Nice hotel. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Great location.

I would recommend this hotel - it is a good quality hotel with good service at a reasonable price. The location is close to a metro station, although there is little to do around the hotel. We tried to go for a drink on Friday night near the hotel, but most places were closed already (we eventually found one).

Beautiful views of Chiyoda and downtown Tokyo. The single-person rooms are small by American standards, but extremely clean and functional. This shouldn't be a problem as you'll be exploring the vast city versus hanging out in the hotel. Hotel room was small but very clean and tidy and had everything that I required. Good value for money and would stay here again.

The facility was fine but si-fi access was slow and unreliable for my IPad.

Unfortunately our room cannot see the night view of Tokyo Tower..

This hotel is located in the business district and the nerve center of Japan's parliamentary politics. It's several feet from a lovely jogging path that runs along a moat separating the imperial compound from the Tokyo skyline. The services are quick and polite. You can access the desktops in the business center for 100 yens per 10 minutes of internet […] time. Otherwise rent a laptop for 1000 yens a day to get wired access to the net in your room. This is perhaps the only bad thing about this hotel. Cheaper hotels are providing wireless connection...the Grand Arc is still using wired connection. So if you've an iPad2 like I do, you won't be able to get on. Should have gone with a different tablet device. LoL!! Aspen Devamı

The hotel was very nice and only a couple of blocks from the subway station, which made it even nicer. Hotel check out was early...10 a.m....but the staff was very willing to hold our bags until we were ready to head to the airport that evening. We were very disappointed with the fact that our room did not have a view of the Imperial Palace or the surrounding […] area. While it was nice that the exterior wall of our room was all window, the view was of other buildings in the area. THE BEST HOTEL IN TOKYO. EVERYTHING PERFECT.

I found this hotel perfectly located for nearly all purposes. Ginza or Tokyo Station are roughly 20-25 minutes walk away, a large part (or all) of it of course along the Imperial Palace Gardens. The subway is a 3-4 minute walk away and gives you a straight line to Shibuya and the next interchanges you to Shinjuku. My hotel room was well kept and included […] everything I have came to expect of a Japanese style business hotel, and for the price this was definitely a catch. Furthermore, the restaurant options made it really convenient to stay in at the hotel for a bite anytime during normal eating hours, which came in handy after long sojourns into Tokyo. The bar is amazing as well, the view over the Imperial Gardens and most of central Tokyo's skyline is alone something to cheer for, but all the bartenders' attention to drinks is of top notch quality, so even if I don't have the chance to stay over again, if I'm in Tokyo I will make a point of hitting the bar! This hotel has all you could want. Close to a metro station (Hanzomon) and central to all the sights in Tokyo. It also has a fantastic view of the Imperial Palace Gardens and the Tokyo tower. I couldn't fault this hotel, and I also enjoyed two of the best meals I have eaten in their restaurant for less than $30.

It's convenient when you take the subways. If you prefer JR lines, be open to walking 20 minutes. Since it was close to the Imperial Palace, you can take a stroll around it. Not too many shopping nearby but nice and quiet.

I couldn't say enough good words about this hotel. Very happy experience. Great front desk staff. Speaking good English. No problem everyday communications. Tokyo's metro system is really great - easy to get around and easy to understand! BTW, there is an ATM at the entrance/exit 1-3 at Metro Hanzomon station. Highly recommend the breakfast. No matter it's Japanese breakfast or American. Reasonable priced and delicious food. I've already stayed Grand arc hamzomon hotel several times before. This time was as good as always. It's good to be near subway station even though It's not in the center of busy area such as Shinjuku.Services, view, building condition...everything excellent!!

My wife and I stayed here while visiting Tokyo around New Years. It is a short taxi ride from Tokyo Station, within easy walking distance of the Hanzomon Metro line, and right next to the Imperial Garden grounds. Location is good, easy access to Tokyo MRT. Nice view. toothbrush is very hard. internet, though is free, often lose connection.

I stayed in a twin room with a pretty nice view of the Imperial Palace. I'm particularly happy with the spaciousness of the room which was the biggest of all the hotels I stayed so far in Tokyo for the good price I paid many months in advance. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Hanzomon subway station, exit 1. As the passage way from the subway ticket […] office to the street level did not have a lift/escalator, we had difficulty in carrying our luggages on our first day to the hotel and last day to the airport. As Hanzomon subway station belongs to the Metro line, we had to change to other lines which in Tokyo itself requires a lot of distant walking within the massive underground. I still like this hotel for the space and view, however I may consider a hotel that is close to JR Yamanote line instead in the future so that I can cut down on the walking and transferring of lines with big luggage. hotel accommodations atre first class as is the service at all levels - view from room of Tokyo skyline and Palace moat is fantastic - staff was absolutely courteous, warm and friendly! I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed one night to try a Japanese Style room. Fun change of pace although the room was small and we were there a short time so bed was made up when we arrived and we left early am. FLoor was mix of smoking and nonsmoking. Room was small, site said American rooms were even smaller- ouch!. Sleeping on floor was okay however I woke with a pain in my arm […] which lasted for days. We stayed at another Japanese Style lodge outside Tokyo with a suite. There I learned that several of our friends placed extra mats under theirs and had a much better night. Recommend a Jpanaese Style room but do it at one of the Hot Springs/ spas outside Tokyo for the best experience. Devamı

