Hotel Brioni - Pula

Got into Pula by bus and finding the hotel was a bit of a chore. But the same can be said for all of them. Buses were convenient for getting into the old part of town and the bus station. Considering this was a resort type hotel and it was hotter than heck, was a bit surprised that the hotel did not have air conditioning in the rooms. Rooms were rather […] basic. One of the lights did not work. Swimming pool was filled with sea water, which I heard was typical for Pula. Bit it was still refreshing. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Free Wifi in the lobby was good and strong. Breakfast was included and they put out a nice spread. We thought the beds were a bit hard, but found that in most places in Europe. Overall, the hotel was modern looking and comfortable to be in. I would stay there again and would recommend it to people. Devamı

To start with free parking means find a stop where your car can fit between two trees and laundry facilities is more like laundry services (expensive). No air conditioning and a sea side room does not mean along the coast, it just mean that it faces the coast. You can hear when your neighbours use the washroom and the beds did not even have mattress […] covers. Honestly the hotel was not worth the price. We stayed in 3 hotels while in Croatia and this was our least favourite. The hotel needs a seriour upgrade to the 21century. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in and this is saying something as we’ve been travelling for the past 3 years. The hotel is perhaps 40 years old and nothing (and I mean nothing) has been updated ever since. Despite it’s age, it is built in an era/style that is totally devoid of any charm. The carpet is disintegrating and is a patch work of stains…the […] whole place buzzes with the sound of old fluorescent lighting…the place has an unfortunate smell of dust, offensive fragrance and lost holiday dreams. Our room stank of fragrance which was so overpowering we had to open all the windows and leave them open for the next 2 day and still the smell remained. Oh, and the hotel doesn’t use mattress covers! They fold a sheet over the top of discoloured mattresses so that you can see the multiple years of funk on the side of the mattresses. Double bed, forget it…we booked a double bed and were given 2 single beds. After complaining and showing our double bed booking they said they only had a 5 room with double beds and couldn’t give us one. What’s more the single beds creaked EVERY time you moved and on several occasions they woke me up at night. For completeness, there was no aircon, minibar/fridge…these were not standard in the 60’s! B/fast…Wow, this was disgusting. I won’t go into the details as they continue to make me feel ill but we didn’t eat there the second morning…this is a first. I could go on and on and on with this one, but please just DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!! Devamı

