Upon arrival, one might wonder what you had booked into. A small barren entrance lobby; but the staff were efficient and upon entering the room, you saw a renovated suite, which was clean and adequate. Decent rates. Very convenient. Great location. I've been there twice already and very happy with it. This time around the lack of air conditioning in the rooms was an issue.... but still tolerable. Still a very acceptable option.

very good hotel, this area hotel is in a very expensive area. great value for your money. the room is the same as a one bedroom apartment. The staff very helpful. would recommend this hotel and i would stay there again. room has refrig,microwave, and utensils.

Lovely room, seems more like a little appartment than an hotel room. The building is very discrete, doesn't look like an hotel at all. There are no signs. Great location, walking distance from averywhere... Just need to improve the cleanliness of the linens. Complimentary breakfast could be perfect if a sandwich is added, perfect for the business travelers who had meetings at first hour in the morning.

It's a great small boutique hotel for a business traveler. It's in the heart of Polanco and close to everything. There are numerous restaurants in the area. Polanco is a safe area. The hotel is very small. The rooms are big suites with average furnishing. Has a full kitchen if you want to buy groceries and have dinner or breakfast in the comfort of […] your own room. The staff (of two) is very helpful getting taxis for you and/or giving recommendations on where to eat. There is a nice Argentinian Steak Restaurant right below the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel if you are traveling with kids since there is nothing for them to do. There is no lobby, pool or anything of what the big hotels have. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom really small. Bring your own shampoo. This is a non smoking hotel, even though there is a smoking option for the room. The in room safe does not work. They do not offer in house computor or printing for early airline boarding pass. Go to mail boxes etc, down the street.

Great executive suite: vast layout (vast kitchen+living room, nice bedroom and nice bathroom), very clean, comfortable, two TVs and two DVD players, coffee machine, oven, toaster, kitchenware, etc... I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff, the service, the room size and comfort, the location, all fabulous for what we paid. The only downside was the street noise that woke us up in the morning. The street is small but people have a tendency to honk a lot in this city. You get used to it I guess. The carpets could use a shampooing, […] but i walked around barefoot and it was fine. The guy at the front desk spoke excellent English and helped us locate a few things. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance and there's a French bistro directly across the street that has a great breakfast if you need more than the complimentary yogurt/fruit/coffee provided by the hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, wireless worked well although the signal is not as good in the bedroom. Breakfast is very simple, a coffee jar and a fruit or buiscuit on your door step. Pillows are not confortable. Furniture is oldish but in good condition. No problems during the stay.

The lobby almost got us turning right around to another hotel, we decided to see the room. The rooms were suites with living room, fully kitchenette, nice decor and overall really exceeded expectations! If you’re looking for something with more of a condo feel than a hotel experience then it’s hard to beat!

This property needs some desperate TLC! There were two broken chairs, the kitchen was half equiped and the lift broken. The staff were disinterested in their guests and did not have the good grace to welcome you or say goodbye! For the price this is a rip off, the only thing saving it is the location.

Day 1 there was not hot water at time of my shower. I called and they sent someone to check it out, but I needed to be at a meeting so a cold shower got me there. Day 2 was perfect. No problem. Clean room, decent internet connection and free breakfast. Day 3 had a minor tick as the hotel's coffee maker went bad, thus no one in the building woke up […] to coffee. ha sido un placer alojar en el Hotel Casa Castelar, el ambiente es muy bonito y calmo, hay siempre alguien en la reception listos para ayudarte. Hay solo pequeños fallos con el aigua, pero creo que esto pasa en todo el país.

この広さ、清潔度でこの値段は絶対にお得だと思いました。しかし一つ問題は夜中に１Fにあるレストランのオープンスペースを片づける際にとんでもなく大きな音がするってことです。30分～1時間くらいです。それがなければオール５だと思いました。毎朝ドアの前にコーヒーと、フルーツなどを置いてくれていました。ﾎﾃﾙのフロントの人もとても親切。感じがよかったです。

la regadera tiene una fuga no dejo de gotear, nos quedamos hasta las 5 de la tarde y nos cobraron el 50% de una noche adicional, PERO nos cobraron a tarifa full, mucho más cara que la que pagamos inicialmente. adicional, los cuartos están OK PERO no se parecen a los de las fotos.

En general, el hotel no da una muy buena impresión al inicio, pero el servicio es bueno. El unico detalle con este hotel es que no hay aire acondicionado, y hay mucho ruido en las noches a causa de los aviones.