Overall, there is nothing to complain, it is a good deal for a Tokyo hotel. It is await from the tourist area. A clean and nice place.

It's tough to find views better than this in Tokyo, especially at this price. The room size was fine - actually fairly large for a Tokyo hotel (we stayed in the Standard Twin). We originally were put in a room with a large metal beam cutting right through the middle of what would otherwise be an unobstructed view, but the staff was very helpful in changing […] our room to one with no obstruction. They even sent someone up to take us to the new room and make sure it was okay. The room was kept very clean and was very quiet throughout the stay. Rooms have new HDTV's and HD service, which was a nice surprise. Keep in mind this is basically a business hotel that happens to be nicely decorated, so there are not a lot of services tourists might expect (like a concierge or bell captain). The hotel does offer services business-people would expect, such as laundry service, a business center with internet PC's and printers, and multiple restaurants. Location-wise we were very happy with it - it's not right in the middle of a hopping night-life area, but there's plenty of food and convenience stores available for when you go out in the morning and come back at night, and the location is basically right in between all the major areas we needed/wanted to visit (saving us on transportation costs and time) and just a block away from the subway. I'm taking one star off because as a business hotel, I would expect better internet service - the in-room internet is wired only, and in fact very unreliable. Very slow, and many times basically unusable. We were actually there on business and found it very difficult to get work done. Of course, that just gave us more time to sit back and enjoy the view! Stayed in the Japanese Style Room for three nights. We were traveling with my 14 year old daughter and were weren't sure how comfortable we would be in the double rooms. The Japanese Style Room is a bit roomier (still small but this is Tokyo). Every day they would put the bed rolls out at night and put them away in during the day. The hotel offers […] free toothpaste, toothbrushes, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner as well as some emory boards and other small sundry items. The toilets are a hoot with the bidet functions. There is no bell service, so you must handle your bags yourself. Also no wi-fi but they do provide the equipment to connect to the internet via a cable and DSL modem. You do have to connect it yourself so hope you have a little techie in you. The metro stop is very close and next to the exit #1 there is a Chococro which has really good pastries and coffee. It was our morning ritual to stop there for breakfast. Do note that things don't open very early in the area as 7:30am or 8:00am is the time when shops (even the coffee shops) open. We had to take the train to one of the larger stops to find any breakfast at 7:00am. The area around the hotel is more government and businesses. Not too many shops or restaurants near by. It is convenient if you want to walk around the Chiyoda gardens. Otherwise there is not much to see in the area. Next time I think we will stay somewhere with more going on. I've stayed at several "business hotels" in Japan. Usually the decor is functional, the rooms are tiny, and the service acceptable at best. Not so with Grand Arc Hanzomon: the hotel itself has an understated, low-key modern elegance, the rooms are well-designed and spacious by Japanese standards, all rooms have a view of the Tokyo skyline and the moat […] and grounds of the Imperial Palace, and the staff is outstanding! The neighborhood is quiet, and The National Theatre complex is right across the street if you're a fan of traditional Japanese performing arts. The only possible drawback to staying at The Grand Arc Hanzomon is that the closest JR station is Tokyo Station, a confusing, frustrating madhouse of a place. If you don't need access to Japan Railways, or if can find a work around to using Tokyo Station, your stay will be perfect. Devamı

This hotel was by far one of the best I've stayed at in Tokyo. The semi-double room I stayed in had a great view of the city, including Tokyo Tower! The bathroom was large enough to fit 2 people (rare in Tokyo) and they supplied way more than just the ordinary shmapoo, conditioner, shower cap, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

this hotel has no bellman, doorman, concierge. does not change money. staff has limited english ability. food on site is almost pure Japanese.......this hotel is fine for japanese businessmen........only.... that said, the room was nice and the view was fantastic.

hotel really close to the metro station of hanzomon (only 5min!), but the neighborhood doesn't really have anything interesting. I was in a Japanese style room, it is really worth to try, though I believe the price I paid was too expensive compared to what I got.