Although the hotel is a 25-minute bus ride (take service 2A from main bus stop, costing 11 Kuna) from the centre of Pula, what we found upon arrival was superb. A hotel right on the sea front and with brilliant walking opportunities close by. Room balconies a nice touch, especially with brilliant weather throughout our stay. My sons and I stayed here for a few days. And although the room's decor was outdated and there was no air conditioning, we had a few of the Adriatic Sea! We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as a starting point before travelling up the coast. The hotel is a short taxi journey from Pula airport (cost around 250kn). The hotel itself is quite out-dated with its decor but is clean and well equipped with an indoor swimming pool and a rocky beach which stretches around the whole complex. The food in the hotel […] was ok and included in the cost. Overall it was nothing spectacular and I personally would not have stayed here for any longer than we did. This hotel reminded me about the hotels built in 70-80s. It's exactly like that and needs some modernization - furniture in special. But the toilet was quite clean and new, we have to admit this. There are no electronic cards so you have to leave the key at the reception and this becomes boring after a few days. The towels are changed randomly so we […] have to buy our own. We had 4 pieces of small soap in one week so we had to buy our own. There was no shampoo in the room so we had to buy our own. There is no mini bar in the room, there is no AC in the room (but we haven't bought our own in this case). Getting from the airport to the hotel is another problem: there seems to be no buses so you will have to use a taxi. To go to the city is easier, there are buses going every 20 minutes. But if you come back late in the night you have to use taxi again and that could be quite difficult and expensive. There is a beach very close but full of rocks so you have to buy special shoes to walk or to get in the water. Forget about sandy beaches, you will not find something like this. But if you buy some diving mask and tube (buy it from the city not from Verduela) the experience is unforgettable. I highly recommend this. You can go to different trips to see some very nice places but they try to overcrowd the boats so this gives a bad impression to the public. Overall it was ok, but I don't recommend this hotel. Tyvärr var hotellet stängt när vi skulle checka in. Ansvarig personal löste dock problemet på ett mycket proffsigt sätt och gav oss ett rum på ett fantastiskt fint hotell strax intill. Självklart utan kostnad. Med buss är det både enkelt och billigt att ta sig in till staden (glöm inte besöka Colosseum, världens sjunde största och säkert den bäst bevarade). […] Mysigt akvarium i ett gammalt fort ligger nästgårds. Området är fullt av olika sportanläggningar. Belägen på en halvö gör att det vimlar av stränder/badställen. Otroligt vacker omgivning och trevliga människor. Kommer definitivt att åka tillbaka! Generelt ok for soling og bading og kort vei til soling og bading Noe slitt hotell men betjeningen var meget hyggelig og imøtekommende. Vi hadde kun frokost på hotellet og den var ok men synes det var for lite å velge i restauranter på kvelden. Litt langt å gå og det var lang vei til kolonialvarer. Colazione e cena abbondanti, si trova su una specie di penisola privata con molti servizi e facile da raggiungere. il personale conosce molto bene diverse lingue, anche l'italiano. L'hotel è sicuramente da ristrutturare ed aggiornare l'arredamento ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono, del resto si passa tutta la giornata al mare, in piscina, all'acquario […] o nella vicina Pola. Disponibili nella località campi da calcetto, tennis, bancomat. Ci sono due piscine con acqua salata e una spiaggia con gli scogli e una piccola baia,tutto con diversi servizi come noleggio barca o moto d'acqua gonfiabili e bar. Manca l'aria condizionata a volte si sente ma in genere c'è sempre corrente d'aria. Manca il servizio cassaforte(disponibili in reception) in camera e il frigo-bar. Hotellet er fint, men pas på den tilhørende restaurant. Meget charmerende før man vælger at gå ind med løfte om helt særlige priser til hotellets gæster etc. Men allerede da vi beder om at få kortet over de menuer, der står beskrevet udenfor falder charmen. Da regningen kommer står der bare et tal på en gul post-it, beløbet virker højt og vi beder om […] specifikation. Tjeneren forsøger at genskabe beløbet på lommeregner, men det lykkes ikke - vælger at give en "rabat", som vi accepterer selvom der stadig er unøjagtigheder, men da vi så vil betale med kreditkort, gælder rabatten kun ved kontant afregning. Rigtig fint hotel til sol ferien. Super pool område for både børn og voksne. Ligger med super udsigt over vandet og nem adgang til at bade i havet. Vi havde halvpension som var rigtig godt med god morgen og aften buffet.

Med 38 grader ute og svært små rom, ble natten varm og tung. Her burde de investere i aircondition! Uteområdet passet våre store barn godt, med aktiviteter og snorklingmuligheter. God mat i spisesalen. Hyggelig personalet alle steder.

Hôtel très bien situé dans le quartier Verudela, la plage ce trouve juste à côté. Vous trouverez un accès juste derrière l'hôtel. Avec une belle vue. L'hôtel est relativement propre mais un peu viellot. Les chambres sont nettoyées rapidement. Mais c'est vivable. Le centre ville n'est pas tous proche mais bien desservie depuis l'hotel.

