Bed was a little too soft for my liking, but overall we will be returning next time we are in Baton Rouge

"The SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Baton Rouge"
The Hotel stay was really nice, even though my stay was just for one day and a night, I was attending a Training Workshop in Baton Rouge. The room was on the suite-style with a livingroom area and kitchenette with a semi partition separating the bedroom. Very comfortable, and clean. The exericse room was nice, the hotel even had a laundry room.. The […] location was easy to get to from the interstate and places to eat was in walking distance from the Hotel. I always appreciate a clean hotel and was not disappointed . & the breakfast was great.. didn't need to go anywhere else
"Clean? No, not really."
We spent two nights at this hotel while bowling at the USBC Nationals. The first night, we found hair in the bathroom and on towels, and a dirty carpet to greet us. We didn't have the chance to complain, or get another room - the place was sold out because a women's basketball team there for a game. We traveled one day, then came back for our last day […] in Baton Rouge. We found a dirty toilet, hair in the bathtub again, and I stepped on an earring someone left there, supposedly after housekeeping was done. (I made sure to take photos of those problems!) The coffeemaker wasn't stocked with two regular cups of coffee - just one regular, one decaf. If you have two people wanting regular...sorry! Just not a pleasant stay at all. I was very please with the hotel as well as the staff. It was not the best location because I had to drive back and forth to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and to visit friends (but that was my vault). But the over all stay was wonderful.

Hotel is very nice and clean! The only problem we had was upon arrival they told us that they had over booked and that they would have to walk us over to the hotel across the street in the rain! (WOW) We had already prepaid so we ask to speak to a manager and she release a room to us right a way! The clerk could have been alittle more friendly!
My only complaint is that it took her so long to clean our room. The room was still dirty at 3:00p.m.

"Sub-standard"
I booked this hotel for two reasons: 1. It was close to the airport. 2. I've had good experiences with other Springhill locations in the past. I was VERY disappointed. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was great either. Here's my list: 1. The neighborhood is not good so there aren't a lot of dining locations close by. 2. The coffee and hot water were […] empty about half the time (including breakfast time). 3. The staff wasn't rude, but didn't seem well trained or terribly interested in being of service. 4. No area information/brochures/attractions. 5. No food vending machines, limited options in the "pantry". 6. The second night I was there I discovered the door latch on my first room didn't work, so I had to change rooms. The refrigerator didn't work in that room. No offer to rectify the situation. 7. I'm all about saving energy, but the rooms shouldn't be 78 when you walk in. Devamı

Very clean and brand new hotel, Everyone was very nice. the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had.

The quality of hotel appears and cleaniness did not disappoint. The hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise as well. The desk clerk upon arrival was not pleasant or courteous. The day time desk clerk and the hotel quality more than made up for her poor representation of the hotel.
"SpringHill Suites Baton Rouge LA"
The only item that I did not rate highly was the cleanliness of the room...and the reason was they did not vacumn. Beds, towels, furniture and everything else was just great. But not vacumning and that turned me off greatly.I even leave a tip for the maid because I know it is a difficult job. Still, no vacumning, which should be standard.

Friendly staff. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Pleasantly surprised to see a bar off the lobby when we arrived. Breakfast was very good. Would recommend hotel. Will stay if come to area in the future.

It was a very enjoyable hotel. Did not see A concierge on duty. Could have used one For some local advice. Other than that it was very nice.

WOW!! what a great place, best price I could find two minutes from the airport, best bed Ive ever slept in, Very new rooms up to date with nice furniture, tv's Ect..... Very quiet night never heard anyone in next rooms or even the hallways. I will recommend this place %100 to anyone with or without kids it was great!!

Very pleased with our stay. I had to sleep on sofa pull out and i think I slept better than I do at home. Room was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was good.
Was very unhappy with the front desk clerk . Cleak Was very unfrendly. had a problem with ticket when checking out . the manager came from the back didnt say hi or anything just jumped into the conversation and was rude . Hotel had very few towels i had to give them my dirty towel before they would be able to clean the my room. it was about 2pm before […] my room got cleaned and i had to ask for someone to come clean it. "A bit off the beaten path"
We went up for a family trip from New Orleans to Baton Rouge for a weekend at Blue Bayou. It is about a 25 minute drive to the water park. The area around the hotel is a bit sparse but the hotel itself was awesome.
