GOOD: The people working at this hotel are SUPER NICE and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the location is convenient. BAD: the building is rather old and not really well-kept. There's a lot of work for an interior designer there.:)

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It was an easy walk to the waterfront and very near a hop-on/hop-off bus stop. The only downside was that I did not feel comfortable walking around the neighborhood in which the hotel was located after dark. It was not that big an issue. We stayed at Strand Towers in mid March 2012. The welcoming and service was very pleasant. The only ting we could kick on was that we spesified two singel beds and got a double that could not be splitt. The breakfast is superb. And the bar is a safe haven in the nigth. -Air conditioning turns off randomly, which can be uncomfortable on hot days. -On check-in (@ 3PM) I was informed that express laundry was available, 10 minutes after reaching my room, I found out that was not true unless you are there prior to 9AM. -On check-in I was told that late check-out was available, I didn't find out that was not true until […] the day I was scheduled to check-out. -Internet service was broken almost as much as it worked. we were only going to stay at the hotel for three nights - we liked the hotel so much and the people were so warm and friendly we ended up staying ten nights. The location was perfect, the food excellent, the decor modern and comfortable, the service was to perfection. I can not say enough good things about this hotel. We chose this hotel because of the price and pool as we went to Cape Town in summer. The price couldn't be beat, the pool was a great place to go in the super hot afternoons and the breakfast included was AMAZING! However, the air conditioners int he rooms never really worked at full capacity. We even asked to change rooms, which they did, but it was […] only slightly better there. We asked for a fan and they said they only had ONE for the entire hotel. I don't know how that is even possible...but we heard that same line from mutiple people so I guess it really was true! This hotel was kinda weird because the lobby made it appear really modern and all, and the rooms were nice, but the elevators were kinda crappy and the hallways were rather dingy...It's like they never finished updating it. Also, we learned later on that city center is not the best place to stay if you are not doing business in the area. But, the onsite parking (R65 a day) was convenient and not too expensive so that was a nice plus. So, overall, decent hotel, not so great location, awesome breakfast and pool. Devamı

Stayed here New Years Eve- its right next to Long Srteet which is where all the major bars are. The hotel is very modern, extremely nice and well kept. The included breakfast was an added bonus and great variety of quality food!

Hatte diesen Hotel für ein Freund reserviert aber es war kein richtiger 4 sterne hotel .Das Früstück war nicht so gut wie beschrieben::((Aber es vwar OK eher ein 3 sterne hotel ..

O hotel é novo, se não me engano de 2010. Ainda bastante conservado, café da manhã bom, staff muito educado e prestativo. A localização é ótima, pois fica no centro e dá para ir a pé para o Waterfront, estação de ônibus, pontos turísticos no centro. É perto também da Long Street onde ficam vários restaurantes. Hotellet har stora problem med sina hissar som antingen går upp när man trycker ned eller inte fungerar alls. Vi fick bära ned våra väskor 12 våningar.