Went to Japan with my daughter and lived at the hotel Grand Arc Hanzomon for 9 days. When we arrived the reciption greeted us warmly and had understandable english. They were very helpful. Our room was on the 12th floor and had an amazing view over the nearby lake and Tokyo Tower. The room was in very good shape and we could share the 120cm bed without […] bigger problem. There was an small refrigerator, safety box, electric kettle, 2 glasses, 2 coffee/tea cups and a few tea bags hidden in one of the bowls. But no microwave or anything that you could heat up food with. There was an folder explaining the most about the hotel in both japanese and english. Cleaning of the room was done once every day around noon and they did an amazing job. You could also get your laundry done but we found the prices a bit too high for our short stay. The only thing we found not so good was that the surrounding restaurants did not have english menus. Which doesn't have anything to do with the hotel but I thought it could be worth mentioning if you're planning to visit Japan without having knowledge in japanese. So we ended up buying breakfast, lunch and dinner at places that had english menues like Shibuya or went to an close supermarket. Overall location of the hotel is very good. It's close to an lake which is an very popular running area. Also very close to the train station called "Yotsuya" And it's around 1h walk to Tokyo Tower. I had an excellent stay. The staff were friendly and knew some English (bonus!!) and the hotel was comfortable, clean, and right across from the Imperial Palace and Gardens - quite a view!!

I stayed at the Grand Arc from the 10th to the 13th of March. I was in my 16th story room when the 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck. Though it was extremely terrifying, no major damage was done to the hotel. Just cracks in some of the walls, which I don't think any building in the area could have avoided. The staff did all they could to make sure all […] the guests and people who had run in to take shelter from the streets were safe and comfortable. The meeting rooms on the second floor were offered for guests for the next two days who were either too nervous to return to their high rooms or were stranded without place to stay. Food and drink was provided the entire time, and the staff was there to check up on everybody. I can not thank them enough for comforting everybody during what was a terrifying few days. Now to the hotel itself: The rooms were a normal size for Tokyo, a single room is definitely adequate for one or two people. Ask for a view of the Tokyo tower, and you won't be disappointed. The day time and night time views are spectacular over the Imperial gardens, the parliament building, and the Tower itself. The hotel is very short one or two minute walk from Hanzomon station, which is two stops from a connection with the Tokyo Oedo line, and 4 stops from Shibuya station. The service (on a normal day), as with most hotels in Tokyo is fantastic. Every single staff worker there greets you with a smile, and they all seem happy to do their jobs. Next time I am in Tokyo I will definitely have to consider the Grand Arc, especially since the price was so nice. I will definitely be hesitant to have such a high room next time though...My heart is with Japan during this tough time. I know they will recover. Devamı

The hotel is worth at least 4 stars. The room is really comfortable although we choose to stay at the double-semi room. We will definitely stay here for our next trip in tokyo. This hotel is near to Hanzomon station from exit 1.

Stayed in the semi double room for 7 nights. The hotel is located near the subway (about 3 to 5 mins walk), nice facade, lobby and rooms. As expected, the room is small, but clean and have all the basic amenities. The room I got was facing away from the Imperial Garden, but nice city view at night. Hotel staffs were nice and friendly and understand […] basic english. The only downside is that the neighbourhood is quiet with few eateries, thus have to make our way out for food, unless you are keen to try the restaurants within the hotel. Devamı

I was lucky enough to secure an extremely good rate at this hotel through your website and I think the word that sums it up is ...........Brilliant!!! One thing that they don't tell you is that it is part of the Imperial Hotel Group. It is about 300m from the Underground line and at the entrance to the station is a massage service that I used twice […] during my stay. There are so many restaurants that in an 11 night stay I had trouble choosing where to eat. All in all a great experience. Devamı

Great value. Hotel condition excellent. No ATM, however. Requires a 15 minute to good restaurant area and subway (akasaka). In bad weather, need to incur cab costs. Overall, just what we signed up for.

We had 2 Japanese Style Rooms, which were very nice - not too big but had a good sized western style bathroom. Each room had its own hallway with a cupboard, a seperate main room & a bathroom. The main room had a table & 4 chairs, which were put away every night & replaced by the japanse style bedding - the house keeping did this every night. There […] was also another seperate wash sink so that one person could use the bathroom & another person could still use the wash sink too.Overall a very nice hotel, near the train/metro station but be aware that the Airport Limousine Bus does not go here! If you are going to get your own way to & from the airport, it's not the easiest hotel to get to via the metro, especially the Haneda Airport - we had a lot of luggage & all the transfers were not that much fun... Myself and my partner had a great time in Tokyo and lots have to do with the fact that we stayed at Grand Arc Hanzomon for 5 nights. To start with, the view from our room was sensational! The room had a decent size, and very nice and tidy, althought the bed wasn't as big as we wish. The location was pretty good too! The hotel is couple of blocks away […] from Hanzomon Station and away from the overcrowed city centre even though still close to the heart of Tokyo.
