Not the best hotel in Vienna, but it was clean, close to the center, safe and had a normal European breakfast included. Nothing WOW about it other than it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to stay here.

The hotel location is just minutes walking from the main Museum complex, which is great. However, the hotel amenities are very basic: No shampoo, for example. Worse, our room had no AC or fan, just one window. In August, that can be deadly. Thankfully we got a cold front on our second day, but the first night was VERY uncomfortable.

Terminus Vienna was within walking distance of the inner city and the subway system. Everything was very modern and clean and the front staff were awesome! We would definitely go again!

Why this hotel rates only a star and a half (or is it now 2), I can't understand - perhaps there is a rule that you need to serve evening meals for more stars. Anyway, we found it really excellent, in a convenient location (from here you can walk almost anywhere central) and with friendly, helpful service. Look no further!

We are a family of three (husband, wife, and 15 month old child). We had a far better experience in this hotel than many of the reviews posted by other reviewers. When we arrived (at 7:30 AM), they already had our room cleaned and ready for us to check in. This was an excellent introduction to our stay with them. Furthermore, the room was clean and […] cozy! Although it wasn't big like rooms in the US, I did not feel claustrophobic. As per some of the reviews by other people, there are some things that are blatantly old about this hotel. The wooden floors have a bit of separation to them, and there are places where the trim is cracked, broken, or missing. However, these minor little details hardly detracted from the fact that I felt comfortable and safe during my entire stay. I had no problems with the bathroom, as it was EXTREMELY well kept and in good condition. The one thing that really made this hotel top-notch in my opinion was how the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us when our son became ill. We had already checked out of the hotel (kept our bags at the hotel for the day), and when we were walking towards our destination, our son ended up vomiting quite violently. The hotel staff was more than happy to either see us back to our room or to use the spacious lobby to allow us to clean him (and my wife) up so we could head back out. They were very kind to us and made our stay a true delight. In my honest opinion, this deserves a rating better than 1.5 stars, but it's totally worth the stay! What a pleasant surprise this little hotel was and so much more than a 1 1/2 star. We found it was ideal in so many ways - it's within walking distance of the city (15 - 20mins to Stefansdom), has breakfast provided (cereal, rolls with ham & cheese, coffee & hot water) helpful staff (ready with maps etc) and has to be the quietest hotel we've ever stayed […] in. Terminuksessa oli kaikkialla siistiä, huoneessa hyvä sänky, tallelokero, erittäin puhtaat lakanat ja pyyhkeet. Tosin yhden hengen huoneen sisustus oli aika kolkko ja parkettilattian sauvat irrallaan. ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, il costo non è eccessivo e l'hotel è perfetto per chi va per visitare Vienna pertanto serve un posto caldo, pulito e confortevole per riposare, biancheria pulita, E' vero la colazione è scarsa, ma ricordiamoci sempre il prezzo !!!! das Hotel liegt schön zentral, nachts ist es allerdings nicht so ruhig wegen einer nahen Hauptverkehrsstr.. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Het is een leuk niet al te groot hotel met een centrale ligging in een gezellige wijk vlakbij het centrum van Wenen. Een goede uitvalbasis om de stad te bezichtigen. 's Avonds is er op de gezellige Maria Hilfe altijd wel een leuk restaurant met terras om te eten. Nadeel is wel dat het hotel geen airco heeft en het was tijdens ons verblijf 37C. Das Hotel war sauber, die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer befand sich im fünften Stock (Dachgeschoss) und hatte nur zwei kleine, schwer erreichbare Fenster (Gaube). Die Hitze staute sich ziemlich. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber, die Betten (harte Matrazen) waren ganz gut, nur die Bettdecken viel zu warm. […] Das Frühstück war einfach, kein frisches Obst oder Gemüse (eine Banane/ein Apfel oder etwas Tomate/Gurke wäre gut gewesen (wir = 1 Veganer, 1 Vegetarierin), gab es aber auch auf Nachfrage nicht. Prisvärt hotell nära centrum. Sängarna var lite hårda och golvet knarrade. Bra med jalusier för fönstren. Bra badrum, men inget schampo, bara tvål. Liten men tystgående hiss. Frukost helt OK, men vi saknade grönt till smörgåsen. Dygnet runt bemanning av trevliga och hjälpsamma receptionister.

