Gingerbread Manor - Montreal

Efram and Yves the hosts of Gingerbread Manor were wonderful. Their B&B was everything the website stated. It was located in a great area close to everything, restaurants, Old Montreal etc. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and the highlight of our stay. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again when we return to Montreal.

We were very comfortable. Ephram and Guy were fun to talk to and know lots and lots about restaurant/food destinations. As it turns out, there was street parking available, but we were a little tight for time so we parked at le bibliotheque national, about 3-4 blocks away, near the bus station. It was convenient and inexpensive--$12 for 24 hours.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The place is great - much character and excellent friendly hosts with the most. It is not a luxury palace but if you want a quite room with lots of charm in a brilliant shopping location in walking distance to all city sights, this is it. Located on a leafy side-street. Clean and attractive rooms. Great beds. Close to some great restaurants and not far to downtown. Loved it. I will return.

We loved staying here. The location is great, the hosts are friendly and make wonderful breakfasts! It was my first B&B experience, and a very good one. Two things missing from Gingerbread Manor are odors of any kind and chintz. We stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Ephraim and Yves were wonderfully helpful and candid, breakfast was delicious and thoughtful, and the other guests staying while we were there were fantastic. The neighborhood is great and the central location […] worked out wonderfully. We did not have a rental car nor planned on one so the proximity to the train, bus lines and Bixi rentals was really nice. There are parks in just about every direction a few minutes walk away as well as great restaurants and shopping. As for the lack of odors what I mean is no potpourri, no mustiness, just nice and clean. The absence of chintz was refreshing from what you generally expect at a B&B and the rooms were nicely decorated and relaxing. Devamı

This is a lovely B&B in a great area of Montreal. Clean, well appointed and of course, with excellent breakfast provided, this was, considering the cost, an excellent destination. Only issue is parking, but of course the owners can't control that- but with a little patience that too is resolved.

Une excellente impression : hôtes extrèmement sympathiques et chaleureux, propreté irréprochable, petit dej succulent et bonne situation dans Montreal.

Petite maison tout a fait charmante. Notre hote etait des plus acceuillant et chalereux. Les dejeuner sont exellents et differents a chaque jour et les chambres sont confortable et invitante.

Altes sehr schönes Haus in zentraler Lage zu gemütlichen Restaurants und zur Metro.Alles zu Fuß erreichbar.Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und besonders das Bad ist ein Genuß.Am besten jedoch ist das Frühstück!!
