We were particularly impressed with the excellent restaurant- good fish dishes and nice attention to detail.

I booked the hotel for myself and two grandsons as we were taking the early ferry next day. It was very inexpensive, right on the beach, and five minutes from the ferry terminal. So much better than getting up before dawn and driving an hour and half to the ferry. One criticism is the restaurant in the hotel does not provide a kids menu and to eat there […] would have cost me a hundred euros for things children do not like to eat (British ones at least) Fortunately there is a restaurant with mini golf right across the road and the Sword Beach Museum is right next door. Very friendly staff and good location. Sophisticated and elegant restaurant with good range of menus. Beautifully presented food. Wines expensive but this is par for the course in France. Bedrooms OK but could benefit from the sophistication of the restaurant.

Great location, beautiful old building, secure parking. Shame check-in took so long and our room was not made up (late afternoon) - and neither was the alternative room offered. Thoroughly recommended for anyone needing an hotel for overnight stay during ferry travel. Hotel less than five minutes drive to ferry port gates. Receptionist very helpful.

I stayed with my 2 dogs and we were made very welcome. The large room was very clean and with a sea view. Excellent restaurant. Secure car park - gates locked at night. Close to ferry port. Close to pedestrianised streets which made a pleasant evening walk. I hope to stay again.

We had a very pleasant one night stay. The room was comfortable and very clean. The hotel was on the sea front and very well situated for bars restaurants etc.

Hotel is very convenient for the ferry port. Staff very friendly and hotel well maintained.No breakfast served until 07.30 which makes it a bit difficulty if you have a early check in at the the ferry. Car park can only take about 7 cars. Overall OK.

The exterior photos are wonderful - just what I wanted to stay in. However, the decor of the hallways and our very tiny room was disappointing as it did not reflect the character of this grand old house. We arrived at 7pm, exhausted and hungry, looking forward to our first French meal in the beautiful dining room we had seen online, but were told that […] there was no food available for us - go somewhere else. A historic hotel with an excellent service from the receptiondesk. The only thing missing was a minibar in the room.

Having stayed at other 2* hotels in the area this was by far the most luxurious. The bedroom was superb, overlooking sword beach. The breakfast (albeit 9Euros) was very substantial. It took about 25 mins to walk to the main square. The area was quiet and I would recomment this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the area. We were there to visit Hermanville-su-Mer, […] where my mother and father are buried and certainly on our next visit we will use this hotel again. Devamı

the hotel .was clean and nice. built in 1894. lots of charm. this is the begging of the normandy beaches. parking is limited to 10 cars. come late and park on the street or the casino parking lot across the street at your own risk.

Great Location...on Sword Beach. Friendly Staff. Rooms are very small. Tub only, no shower. Nice breakfast. Overall good value.

Very well placed for touring the D-Day beaches and associated museums and installations recalling June 1944. Our room had good sea view and was well appointed. Only negative the mattress, which should be replaced. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant were excellent: we dined there three nights in succession! Simple, clean and accommodating. Friendly reception. Welcoming to our friendly Labrador - though they insisted on the lead on all times and all places, which is fair enough. Our only negative vibe was the fact that we were on the 2nd floor (steepish flights and no lift - thankfully our bags weren't too heavy!) but it did mean that we had a better view […] of the beach rather than just the back of the casino! The hotel entrance is at the back of the hotel with the garden, which is well kept and pleasant. Stayed only one night but would return. Good position for our pre-ferry stay and on the edge of the "commerce" end of the beach before you move onto the wholly residential part. Didn't try the restaurant (which we now regret having tried another on the main drag - where we were not well served) realized we would have been much better off at the hotel itself. Would recommend. Petit hôtel très agréable avec un joli jardin (et des poules!), bien situé, tout près de la plage et de la rue commerçante de Ouistreham, chambre petite mais propre, belle salle de bain, excellent restaurant dans l'hôtel et très bon accueil ! On recommande.

Très bon accueil à l'hôtel et au restaurant. La chambre est petite mais propre et confortable. Petit bémol: le déjeuner est un peu trop cher par rapport à ce qui est proposé. Le dîner était quant à lui, très bon (le cocktail de la maison était à tomber!!!). Le parking est petit mais il y a beaucoup de places libres à proximité.

