"Best hotel in the area"
We had to visit this area for a funeral and of all the hotels nearby, this one seemed the best one when we did online research and we were not disappointed. Very impressed with the entire stay, and we will now consider this chain when traveling in the future.

"Not for comfort"
First let me say, I realize that most people travel for business or outside interest and don't stay in a room except for sleep. My husband and I stayed here in route to home from a vacation in South Mississippi. Since there was nothing in the immediate area, we went to dinner and back to the room. The chairs were mostly for work at desk. There was the […] ususal desk chair and a straight back chair like an office version of a dining chair. All of this made TV watching very uncomfortable and just to be able to relax the back after a long drive, it would have been nice to have had comfortable seating. This is not a hotel for comfort. The decor was very nice and the new walk in type shower was great as well as the whole bathroom. Devamı

"Hampton Inn, Athens, AL"
Excellent property and friendly, helpful staff. I definitely recommend checking this place out. The only reason I might not stay here during future visits to the area is their no-pets policy including small dogs.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn - Athens, AL. The hotel was top notch and the town of Athens is a must see. Make sure you check out the local ice cream joint "Kreme Delite" (just W of town square) for a special treat. It will bring back great memories. The breakfast was better than the average hotel spread.

"It's okay...."
First the address was wrong on hotels.com site... The bed was VERY firm! The pool was ice cold and the workout room equipment was old and/or not working. The room was very clean and breakfast was good.

"Shockingly nice hotel off I-65"
We stayed in a one room suite that was very large with two queens and a sleeper sofa. Desk, wet bar, microwave, flat-screen and very pleasant modern decor. Definitely the nicest hotel we've ever pulled off the highway to stay in. I would be happy to have a room like this at a four-star resort. "Hampton Inn in Athens, Alabama"
The hotek was new, and was nicely furnished. The personnel the night we arrived (Fri.) were not friendly nor helpful. The lady at the breakfast on Sat. was VERY nice. The man who checked us out on Monday morning, was also nice.

"Close to I65"
Very nice, new hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is different than the other Hampton Inn's that we have stayed at. There is a long high top table, four small round tables for 2 each and 4 4 person tables. I think it held less people and was not as convenient for the business traveler to use their computer. Breakfast was good […] with some different dishes offered each day along with breads, fruit and yogurts. There are 2 waffle machines but these were in constant use while we were there as there were many kids present. It has an indoor pool that looked nice but we did not use it. Stayed in a king studio room -- spacious, with very nice furnishings. Very good breakfast; staff very accomodating
