Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Peru - Lasalle Area - Peru

Pretty much everything in the hotel was satisfactory. But, the condition of the pool was poor. The pool filter was not working during our stay and the hotel compensated that by adding too many chemicals.

I'm so often disappointed at the frigid water in hotel pools. My toddler won't swim very long if he's cold which defeats the purpose of getting a hotel with pool. Holiday Inn Express in Peru, Indiana had a very warm, clean pool and pool area. Thank you so much for turning up the heat a bit, we swam for hours!! I was also very pleasantly surprised by […] the free breakfast. Usually the biscuits & gravy taste like flour and water, but these were very good. Friendly staff. Large and clean rooms. Would stay again. However, do not eat at the Cabin Fever Grill (walking distance). Absolutely horrible!

This was a great hotel for the price and the area. We wanted to hike at Starved Rock, and it was very close. We found some great places to eat in the area, and loved coming back to the quiet hotel and hanging out in the hot tub and pool (which are salt water). Overall, great experience!

We arrived and were greeted by Adam, a very friendly and helpful person behind the desk. We got the room amenities we were hoping for (jacuzzi tub). The room itself was very nice, the tub was fantastic. Breakfast in the morning; a very friendly lady cooked us cheese omelets on request in addition to all the other breakfast offerings available. This was a star 5 in our book...desk clerk was courteous and very friendly, looking out for our best interest....our room was very clean and comfortable ...the pool was A #1...very, very, clean...one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express Hotel's we have ever stayed at!!!

added a night with no problem..... appreciated the laundry facilities which I did use.... we did have a refrigerator magically appear in our room for the last night....couldn't remember when I made the reservation, but I thought the room I booked had a refrigerator and microwave...there was no microwave, but that was not a big deal....the fridge would […] have been nice since we were staying multiple nights. very disatified with 2 dogs across the ha barked a day and night for the 2 nights we were there..couldnt get any sleep

Nice clean room, breakfast in the morning but not a meal to remember.

This is a really nice hotel, right of I-80 and a fairly short drive to Starved Rock State Park. It's a newer hotel so everything just felt really clean. My only complaint is that even though I got an email confirmation # for my reservation and paid with my credit card through Hotels.com about 3 weeks before the trip, when I checked-in to the hotel […] they had no record of me! Luckily they still had a room available! I'm not sure if this is the fault of Hotels.com or the Holiday Inn Express. But other than that its a really nice place if you want to stay in that area. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was yummy!

The Manager, the Desk Person, the Breakfast Lady all went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. We've never been treated better! The facility, and rooms looked brand new, and were very clean, and werewell maintained.

Pool was warm, hot tub was hot, rooms were nice, breakfast was good plus it went later than most hotels for those in the family taht like to sleep in. Would of been nice to have a refrig, but not a big deal.

We travel only occasionally, usually seek out hotels that are nice, but reasonable price is essential. We were so pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It was wonderful. Like new - smelled new, nice and clean. We definitely recommend and would stay there again for sure.
