Americas Best Value Inn - Ronks

The room was clean but need an update and good airing out. windows didn't open and airconditioner moved air put it was still sort of musty. The person that checked me in was not very friendly. She was to the point and then you can go attitude. It was not a busy time of the year so I saw no one else.

Location was great and having 3 beds for 3 people was wonderful. Room was clean.

I didn't like that the staff change the temperature of my room when I left for the day. We returned to a cool/cold room. Also they removed a desk and said they will be returning it, so I thought that was inconsiderate. I know we only stayed two nights, but that could have waited until we checked out.

Smelly smoking room. When we asked to be changed, he said there's no room available when there were 3 cars in the parking lot at 10 pm. The heater didn't work, my kids were freezing all night.

amenities were placed in some rooms but not others. Old out dated furniture and carpets. Staff not very friendly.

for the amount of money paid the room was clean location fine, air conditioner worked beautiful we spent one night but it was priced right and we enjoyed our stay. It even offers a pool

America's Best Value Inn is conveniently close to the sights we wanted to visit. That is it's best quality. Overall, the motel lacks amenities and seems dated. The room we stayed in was small, the air conditioner did not cool the room properly. The sink stopper did not stay in place. We had difficulty getting the key to fit in the door lock. The television […] had plenty of cable channels but the colors of the television were distorted -- too much red. The motel offered a simple continental breakfast in the lobby. By the standards of modern, moderately priced motels that we stay at when we travel, the breakfast lacked choices. It include two choices of dry cereal, coffee, orange juice, white bread for toast, and muffins. Surely this is enough for a light breakfast, but also surely it is modest compared to other modern, moderately priced motels. The woman working at the desk who checked us in seemed indifferent, maybe a bit bored, certainly not helpful. By contrast, the manager was engaging, friendly, and helpful. Our stay was not pleasant. The hotel is old and furniture in very 80s. The bathroom was super tiny and clean. The "breakfast " was ridiculous, our 14 yr. old boys ate muffins and got yelled at to use a plate. You can not remove the food from the 25 foot square lobby. When my husband asked for milk for the boys, he was told "nobody drinks milk with muffins." […] So, they would not bring out anymore milk. The charge for the room was way too high for the outdated, poor accomadations, terrible, rude service and I would never stay here again. Devamı

Everything in the room was old and falling apart. The air conditioner smelled when we put it on. The door to the connecting room had a broken door knob. I did not feel safe. The pool didn't open until 12 noon. My children were upset. They didn't get to swim before we checked out.

The hotel room was decent. We had an extra person so $10 per night surcharge was applied. However when we requested some extra bedding, the hotel staff said they had run out of it. It wasn't fun managing. Especially because we were staying two nights. The complimentary breakfast was very disappointing. It has the tiniest menu I have seen so far. No […] milk, cereal, eggs, fresh fruit, waffles, bagels. bare minimum - muffins, bread, veggie spread, jam, OJ and coffee. Devamı

Breakfast is poor.... It's ok to stay in short trip as it is near to Amish locality...

We enjoyed our visit to the Amish country and found this motel was a good location for us as we enjoy driving through the country to see the farms. The only problem was the pillows were hard...should have taken our own pillows. They still use the door key in lock but we had no problem. Good location and good value for the price.

When we checked in, the front desk person seemed annoyed and dismissive to even the simplest questions about the room, checkout, etc. The hotel appeared very old, and the rooms were extremely unclean and had a dank odor. Rust poured from the shower head and faucets when the water was turned on and had to be run a few seconds before clear water emerged. […] The entire area around the hotel reeked of horse manure. The staff was loud and EXTREMELY rude, waiting by the door several minutes before checkout time. I would never stay here again. Devamı

Room was clean, staff attentive, location a bit harrowing considering that it's on route 30 and at some point you will have to cross it:) We made it! It was just fine for the price. The TV worked and the shower was great. Good eats just across the street at Diener's, and all around.

This motel is in a small rural town that was close to teh people we wanted to see but not too close to much in the way of major tourist attractions. The room and facilities overall wouldn't win any appearance awards but everything was clean, neat, and comfortable--just a bit run-down and dated. No problems of any sort, but pay close attention to how […] the heating controls are labeled! We shivered one night because I misread where "cooler" was. Devamı

Clean, but the bed pad was old and loose and kept bunching up under us. Made for an uncomfortable nights rest.

The only problem with the hotel location was getting back on the highway. A three (3) lane highway with the middle lane being a turning lane. A lot of heavy traffic at times. No traffic light. Patience is a must for that. However, did not really have a problem with it.

Older but clean. Staff was excellant

We liked the family environment. The people were very nice and the room was clean & a generous size. The pool was clean and we definitely will stay there again!
