Williamsburg Sampler B & B - Williamsburg

We stayed at the Williamsburg Sampler Bed & Breakfast while doing a college tour of William and Mary and couldn't have been more pleased. The host was gracious, the home was beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at the Sampler. Ike was a great host and a fantastic cook. We highly recommend his B&B.

Ike is a great host and has a warm and comfortable home filled with a myriad of fascinating items he has collected over the years. Huge comfy beds, flat screen tvs, good showers, and wonderful home-cooked breakfasts. We stayed 2 nights and had completely different foods each morning - both equally delicious. This B&B was very nice, as long as you don't mind lots of stuff everywhere. The rooms are not cluttered, but the common areas are full of knick-knacks. It's very clean, however. No dust or mold smells. The furnishings are very nice and I found the knick knacks charming; my partner thought it was too much stuff. The room itself was immaculate and the […] bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless and the shower had jet sprays. The room was quite cold when we arrived. There is a heater in the room which should probably be turned on before guests arrive. Our room also faced the main road, and there was significant traffic noise. The breakfast was good, but too sweet. There is also only one breakfast time available, so be aware that you have to be up at (or wait until) 8:30am to eat. Not that you will be able to sleep past then anyway because the smell of breakfast being prepared permeates the entire house, so the heavy oil smell will likely wake you up. Overall, I'd stay here again if I could get a room in the back of the house, but my partner refuses due to the lack of adequate ventilation from the kitchen causing such a strong smell. Devamı