Hotel mit einem ausgesprochen guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und brillanter Lage. Das Frühstück ist völlig ausreichend. Einziger Wermutstropen ist die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. Wir hatten aber Glück und nur selten was von nebenan gehört!

positiv: Das Hotel liegt in einer eher ruhigen Gasse, ganz angenehm, es ist nicht zu weit von der Ubahn entfernt. Mit elektrischen Rollos kann der Raum komplett abgedunkelt werden und wir fanden es angenehm, dass wir bei gekippten Fenster schlafen konnten (Wir mögen keine Klimaanlage). Die Rezeptionistin ist eine sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende junge […] Dame, die sehr engagiert ist.. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut. Die Bettwäsch ist aber sauber und es gibt einen Matratzenschutz unter dem Leintuch. nicht so positiv: Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich abgewohnt, die Betten haben leider bei jeder Bewegung geknarrt, Der Boden ist nicht wirklich sauber und das WC weist Spuren der vorherigen Gäste auf. Wir waren nicht wirklich mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Das Interesse des Portier war hauptsächlich auf seinen PC gerichtet. Zahlende Kundschaft galt aus Störfaktor. Ein freundliches Lächeln? Fehlanzeige! Die Damen am Empfangsschalter waren nett und hilfsbereit. Die Reinigung des Zimmer war oberflächlich und gesaugt wurde unser Zimmer während unseres Aufenthaltes […] (1Woche) gar nicht. Anfangs wollte man uns eine "Besenkammer" andrehen. Auf drängen und Hinweis auf die Bilder des Hotels im Internet, weshalb wir das Hotel gewählt haben, bekamen wir ein Zimmer welches als "Standart" galt. Unser Fazit: Zentral gelegene bessere Hotels gibt es genug in Wien. Nie wieder "Hotel Terminus". Devamı

uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer waren OK und sauber. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, 3 Sorten Wurst, 3 Sorten Käse, verschiedene Brötchensorten, 2 Sorten Marmelade. Milch, Kaffee und Tee ein Ei hätte es durch Zuzahlung gegeben. Der Frühstücksraum war etwas eng, aber alles war für uns OK. Das Personal beim Frühstück und an der Rezeption […] war sehr bemüht und ging auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein. Unser W-lan in Zimmer 9 funktionierte nicht so gut, aber im Frühstücksraum und auch am Hotspot war der Empfang gut. Besonders gut hat mir gefallen, dass ich mir die Bordkarte ausdrucken lassen konnte. Auch das wir unser Gepäck am Abreisetag in der Rezeption noch deponieren konnten. Das Hotel liegt super zentral von der U-Bahn-Station MQ nur ein paar 100 m entfernt. Der Naschmarkt ist in anderer Richtung auch nur ein paar 100 m entfernt. Genauso die Einkaufstraße Mariahilf. Dort bekommt man alles was man benötigt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!!!!!! Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war super!!!! Devamı

Für die gute Lage allein ist der doch stattliche Preis kaum gerechtfertigt. Das Frühstück sowie die Zimmerausstattung lassen doch sehr zu wünschen übrig. Nichts desto trotz schließen die Fenster schalldicht und das Personal ist stets bemüht. Trotzdem werden wir das nächste Mal ein anderes Hotel aufsuchen.

Et enkelt hotell, med enkel frokost, men flott, rent bad, relativt sentral beliggenhet i en fredelig sidegate, hyggelig betjening og romslig rom. Eneste ulempe var at rommet i femte (øverste) etasje ble ganske varmt, selv med god mulighet til å åpne vinduer. Et utmerket alternativ i forhold til prisen!

Hotellet lå dejligt tæt på U-Bane og tæt ved de mange seværdigheder. Hotellet lå fint i en stille sidegade. Personalet i receptionen, ved morgenmaden og stuepigerne var meget venlige og hjælpsomme.

Un hôtel assez ancien, mais correctement rénové et entretenu, très calme, bien situé à Vienne. Une salle de petit-déjeuner un peu étroite. Un établissement tout à fait convenable.

Das Hotelpersonal war immer sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit wir konnten nach dem Auschecken unsere Koffer noch im Hotel stehen lassen bis wir zum Flughafen mussten. Das Hotel liegt super Zentral zwischen Maria Hilfer Straße und Naschmarkt, 5min zur U-Bahn station. Ideal für Städtereise.

We hadden ons enorm verheugd op de citytrip naar wenen en dan is het hotel ook enorm belangrijk. Het is ideaal gelegen dichtbij musea, winkelstraten en openbaar vervoer. Het ontbijt was minimaal maar wel op en top verzorgd : goed om al even een koffie of thee te drinken met een pistoletje en dan de stad in te trekken. kamers zijn goed verzorgd en heel […] basic. Misschien een minpuntje is de straal van de douche. de kamers zijn basic maar wij vertoeven daar enkel savonds en de bedden sliepen zalig. goed hotel , zeker prijs kwaliteit !! Devamı