Veldig pent hotell. Godt vedlikeholdt men preget av at det er noen år gammel. Var nok noe av det flotteste man kunne oppdrive på 80 tallet. Stilfult og store fellesarealer. soverommene var små. Veldig god service, velholdt og rent. Vi var her i midten av april, noe før sesongen startet så det var få folk på hotellet og ingen badetemperatur men jeg kan […] forestille meg at det må være supert å ligge på svaberget å sole seg og bade når vannet er varmt nok. flotte tur områder og flotte strand promenader rett utenfor hotellet. Vi merket ikke noe til det men tror det kan være varmt på rommene midt på sommeren da det ikke er klima på rommene. Ligger ca. 5-6km utenfor Pula by. Vi prutet konsekvent på alle taxier og betalte mellom 20 og 30KN (=norske kroner +/-) for taxi mellom byen og hotellet. Er du ute etter billig overnatting og seriøst hotell så velg dette. Vi hadde inkludert frokost og middag som ble servert i en flott storsal med stort selbetjent utvalg. drikke inkludert (øl, vin, brus, juice..) fra tappetårn. vi var 4 stykker som tok vi taxi fra hotellet til pula flyplass og betalte 100kn. (avtalt på forhånd) på takstameter stod det 125kn i tilfelle man ikke tør prute. Devamı

Sehr, sehr altes Hotel, das früher wohl mal eine Kurklinik war. So sehen leider auch die Zimmer und Gänge aus. Es wurde überhaupt nichts gemacht. Es riecht alles muffig und alt und man ist froh wieder draußen zu sein. Das Essen ist o.k.. Es gibt nur einen großen Innenpool, der sehr kalt ist. Hôtel simple mais confortable. Décort d' une autre époque mais attachant. Environnement très sympas dans une pinède. Restaurant a fuite, type banquet. Seul gros reproche, pas de climatisation dans les chambre. MEME si notre chambre vue mer avait une température nocturne acceptable mangées les 37 degrés en pleine journée.

För att vara ett tvåstjärningt hotell var det överraskande bra. Bra frukost och rent på rummet. Minus för gamla stinkande garderober och dåligt med parkering.

Dieses Hotel habe ich zum ersten Mal schon in 1986 besucht, und wenig hat sich wohl dort seitdem verändert (auch das Personal eher nicht). WLAN gibt es z.B. nur im Lobbybereich.

Bello e comodo ma certe cose non vanno proprio....niente acqua se arrivi dopo le 22, il bar chiude e la reception ti dice che puoi bere l'acqua del rubinetto in bagno perche' loro non te la possono dare,e vi assicuro che l'ho provata per urgenza ma alla fine ho preferisto disidratarmi! Arrivati all'Hotel, lo trovo chiuso! un cartello invitava a rivolgersi al Park Hotel distanet circa 300metri. Il voto che ho fornito nella recensione si riferisce al Park Hotel, classico Hotel della Croazia. Va bene per 2gg, e non è male rispetto ad altri.

Hotellet ligger ca 15 minuter med buss 3a (och en annan vilken vi glömt numret på) från stadskärnan ute på ett område som kallas Verudela (ändstationen) vilket är ett resortliknande område med massa hotell och semesterhus. Hotellet har ett par plaskpooler utomhus och en större pool inomhus. Dock ligger det precis vid klipporna till vattnet med egna […] solstolar och solterasser. Hotellet i sig är från 70-talet och rätt slitet men i övrigt rent och helt okej med relativt stora rum. I frukostmatsalen serveras frukostbuffé med stort utbud och en bordsnumrering som vi inte förstod oss på de två tillfällen vi åt där. Det fanns gratis internet på hotellrummet (lite taskig uppkoppling bara om man inte satt i lobbyn vilket är förståeligt med de kompakta väggarna). Det var enkelt att ta bussen in till stan på kvällarna för att äta då de restauranger som fanns ute på Verudelan hade något begränsat utbud. Det fanns även en mindre mataffär i grann"resorten" vilket var smidigt för en enklare lunch. Som helhet var det ett helt okej hotell för det priset, dock en aning långt utanför centrum, men om man ska sola och bada som var vårt syfte var det perfekt! Såvida man inte bara är ute efter att sola och bada räcker det bra med ett par nätter i Pula då stadskärnans sevärdheter klaras av på en dag. Devamı