Bien situé près de la mer et du centre ville, dommage que les chambres soient peu spacieuses. Les repas sont pour la plupart très bons et très bien présentés. A refaire oui, mais en espérant avoir une chambre plus spacieuse.

Très bel hôtel, très bien situé, la décoration est faite avec goût, les meubles sont beaux, le personnel est très accueillant, je me suis vraiment sentie à l'aise et dans un petit "palace" car tout fait chic (alors que ce n'est qu'un 2 étoiles !). La baignoire avec pommeau de douche de pluie était un bonheur aussi !! Un beau petit jardin décoré lui […] aussi joliment ! Idéal en amoureux et juste en face du casino ! À 2 minutes de la rue commerçante et des restos ! J'y retournerai très certainement ! Que du bonheur ! Devamı

je n'ai jamais aussi bien mangé dans ce coin-là pour ce prix-là, le personnel et l'accueil étaient parfaits, franchement rapport qualité prix je ne connais pas mieux.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, o staff é bastante atencioso, o apartamento é comfortável e o café da manhã muito bom. Quando voltar ficarei lá novamente. Recomendo.

Je suis tres decue par rapport aux avis que j'avais lu... L'hotel est trop cher pour ce qu'il propose. 1-Les serviettes de la chambre sont tres usées! 2-les odeurs de cuisine dans la salle de bain :-( après signalement à la réception, ils ont promis de changer ca. 3-Ne payez pas un surplus pour la vue sur la mer car vous ne la verrez pas... 4-le restaurant […] a eviter si vous aimez la bonne cuisine! Apres les bons avis sur le restaurant, je voulais y aller. J'ai été très décue... Le foie gras poilé de mauvaise qualité, la meringue du dessert trop dure, préparée plusieurs jours à l'avance et le reste du repas etait moyen. Pour le prix, je suis tres decue. Devamı

Un bon prix et une bonne acceuille. Le seule probleme peut etre le manque d'un ascenseur. Le restaurant est cher mais la nourriture est bonne (peut-etre un peu riche).

accueil très chaleureux ;attention il n'y a pas d'ascenseur ; bonne literie ; calme côté vue sur mer mais décembre ; en face du centre de thalasso et du casino ; restaurant raffiné et de très bonne qualité ; efficacité, discrétion du personnel de service , ils sont de très bon conseil;

2éme séjour dans cet hôtel, sympathique. Accueil souriant, jardin sympa sous le soleil, et une vue mer splendide. Un peu bruyant quand on loge au 1er étage. Restauration (attention de réserver!!) correcte par rapport aux tarifs.

Hotel en tres bon etat general, mais le chauffage devrait etre remit au gout du jour. Sinon c'est une adresse a recommander.

Réveil en fanfare à 7h20 un dimanche matin par les voisins du dessous qui faisaient l'amour, puis par les talons de la voisine du dessus et enfin par la toux du client de la chambre voisine...... J'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Personnel à l'accueil d'une grande aimabilité ! La chambre était très propre et très vaste avec vu sur la mer.

Pa de VMC dans la salle de bains. Humidité et moisissures aux mur!

proprietaires tres symathiques. un joli hotel proche de la plage ,de la thalasso et du casino avec une tres belle vue sur la mer. la chambre etait petite mais tres confortable. Et le restaurant: Delicieux, avec une jolie salle donnant elle aussi sur la mer. Très bon séjour!!

Hôtel avec personnel trés sympathique. Chambre convenable, avec emplacement face à la mer. Seul bémol, trés mal insonorisé dés 7h du matin on est reveillé par les personnes qui se dirigent au petit déjeuner.

Tres bon hotel bien tenu, excellent restaurant. Le seul point faible est le parquet grincant dans les couloirs que l'on entend bien des chambres...

Cadre agréable (vieille bâtisse de style villa balnéaire années 1900-1930 en bord de mer avec jardin). Notre chambre était petite mais fonctionnelle (pour une nuit). Housse de couette et 1 serviette de bain avec traces noires et porte de placard hors service. Restaurant gourmet et gourmand (mais attention au prix exagéré des vins). Petit déjeuner très […] correct. Personnel agréable. Bien pour une étape. Devamı
