Economy Lodge - St. George

The shower water ran onto the floor and there was no way to adjust it. The curtain rod was on a rusty wire hanger. The shower curtain was new but did not have a liner to hold in the water and it sticks to your body, Yuck! There were no screens in the window and I can not believe this place passes health code. I ment to book at Econo Lodge (which is across the street). This motel is horrible. The staff is rude and unhelpful. We had 4 persons in the room and could only get 2 towels (the size would not work for a grown man), when we asked the owner/manager for more towels he did not have any - unacceptable! I had a queen suite with pullout booked AND paid for. The hotel manager gave it away before we arrived. "first come first serve," he said. I thought that's why I paid for the reservation. He offered us a different room that wreaked of smoke. He then offered us a non-smoking room under renovations. It looked clean, so we took it. After "moving in", we […] discovered that there were no garbage cans, the pillows smelled of head oils, the fridge was unplugged and moldy (lovely odor :p), the deadbolt didn't work, and the blinds were broken.
