with no clear way of accessing it, I drove aimlessly up to the unmarked front door. The […] gentleman at the front did not know enough English or Arabic to tell me that I would have to self-park so I just stood in front until another fellow came out to explain where to put my vehicle. Check in was friendly and quick. The room was as expected according to the photos. The TV wasn't working and I was told it was an issue with the telecom company. I ordered room service and didn't receive an item that I had asked for, even though I mentioned it three times while ordering. When room service arrived, the guy was surprised to see that my TV wasn't working. He called maintenance and they came a while later to fix it. Apparently it was not a telecom problem. I was exhausted from a long day so I thought I would take a bath and then get a good night's sleep. Two problems prevented that. First, the hot water would not come for the bathtub (though it worked for the shower). Second problem was the pool party outside my window. From what I could see, there wasn’t a great turnout for the party so I’m not sure why the music had to be so loud! At checkout they couldn’t get the credit card machine to work so they processed the charges later and emailed me the receipt. They did get this part correct. This place does have the potential to be a great lower cost place to stay in Dubai. But I won’t try it again. Devamı

This is a good budget hotel with a modern feel to it. But once you check in, you cant help but notice tell tale signs of a budget hotel. Chose to stay in the top suite because the Hip room was just too small. The suite was big, but the tables had the wood badly chipped in places and the tv on the lounge did not work. And the lounge bathroom was constantly […] leaking and was very loud. The view was brilliant though. With a little attention to detail this can be a great hotel. Devamı

The Mediaone Hotel in Dubai is simply fantastic. Clean funky with a nice crowd of visitors and fab brunch!!. I strongly recommend. Good location and facilities.. Loved the glass bathroom...

Friendly staff and comfy but small rooms make this "hip" hotel a great stay for young singles or couples.

Vi boede 7 nætter på hotellet i april 2012 og var rigtig glade for det. Der er rent og pænt. Vi havde et HIP værelse, og det var moderne og lækkert. Ekstremt høfligt og venligt personale. Tæt på metro. Tæt på the walk. Der var sol ved poolen fra morgen til kl. 13.00 og igen fra kl. 14.30 til kl. 16.30. Der var lidt høj musik fra baren fredag og lørdag […] aften, men det sluttede midnat, så det var ok. Det er mange forretningsfolk da hotellet ligger i media City. Devamı

Hotel situé près du métro (300 metres) et pas loin de Jumeirah Beach (5 minutes en taxi pour 3 Euros) Personnel disponible et gentil. Mention spéciale au personnel de chambre et de restauration. Seul bémol musique de piscine un peu saoulant jusqu'a minuit. Hotel à réserver pour personnes jeunes non indisposé par le bruit.

Hotellet var modernt och personalen vänlig. 1.Checkade in ca 23:00 Dubai tid vilket innebär att där inte fanns mycket att göra vid den tiden, ändå tog incheckning ca 1timme. 2.Rummen var inte välstädade, hittade saker som tillhörde dom som bodde där tidigare samt dammråttor. 3. Små Vattenflaskorna som man fick på rummet byttes ej till nya utan fylldes […] på, de märkte man på korken. Undra ifall jag druckit ifrån dom tidigare eller om det var någon annans? 4.Lämnade en deposition på rummet, men när jag beställde room service så påstod man att där inte fanns deposition och att det inte gick att skriva upp på rummet, fick betala maten med kort där jag inte fick något kvitto på... detta reddes ut senare på morgonen i receptionen vilket hotellet sa att dom och room service hade missförstått varandra. 5. Under vistelse på 4nätter(som egentligen skulle vara 7 nätter ) städades rummet enbart 1gång. Hotels.com vänlighet samt hjälp jag fått är en klar 10 än sålänge. Tråkigt är bara att hotellet var så dåligt att vi ville åka hem! Devamı

Design et moderne, pas mal de musique electro pour les amateurs, jeudi soir et we grosse soiree autour de la piscine avec pas mal de monde venant de Dubai, tres sympa mais attention sound system et DJ (eviter chambre cote piscine) Restaurant et service tres bien. Proximite plage Je recommande B

Ich war wieder sehr zufrieden. Ideal für business leute oder als ausgang für Touristen, in der nähe von der Palm Inseln, Marina und die Malls. Frühstücks buffet is sehr reichhaltig. Atmosphere is super cool.

Olimme tyytyväisiä hotellijärjestelyihin kaikin puolin. Lentomme oli perillä keskellä yötä, mutta senkin asian varmistaminen sujui vaivatta Hotels.Com:in kautta. Alt fungerer upåklageligt og indeholder alle faciliteter man kan drømme om. Vi oplevede at hotellet holdt poolparty fredag og lørdag, hvilket betød at der var høj musik om natten - det holdt ikke! Vi var endda på etage 17 og festen var på 8 etage. Servicen var i top hele vejen rundt, med stor imødekommenhed. Vi oplevede kun badeværelset som lidt negativt […] (vi havde værelsemodel 'Hip). Det var nyt og lækkert, men med glas hele vejen rundt kan man ikke have privatliv og den matterede glasdør til toilettet kunne ikke lukkes - det var lige en kende for moderne til vores smag. Hotellet ligger i det nye Dubai og man går ikke bare lige lidt rundt i kvarteret. Enten tager man en taxa (som er billigt) og ellers går man 10 min til en perfekt Metro der bare spiller. Devamı

Media One kan jag verkligen rekomendera. Hotellet är endast 1 år gammal och allt hålls väldigt rent. Även personalen var mycket trevliga. Poolområdet är inte särsklit stor men väldigt mysitg. Taxitur till närliggande strand (Marina Beach) kostar ca 20 kr och tar endast 5-6 minuter. Hit kan man även åka på kvällen då det finns massa bra restauranger […] och shopping. Det är gångavstånd till Dubai Marina som är en mycket trevlig promenadstråk. Slutsat: Mycket bra hotell med ett bra läge. Devamı

Visiting with a friend, we booked one room with 2 twin beds. All looked good, the hotel is nicely placed and clean, nice staff, there was a non-stop techno/house beat coming from the swiming pool, BUT! Once entered the room we were like... Whaaaat? There's no actual bathroom/loo, only a glass wall separating the bedroom from the sink/bathtub. It was […] VERY unpleasent, we had to take turns and one would go downstairs while the other would use the 'bathroom'. I do point out that neither the hotel stuff nor hotels.com mentioned this before and that the surprise was rather shocking. Therefore, only 2 stars from me. Devamı

Perfekt til business - god placering tæt på Jebel Ali, Dubai Marina, Media City, Internet City og Knowledge village - samt kun 25 min fra lufthavnen og Creek´en

bezahlt lieber etwas mehr und dafür ein strandhotel zu bekommen. das hotel ist total abgelegen, man kommt nur mit auto hin. die zimmer sind sooo klein für ein 4 sterne hotel. das hotel verdient aller aller höchstens. 3sterne.. eher 2.
