The hotel staff was very attentive and helpful. The food choices of the cafe could have been better. However, they gave me a free upgrade to a spacious suite since I am a "regular customer"--I have been to this hotel a few times. The suite was very nice but their regular rooms are quite spacious and pleasant as well.

This hotel is close to the ferry terminal which is quite convenience to get to with free shuttle bus every half an hour. It's good value for your money.

Great big rooms, nice decor, location was great for us though slightly away from action areas about a km. away, restaurants including a good Indian one around the corner, overall we had a wonderful hotel stay for 2 nights. Hotel runs bus service to the ferry terminal frequently, a 8 minutes quick drive.

My wife and I travelled throughout China with our adult son. This was the only Hotel out of several that we stayed in, which accomodated 3 people in comfort. The room was large and we had a proper 3rd bed. As far as service goes, I actually left a piece of jewelry in the room when checking out of the Hotel. The hotel itself if great but the service is just SUPERB!!! It seems like ALL their staff are multilingual. They can understand English, Mandarin, and even Tagalog. I've stayed in a lot of hotels outside my country but this hotel in Macau is just exceptional because of the service they provide. I asked for sightseeing spots and they provided me with […] really good info about the place, like how to get there, the cheapest way to get there, info to free shuttle buses, schedules of the establishment, where to buy good stuff, and of course, tips about going back to the airport. Clean, comfortable, modern hotel. The room we got as very large. The bed was very comfortable. Washroom was in very clean and new condition, with many necessities at hand. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Macau!

The room was very nice and clean. The only thing we've noticed is we can smell cigarette smoke in most of the area and even at the elevator. The place is very near the ferry terminal, very convenient for us.

My only complaint about the room is that there was hair all over the place. They should do a better job in cleaning it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and most importantly, spoke English well. Why is it a still a smoking hotel? Its 2013, nobody should be allowed to smoke in public areas.

Casa Real is just about the perfect place to stay in Macau for a couple of days vacation. The hotel itself is not new but the facilities are just about it. Looks like it has just been renovated. Generally, our stay at the hotel for 3 nights was satisfactory. Me and my family enjoyed the few minutes walk, back and forth, from Casa Real to the fisherman's wharf where we did some shopping and dine-in. It was a new experience for me and the kids. In addition to its location near the airport and ferry terminal, where we proceeded to Hongkong after […] our Macao vacation, we enjoyed riding in buses (just few minutes away from the hotel) to the shopping district. I booked the room thru hotels.com and requested the Non Smoking room 3 months in advance. I explained that I have allergies but ONLY got the response that nothing else was available. If they had notified even by email, I would have gone for another hotel. its the worst hotel experience for me.

the hotel staff is very helpful, the moment i checked in i was greeted by front office manager. the room is clean. actual room is much bigger and photos in the web is totally different. will stay there again.

Very nice casino and hotel next to the ferry terminal. The only problem we had was that most of the staff did not speak any English. The hotel manager was the only one who spoke well enough to communicate.

Smoking smell is strong even in the non-smoking floor. Near ferry pier, but shuttle is limited. (1/2 @) Can hear sound from corridor and next room.

I have emailed the hotel and informed that my parents are celebrating their birthday. My parents were surprised to have a cake and a birthday greeting card in the room. I think that's very sweet gesture from the hotel.

This is a very clean hotel. Location wise is alright, very close to turbojet port but need to take taxi or bus to other attractions. Free shuttle bus service, customer service is great, very helpful. Overall, good value for the hotel!

Exceptional hotel for the price we paid. The hotel staff were very helpful, courteous and went beyond their expected duties. A short walk to the HK- Macau Ferry station and the Chinese government office that issues permit or visa to enter mainland China. I will definitely stay at this place on my return visit to Macau. The hotel clearly runs secondary to the casino. The hotel lobby and public areas suffer from the smokey atmosphere permitted in the casino. This is reflected by the staff who exhibited arrogance to the point of indifference towards the hotel guests. Other than the doormen, who were excellent, all the other staff we encountered would benefit from a course […] on how to deal with customers politely and efficiently. Nice hotel with pleasant rooms. The little cafe by the lobby is open 24/7 which really make it convenient to get a quick nice meal at all time. The buffets they have are average in quality but their prices were very good.

We arrived from HK to Macau via ferry terminal in Taipa. There's no free bus to the hotel and you would have to take a cab. bring the chinese name of the hotel just in case. We got all big spacious room and a free room upgrades for all 3 rooms. We got a very nice cot wit bumper for my baby girl. We were advised to take the free shuttle to go places […] of interest but it took longer as it goes to the Macau ferry station to transfer.
